Super Gene Hunting Ground

White Elephant City, the City Lord Hai Mu has been quite excited lately.

News has come from Witch Star that the Snow Leopard Empire plans to give the Snow Leopard City on Purple Origin Star to the Youming Empire, in return for the Youming Empire’s support against the Great Dragon Empire.

That means Hai Mu will soon be able to take control of Snow Leopard City, becoming the largest power organization on Purple Origin Star.

A few days ago, the City Lord of Snow Leopard City, Aguda, had already come to negotiate the transfer of the city with him.

Hai Mu’s manpower is limited, and he is a bit concerned about security if he wants to take over Snow Leopard City with dispersed forces, so he has applied to the Youming Empire on Witch Star to send three thousand elite soldiers to help him take over Snow Leopard City.

Meanwhile, Aguda had other plans.

”Hai Lord, since our two nations are already allied, shouldn’t we also form an alliance on Purple Origin Star to deal with Geno in Karachi City together?”

Hai Mu smiled slightly,

”What high opinion does Aguda Lord have?”

”Very simple, we join forces to directly eliminate the Great Dragon Empire’s forces on Purple Origin Star. Karachi City can be mine, Pegasus City can be yours, how’s that?”

Aguda has already lost Snow Leopard City, but he still commands forces and a team of miners, so as long as Karachi City is captured, he can directly transfer people and horses over to continue mining on Purple Origin Star.

”Or, we can capture Karachi City, then the city will be yours, and Snow Leopard City will still be mine, so I won’t have to bother relocating, it’s too troublesome, is that okay.”

Hai Mu chuckled and said:

”Aguda Lord, according to the agreement, I don’t need to lose a single soldier, you will automatically hand over the entire Snow Leopard City along with the mines under its jurisdiction to me,

now you’re asking me to send troops to attack Karachi City, even if we capture it, it would be at a great cost, and Karachi City isn’t that easy to attack.”

”Precisely because you exerted effort that I’m willing to give Pegasus City to you as well, so you gain sole control over Karachi and Pegasus City, while I still have my Snow Leopard City, and the future of Purple Origin Star is your domain,

our two countries are allies now, you wouldn’t deny me some living space, right?

If you also kick me out, it won’t do you any good, can you conquer all the small nations on Purple Origin Star?

Without Snow Leopard City, I can still attack some Wildmen’s Primitive Forest areas, build cities and mine anew, but can you alone capture Karachi City?”

Hai Mu glanced at Aguda, nodded, and said:

”You’re right, okay, I agree to join forces with you to attack Karachi City, but the empire is sending a three thousand strong army to help me take over Snow Leopard City, we’ll take action once they arrive.”

Aguda thought it over, he didn’t want to lose too much force either, since the Youming Empire had reinforcements, that was naturally better.

However, neither of them expected that in the coming days, Pegasus City and Karachi City quietly gathered the guards from their jurisdiction’s mining bases to the city vicinity, and some guards were also supplemented inside the cities to strengthen the defense.

This made them somewhat displeased, as Geno was prepared, making the attack much more difficult.

A few days later, a spy came to report.

”Hai Mu Lord, Geno held an alliance oath-taking ceremony with Wildman City today in Karachi City, with five thousand fully armed Wildman warriors transported from Wildman City for the event,

in addition, the guards from Pegasus City and Karachi City, along with the Wildman warriors, also conducted exercises together. The scene was very grand and mighty.”

Hai Mu was stunned upon hearing this,

”Wildman?”

”Yes, the earlier Wildmen from Wildman Valley who later surrendered to the Great Dragon Empire and even opened mines.”

”Does Wildman City have that many warriors?”

”Yes, and they also announced a more shocking news.”

”What is it?”

”The Wildmen have already captured Fire Wolf City, and have reclaimed three Wildman tribes in Primitive Forests near Fire Wolf City, numbering 20,000 to 30,000. Currently, the total number of Wildmen in Wildman City and Fire Wolf City has reached sixty to seventy thousand.”

”Bang!”

Hai Mu slapped the table, dumbfounded and speechless for a long time.

He had long heard of the Wildman Valley’s matters, but hadn’t paid much attention to it.

In his impression, Wildmen were scattered in the forest; despite their large numbers and individually fierce combat power, because they operated independently and fought separately, their combat power was limited.

He never dreamed that Wildmen could not only build a city, but also have the ability to capture Fire Wolf City.

Although Fire Wolf City is just a small city, it’s not easy to conquer; without five or six thousand elite guards and enduring certain casualties, it’s impossible to seize it.

”Wildman City really has gathered sixty to seventy thousand people? And captured Fire Wolf City?”

He still didn’t believe it.

So the spy nodded and said:

”Yes, I heard the announcement personally from Jino City Lord and the Wildman King onsite.”

”If Geno really got help from the Wildmen, the situation becomes complicated.”

At this moment, a guard reported,

”Master, Aguda Lord requests to see you.”

”Quick, let him in, he’s probably here about the Wildman issue too.”

A moment later, Aguda hurriedly ran in.

”Hai Mu Lord, did you hear? Fire Wolf City has been captured by Wildmen, and the Wildmen have announced a union with Geno.”

Hai Mu frowned and nodded,

”I just found out too. Ah, it seems the situation is somewhat complicated.”

”But if we just give up like this, wouldn’t it be a pity?”

Aguda was unwilling to accept it.

Hai Mu said:

”A few days ago, Pegasus City and Karachi City had already withdrawn their forces and gathered all the guards from the mining base near the city, ready for us to launch a war by surprise.

Now they’ve drawn the Wildman army into the alliance. Once the war starts, we’ll be evenly matched, and the outcome will be unpredictable; this is not the situation I want.”

For Hai Mu, he could accept Snow Leopard City without risk, with absolutely no need to risk heavy casualties or even total annihilation to attack Karachi City.

However, for Aguda, it’s different. After relinquishing Snow Leopard City, even if he goes to seize a Wildman’s Primitive Forest area to rebuild and mine anew, the time and cost are still substantial.

Aguda naturally hopes to directly capture Pegasus City and Karachi City.

The two discussed for a long time, finally, Aguda gritted his teeth and said:

”Hai Mu Lord, the defense of Pegasus City is relatively weak, I’ll gather all the guards and miners from Snow Leopard City, over twenty thousand people, to siege Pegasus City,

when Geno sends his army to reinforce Pegasus City, you will ambush his reinforcements halfway, encircle the city and strike the rear,

he can send at most two thousand reinforcements, while you send six thousand elites to intercept, surely you can crush him, with minimal cost, you’ll be able to eliminate Geno’s army,

after eliminating his reinforcements, we can then join forces to attack Karachi City together. I’ll support you in dominating Purple Origin Star.”

Hai Mu thought for a while, chuckled, and said:

”Okay, this plan is good, since Aguda brother is willing to risk being the bait, I cannot be ungracious, can I? Once my reinforcements arrive, we’ll immediately implement this plan,

humph, what Wildmen troops, a rabble, can scare me?”
