Villainous Family Young Master: My Life is Over

(Fia’s (???) Perspective / A Mix of Third Perspective and First Perspective )

”Princess, you have been surrounded. Please don’t run anymore. It’s not good for either of us. Her majesty is already heading here to look for you.”

A calm but firm voice echoed on the wide open grassland, causing me to look at the group of cavalrymen who had surrounded me.

They rode tall warhorses covered in light armor, while the riders themselves wore shining silver plate armor that shimmered faintly with magic.

Their formation was neat, their weapons were lowered but not drawn, and their movements carried the discipline of elite soldiers.

At the front of the group was a middle-aged knight with a stern face and a silver cloak hanging from his shoulders.

Looking at the group of people whom I was very familiar with, I smile happily.

”Hehe, Uncle Henric, you can’t catch me. Bringing mother in front of me is useless because I have the secret treasure of the Beast Lord.”

With that said, I raised my hand.

A small bell hung on ring fingers and bell chime rang out through the grassland.

Subsequently, a purple magic circle flashed and the grassland became quiet.

”Captain, the princess disappeared again. What should we do?”

A young knight rode his warhorse closer to the middle-aged cavalryman and asked helplessly.

Henric stared at the empty grassland where Fia had vanished.

For a moment, his stern face twitched slightly then he covered his forehead and sighed deeply.

”What should we do? What else can we do? Chase her.”

”But Captain, the princess used the Beast Lord’s Bell. We can’t track that kind of transfer magic immediately.”

”Then track the residual Magic Power and Elemental Spirits traces.”

Henric lowered his hand and looked at the faint purple particles still floating in the air.

”The Beast Lord’s Bell is the Treasure of the Fox Royal Family. It can forcibly transfer the user away, but it cannot erase the Magic Power and Elemental Spirits traces completely. She is still young and cannot control its destination perfectly. She should not have gone too far.”

The young knight nodded quickly.

”Yes!”

Another knight hesitated before asking, ”Should we inform Her Majesty?”

The moment those words fell, the surrounding knights became quiet.

Henric looked at him silently.

The knight immediately lowered his head.

”…I asked something unnecessary.”

”Of course we must inform Her Majesty.”

Henric’s expression became even more tired, ”If we hide this and Her Majesty finds out later, do you want to be the one to explain why the princess disappeared under our eyes again?”

No one answered. Obviously, no one wanted to do that.

Henric looked toward the direction where the mana trace extended.

”Send a message to Her Majesty. The princess has used the Beast Lord’s Bell and escaped.”

”Yes!”

”Also, tell the others to search nearby towns, stations, and roads. The princess has never traveled alone before. I don’t want to scammed by cunning humans.”

...

At the same time, far away from the grassland, near the Capital City of Antasia Empire, purple light flashed inside a small forest near the border road.

”Ah!”

I fell out of the magic circle and landed directly on the grass.

The large leather bag rolled beside me, and my head spun for several seconds before I finally recovered.

”Ouch…”

I rubbed my forehead and slowly sat up.

The Beast Lord’s Bell was indeed powerful, but using it was not comfortable at all.

Grandfather once said that this treasure was created by the first Beast Lord, who lived in the same era as the Radiant King.

It was said that the Bell possessed the power to shake time and space and even recreate the world.

Of course, no one had ever seen that legendary power with their own eyes, and there were no proper records of it except a few ancient stories passed down within the royal family.

To me, the Bell’s greatest use was much simpler.

Escaping.

As long as I poured Magic Power into it, the Bell could forcibly open a path through space and send me away from danger.

The only problem was that I could not control the destination properly.

”Hehe, I managed to escape no matter what…”

I could not help laughing softly but then, the next moment, my ears drooped.

No, this was not the time to be happy, mother was definitely angry now, very angry.

If she caught me, I would probably be locked in the palace for at least half a year, maybe even one year.

Thinking of that terrifying future, I shuddered and stood up while rubbing my sore waist.

”But where is this?”

I raised my head and looked around, only to see a distant city.

The walls were tall and solid, and magic lamps could be seen even from far away. Carriages entered and left through the main road, and people wearing all kinds of clothes moved around the gate.

Judging from the language on the road signs and the style of the buildings, this should already be inside the Antasia Empire.

”Did the Bell send me this far?”

I was surprised for a moment, then quickly became happy.

If I had already reached the Antasia Empire, then I was much closer to the Western Ridges.

As long as I could get there, I might be able to find the Fairyland.

And if I entered Fairyland, then maybe—

My fingers tightened around the leather bag.

Maybe my sister could still be saved.

Thinking of her pale face, my previous excitement slowly faded.
