Super Gene Hunting Ground

Long Aotian’s spaceship returned to Witch Star.

In a study within the Great Dragon Empire Palace, Long Aotian reported the situation to his father alone.

”Ao Tian, you’re back. You’ve worked hard. Where’s your third brother? Why didn’t he return with you?”

”Father, third brother, he—”

Long Aotian hesitated, glancing at his father.

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s heart trembled as he anxiously inquired:

”What happened to your third brother?”

”Father—”

Long Aotian cried out in grief and said:

”Third brother, he... he is dead!”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s body shook, staring stiffly at Long Aotian,

”Dead, dead?”

With a thud, Long Aotian knelt before his father, choking up:

”Third brother was killed by Yang Xiao. And the hundreds of guards I left on Earth back then were also killed by Yang Xiao.”

”What? Killed by Yang Xiao?”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s eyes widened,

”Wasn’t Yang Xiao always on Witch Star? How did he get back to Earth to kill the Third Prince?”

”More than a year ago, Yang Xiao borrowed an interstellar spaceship from the Flying Leopard Empire and returned to Purple Origin Star. It was then that Yang Xiao flew back to Earth from Purple Origin Star, where he had a conflict with the third brother and killed him.”

”Thud!”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire sat powerlessly in his chair, overwhelmed with grief.

In the past two years, the Great Dragon Empire had suffered consecutive misfortunes: the director of Heavenly Dragon Academy, Long Kui, was killed, the War God was killed, and the power of the entire Heavenly Dragon Empire plummeted.

Now, his son, the Third Prince, had been killed.

This left the elderly Emperor of Great Dragon Empire feeling deep sorrow and despair.

In an instant, a surge of anger rose from deep within.

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire gritted his teeth and roared:

”Yang Xiao, it’s Yang Xiao again. Ever since Yang Xiao turned against us, he has continuously destroyed my empire and killed my relatives. How can this be tolerated?”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire slapped the table, stood up, his entire body filled with a killing aura,

”Go, pass my order, gather one hundred thousand elite guards!”

As for the Third Prince, Long Aotian was not truly upset. After a few months, the little brotherly affection left in his heart had already disappeared. He had just put on a show of pain for his father; after all, if the brother is gone, the older brother shouldn’t shed a tear?

At this moment, seeing his father in rage about to mobilize the army, he was startled, saying:

”Father, what are you going to do?”

”I will kill Yang Xiao to avenge your Uncle Long Kui, Uncle War God, and your third brother.”

”But Yang Xiao is now in the Flying Leopard Empire, and we—”

”Hm, do you think I’m afraid of the Flying Leopard Empire? Immediately gather the army. You personally go to the Flying Leopard Empire and tell that old Flying Leopard Emperor that if he doesn’t hand over Yang Xiao by tomorrow evening, my Great Dragon Empire’s one hundred thousand elite guards will march over,

This time, I’d rather perish than yield!”

”Father?”

”No more nonsense, go, carry out my order!”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s authority brooked no questioning.

Long Aotian, knowing his father’s temper, said no more and turned to leave his father’s study, finding Chief of Guards, General Long Ba.

”General Long Ba, father’s order, immediately gather one hundred thousand elite guards, prepare to attack the Flying Leopard Empire!”

”Huh?”

General Long Ba listened, bewildered, looking at Long Aotian.

He had attended the Witch Star Empire Alliance meeting with the Emperor of Great Dragon Empire two months ago and was very aware of the current situation on Witch Star, where all the empires were preparing to deal with the possible Dwarf Star war, with each empire declaring unity and cooperation against external forces.

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s speech at the conference echoed still in his ears. How could he now shift to waging war on the Flying Leopard Empire?

General Long Ba looked at Long Aotian,

”Your Highness, I didn’t hear clearly. Could you please say it again?”

Long Aotian sighed and said:

”Father’s order, gather one hundred thousand elite, prepare to attack the Flying Leopard Empire, execute the command!”

This time, General Long Ba no longer doubted his ears and asked,

”Why?”

”Don’t ask, just execute the command. I have an urgent task now to go to the Flying Leopard Empire.”

Long Ba became even more confused,

”Aren’t we attacking the Flying Leopard Empire? Why is his Highness going there? What if they detain you as a hostage?”

Long Aotian bitterly smiled, shook his head, and said no more, hurriedly leaving.

General Long Ba watched Long Aotian’s departing figure, touched his own forehead.

”No fever, no dizziness, I didn’t hear wrong. What on earth is going on?”

Gathering one hundred thousand troops to attack the Flying Leopard Empire is no child’s play.

Long Ba hesitated for a moment, ran to the palace to find the Flying Leopard Emperor.

”Your Majesty, the Eldest Prince just issued an order for me to gather one hundred thousand elite guards to attack the Flying Leopard Empire tomorrow. Is this true?”

The Emperor of Great Dragon Empire coldly said:

”It’s true, execute immediately!”

”This?”

”Don’t ask why, just execute immediately!”

Anger tinged the Emperor of Great Dragon Empire’s voice.

Long Ba was startled, immediately bowed,

”Yes!”

....

Soon, the news of the Great Dragon Empire mobilizing its army spread throughout Wentian City.

In addition to the army of Wentian City, parts of elite guards from other cities were also mobilized.

Overnight, by the next morning, all arriving guards had assembled, numbering over one hundred thousand.

....

Such a large-scale military mobilization by the Great Dragon Empire naturally could not escape the attention of intelligence personnel from various empires.

By the next morning, the major empires, along with the Genetic Store Elder Court, had received news of the Great Dragon Empire mobilizing troops.

Moreover, there was also information about the Great Dragon Empire’s preparations to attack the Flying Leopard Empire.

Overnight, the entire Witch Star was in shock!

No one knew why the Great Dragon Empire would suddenly take such action!

For a moment, people were in a panic!

...

The Flying Leopard Emperor had already fallen asleep but was awakened by the urgent knocking of the guards outside the chamber.

”Your Majesty, something terrible has happened! Your Majesty, something terrible has happened!”

The Flying Leopard Emperor woke from his sleep, irritably said:

”What could be so urgent that it can’t wait until tomorrow to report? Can a person not sleep?”

”Your Majesty, intelligence from Dragon City reports that the Great Dragon Empire has gathered one hundred thousand elite overnight, saying they are to attack our Flying Leopard Empire, please get up quickly!”

”What?”

The Flying Leopard Emperor opened his eyes, sitting up directly from the bed.

The concubine beside him also woke up in shock, quickly helping the Emperor get dressed.

The Flying Leopard Emperor hurriedly threw on his clothes, dashed out of the hall.

At the gate of the sleeping chamber stood several guards and an intelligence officer who had rushed from Dragon City overnight.

”What exactly happened? How could the Great Dragon Empire suddenly gather troops to attack us? Is the intelligence incorrect?”

The Flying Leopard Emperor couldn’t believe it no matter what. Everything had been fine, no reason at all. A few days ago, he had seen the Great Dragon Empire in Mingluo City, where they discussed army command and mobilization.
