Super Gene Hunting Ground

Ever since the Witch Star’s various empires joined forces against the Dwarf Star people last time, a sense of panic has remained looming over the hearts of the Witch Star people.

The Elder Court of the Genetic Store Headquarters convened two more meetings to discuss the potential crises in the future, with the core issue being:

If Thanos Saint really arrives at Witch Star again, how should everyone respond?

Everyone looked at each other, speechless.

The Emperor of Great Dragon said:

”Five hundred years ago, Thanos Saint from Dwarf Star attacked our Witch Star. At that time, eight Saint Level Supreme experts on Witch Star joined forces to battle Thanos. After a great war, both the eight Saint Level Supreme experts and Thanos perished together.

Since then, Dwarf Star people have always been a hidden concern for us Witch Star people. This worry has lasted for five hundred years. The old generation of ancestors are no longer around. We did not experience that unprecedented battle. We also forgot the threat of the Dwarf Star people.

Unexpectedly, five hundred years later, the Dwarf Star people really attacked our Witch Star again. Only now we don’t have any Saint Level Supreme experts.

Even counting all the Emperor Level Transcendent experts, there are less than twenty. How do we fight Thanos?”

The White Elephant Emperor said:

”Since Thanos Saint and the eight Saint Level Supremes perished five hundred years ago, how could Thanos still be alive? In my opinion, the Dwarf Star people might just be bluffing. Don’t let the Dwarf Star people scare us.

This time we completely eliminated more than five thousand Dwarf Star people, including five Emperor Level Transcendent experts, which clearly shows that the Dwarf Star people are not as terrifying as rumored.”

Everyone nodded, and someone agreed:

”It’s extremely rare for us Witch Star people to live over three hundred years. Emperor Level Transcendent experts are only over two hundred years old. Thanos, even being a Saint Level Supreme, couldn’t possibly live seven or eight hundred years, right?”

”Yes, reasoning from this, Thanos should no longer exist, or perhaps the Dwarf Star people want to conquer us and use the name of Thanos Saint to scare us.

Otherwise, why would they send these five thousand people here? If Thanos were to directly bring his army, he could easily sweep our Witch Star.”

”Yeah, makes sense!”

...

The Second Elder of the Genetic Store swept his gaze across everyone and said in an aged voice:

”If Thanos no longer exists, that would be for the best. However, there’s another question that everyone may not have considered?

We Witch Star now have only a dozen Emperor Level Transcendent experts, but the number of Dwarf Star people’s Emperor Level Transcendent experts is unknown, or whether they have Saint Level Supreme experts is uncertain.

Judging from the five thousand advance troops they sent this time, their strength is extremely formidable. Five Emperor Level Transcendents, along with five thousand Empire Level Advanced realm super experts; this strength indeed should not be underestimated. Their main force must be much stronger than their advance troops.

Even without the presence of Thanos Saint, it’s still a severe challenge for us, and not optimistic.”

Upon hearing this, everyone’s hearts sank, and the atmosphere in the conference hall grew heavy.

The Flying Leopard Emperor lightly coughed and said:

”Urgently, the Witch Star needs to formulate a temporary battle plan. Should the Dwarf Star people launch a large-scale attack on Witch Star, we need to quickly respond effectively.”

The Second Elder nodded,

”Yes, the Flying Leopard Emperor’s proposal is good, and it’s precisely the reason I’ve called everyone to this meeting today. Witch Star faces a severe threat that concerns the life and death of Witch Star people.

I suggest that from now on, all empires cease any battles among themselves, forming a united front against external threats.”

The Great Dragon Empire was the first to express agreement,

”Second Elder, I fully support your proposal. From now on, my Great Dragon Empire will not initiate any challenges to other countries.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor sneered:

”Emperor of Great Dragon, haven’t these past years of warfare on Witch Star been instigated by you?”

The Emperor of Great Dragon’s face changed and he said awkwardly,

”Wanyan, that was then, and this is now. Let bygones be bygones. We need to unite against the Dwarf Star people!”

”Is it that after dealing with the Dwarf Star people, you plan to turn around and attack our Flying Leopard Empire to fulfill your grand ambition to dominate Witch Star?”

”You?”

Second Elder hurriedly mediated:

”Flying Leopard Emperor, Emperor of Great Dragon, Your two empires and the Youming Empire are indeed the absolute main forces of our Witch Star. At crucial moments, everyone should abandon past resentments and unite steadfastly against external threats.”

White Elephant Emperor immediately chuckled and said:

”Second Elder is right, and the Youming Empire will comply.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor said:

”Our Flying Leopard Empire has always been a peaceful force on Witch Star, never initiating wars. As long as other empires no longer provoke us, we can also unite against external threats for the greater good.”

Second Elder laughed heartily,

”Wanyan has always maintained a noble stance, deserving of praise. Dragon, what about you?”

Emperor of Great Dragon smiled awkwardly and said:

”Naturally, we obey the Second Elder’s orders.”

”Haha, not orders, but we Elders of the Genetic Store are merely playing a coordinating role, as we all share a common home.”

Someone asked:

”Second Elder, why isn’t Great Elder here? At a crucial moment, Great Elder’s absence is felt. I remember Great Elder is at Emperor Middle Level Peak, and if he were on Witch Star, it would give us added confidence.”

Second Elder coughed lightly and said:

”I have sent an urgent notification to all branches of the Genetic Store, hoping to quickly locate Great Elder and bring him back to manage the situation.”

Third Elder, sitting aside, suddenly said:

”I have a proposal for everyone to think about: if, and I mean if, what if we are defeated by the Dwarf Star people, what should we do?”

”Buzz!”

Everyone in the room felt a shock in their minds, staring dumbfounded at Third Elder.

This hypothesis had crossed everyone’s mind, but no one wanted to believe it, much less accept this possible reality, so no one was willing to bring up this suffocating and terrifying hypothesis.

The conference hall was deathly silent!

After several tens of seconds passed, Second Elder sighed deeply,

”If we are conquered by the Dwarf Star people, Witch Star may thus become a colony of Dwarf Star. Even if the Witch Star people are not completely massacred by them, those remaining would become slaves of the Dwarf Star people.

Over the years, all of your empires have searched other planets in the universe and attacked other planets. Just talking about the Purple Origin Star, back then Great Dragon Empire led dozens of empires to conquer Purple Origin Star and slaughtered most of the local natives.

Now, this misfortune might come to us.

In the vast universe Xinghai, lower level evolving species become subservient to higher level evolving species; this is a cruel law that no one can change.”

Upon hearing this, everyone sighed endlessly.

The hundred emperors present, all possessing their own empires, families, and vast interests on Witch Star, found it hard to accept that all these could be destroyed at any moment, with nations ruined and families lost.

The atmosphere was now oppressive to the extreme.

The Flying Leopard Emperor stood up,

”I have an immature idea—to preserve the future generations of Witch Star people, we should relocate some to Purple Origin Star, to avoid being wiped out by the Dwarf Star people.”
