Gun of Ashes

The roar is like thunder, shattering all obstacles easily, and with the deployment of those War Airships, once this weapon assembles to a certain scale, it can effortlessly destroy a city.

”How does it feel?”

The voice came from the other side, Queen Victoria was sitting on a chair, witnessing the man’s observation of the Armor of Original Sin.

”Perfect, powerful, and deadly.”

Bjorn exclaimed.

”We still have plenty of time to look at these, but before that, let’s talk about your intentions, Bjorn, as Ragnar’s offspring, your sudden arrival truly puzzles me.” The queen questioned.

According to intelligence, Bjorn should still be in the Viking countries, but he suddenly came to the Platinum Palace, seeking an audience with her, while the queen was very puzzled, after confirming Bjorn’s identity, she still met this mysterious Viking.

She was very curious, curious about what Bjorn wanted to do.

”Gaulunaro has been monitoring us constantly, they might already know about sending aid, which is why I had to be sneaky—I’m here with a letter from the King of the Ice Sea.”

The queen’s expression grew serious, the situation was far worse than imagined, Ingwig’s defense was fairly tight, but the Viking countries were different, although unified, their internal conflicts still existed, and as long as there were gaps, it gave enemies the chance to manipulate.

Bjorn smiled at the queen, this Viking was taller than imagined, like a war bear.

”Have Hebdo and the others set off?”

”Yes.”

”That’s good.”

He said as he took out the letter and handed it to the queen, the queen opened it, the words clearly appeared before her eyes.

”Although the occasion is not very formal, due to the current situation, it seems this is the best we can do.”

Bjorn continued.

”I, Bjorn Rodbrock, hereby represent the King of the Ice Sea, Ragnar Rodbrock, in alliance with Queen Victoria.”

The queen’s gaze froze, what appeared before her was not a letter, but an alliance agreement, Ragnar Rodbrock’s name had already been signed on the Viking countries’ side, leaving a blank space on the other side for her to sign.

”No... Wasn’t it said to resolve the issue with Ivar before deciding?”

The queen didn’t know what was going on at all, according to the Viking countries, the alliance with Ingwig was related to Ivar’s survival, but now the alliance agreement was right before her, so what did the commission mean?

”The Ivar incident has been resolved, it was already over when they set off.”

Bjorn bore a cryptic expression, he continued.

”We Vikings like the external perception of us, reckless, brutal as if we were a group of mindless fools, but in fact, we like these seemingly humiliating descriptions, they lead our enemies to underestimate us, ignore us.

On the ice fields, reckless hunters are only killed by beasts, only cunning hunters survive till the end.”

Bjorn extended his hand.

”God Odin blesses us, happy cooperation, Your Majesty.”

Countless pieces of information integrated together, in a fleeting moment Queen Victoria seemed to understand the reason behind it all, she couldn’t help but shake her head, reaching out and clasping hands with Bjorn.

”He didn’t fail to live up to the title of King of the Ice Sea.”
