Super Gene Hunting Ground

Jino stared blankly at Yang Xiao, as if seeing a cold-hearted avenger assassin.

After a while, Jino said softly:

”Brother Yang, the first two conditions I think we can barely meet. We can give White Elephant City to you, and we can also let the wildmen coexist peacefully with us, sharing the world, and no longer massacre each other. Isn’t this the alliance we have now?

But the third condition, you ask the Eldest Prince Long Aotian to kneel and apologize to the wildmen, this? This is too difficult!”

Yang Xiao smiled faintly and said:

”It’s not that I want the Eldest Prince to do anything, but the wildmen brothers have great resentment in their hearts. For hundreds of years, the people of Witch Star have killed millions of wildmen on Purple Origin Star to mine, almost driving the wildmen to extinction.

Now you want them to help their former killers, it’s something the wildmen cannot accept.”

”But weren’t we all doing well before? You even brought wildman warriors to help me sneak attack on White Elephant City, how come now it’s not possible?”

”Indeed, it was fine before, but as soon as the Eldest Prince arrived, he wanted to use a borrowed knife to kill, letting us fight to the death with Hai Mu so he could benefit from the situation. The wildmen are very resentful about this and no longer trust you, let alone Long Aotian.

To be honest, even if the Eldest Prince was willing to kneel and apologize, I am not sure if I can persuade the wildman warriors to send troops to help you again.

You know, there is a saying spreading among the wildmen now,

let you kill each other while the wildmen reap the benefits, eventually wiping you out and driving you off Purple Origin Star.”

”Buzz!”

Jino once again felt a buzzing in his mind, cold sweat breaking out.

Honestly, what he worries most about now is this: if all the wildmen become aware and wait for them to kill each other, this is not the outcome he wants to see.

”This, Brother Yang, if so, you might not necessarily benefit. Even if the wildmen kill us all, the people of Witch Star will eventually send a heavy army to Purple Origin Star, and when they arrive, they might wipe out all the wildmen, leaving none.”

”What Brother Jino says is true, but who can predict the future? Maybe by that time, you and the Eldest Prince, Hai Mu, and others might be dead already.

Even if Witch Star destroys the entire wildmen of Purple Origin Star by then, what meaning does it have for you?”

Jino wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, a sense of terror rising within.

Life only happens once for anyone, no matter how beautiful the future is, if Jino and Long Aotian die before their eyes, the future holds no meaning for them.

Even if all the wildmen die accompanying them, it cannot restore their lives.

Jino looked at Yang Xiao, taking a deep sigh, and said:

”Brother Yang, can we discuss the third condition again?”

”There’s no room for negotiation. Either Long Aotian represents the Great Dragon Empire to come to Wildman City and kneels to apologize in front of all wildmen, sincerely seeking forgiveness,

or you stay and die in the tug-of-war in Karachi City with Hai Mu and others,

I reckon the Great Dragon Empire is facing the alliance of the Youming Empire and Snow Leopard Empire, with immense pressure. Each day you wait means the empire is closer to being wiped out by opponents, right?”

Yang Xiao finally hit a critical point in the opponent’s weakness, aiming to severely shake Witch Star people’s supreme belief and change their racial discrimination.

Yang Xiao added,

”If City Lord Hai Mu also wants our help to deal with you, I can’t guarantee the wildmen will reject him.

Honestly, I am just an immigrant from Earth, and there are major splits within the wildmen now. Most wildmen do not trust you and would rather watch both sides battle to death than send troops to help you.”

Jino hesitated for a moment, then said:

”Brother Yang, I will report back to the Eldest Prince immediately and let him make the final decision.”

”Alright.”

Yang Xiao saw Jino off, and just before boarding the spaceship, Yang Xiao quietly said to Jino:

”If Karachi City falls to Hai Mu’s attack, you can seek refuge in Wildman City.”

Jino was very moved upon hearing this and grabbed Yang Xiao’s hand:

”Brother Yang, thank you!”

”There’s no need for formality between us. I am someone who pays back kindness. We will always be friends.”

...

After sending Jino off, the Wildman King asked Yang Xiao:

”Yang Xiao, must we help one side? Why can’t we let them kill each other, and then take the opportunity to eliminate and drive away the people of Witch Star? It’s such a good chance!”

”We can deal with the people of Witch Star on Purple Origin Star, but can we deal with the people of Witch Star on Witch Star itself?”

The Wildman King was taken aback and fell silent.

”Although the three major empires on Witch Star are at war and have no energy to manage the struggles on Purple Origin Star, the war will eventually end. By then, whether the Great Dragon Empire wins or the alliance of the Youming Empire and Snow Leopard Empire wins, it will be a disaster for us.

If the Youming Empire wins, of course, the Eldest Prince would want revenge and by then they would mobilize heavy troops and super strongmen from Witch Star to sweep us wildmen away, and no one could stop them.

If the Youming Empire wins, they will also attack us wildly, wiping out the wildman tribes.”

”Yang Xiao, according to what you said, what should we do?”

”We can only help Long Aotian to defeat Hai Mu and others.”

”You really hate Long Aotian, don’t you? Why help him? We could also help Hai Mu defeat Long Aotian.”

”Although I hate Long Aotian, I have no choice but to help him now,”

Yang Xiao said, arranging three teacups on the table,

”Look, it’s like the three major empires on Witch Star. Originally the Great Dragon Empire and Snow Leopard Empire were fighting, and the Great Dragon Empire had the advantage. Why did the previously neutral Youming Empire choose to help the Snow Leopard Empire?”

”Why?”

”Very simple, the Great Dragon Empire was already strong, and if it annexed the Snow Leopard Empire, it would become even more powerful. At this time, it would threaten the survival of the Youming Empire.

But if the Youming Empire allies with the Snow Leopard Empire to fight the Great Dragon Empire and defeat it, then Youming Empire would become the dominant force on Witch Star,

so it was in Youming Empire’s interest to previously sit back and watch the Great Dragon Empire and Snow Leopard Empire slaughter each other, weakening each other, which was good for the Youming Empire,

However, once the Great Dragon Empire is about to annex the Snow Leopard Empire, Youming Empire cannot stand by and must help the Snow Leopard Empire to avoid a disadvantageous situation in the future.

Our situation now is the same. The most beneficial situation for us is for the three empires on Witch Star to remain in a three-legged stalemate, where no one can overwhelm the others,

so that they cannot completely free up an hand to deal with us wildmen and might even require our help, like Long Aotian does now.”

The Wildman King nodded.

”Are you saying we should help Long Aotian?”
