Naruto was just sitting on his chair, completing the daily job as a Hokage. Shikaku and Kakashi were sitting behind him, helping him with the work.

Team after team was coming in to ask for tasks. Compared to his future self, when he was drowning in papers, he was quite free.

That’s also because of how developed the future Konoha was and just how many things he had to do.

Currently, he only needed to focus on giving missions and receiving information from other shinobi

Because there were a lot of problems in the village, especially with the Elders gone, Danzo gone, and Jiraiya gone, Naruto was left working on his own.

Fortunately, Shikaku and Kakashi were here.

Otherwise, the situation would’ve been overwhelming for him.

Information about Anbu, security, spies, news about every single new mission, new clients- everything was difficult.

But the most important among those was selecting the Chunin from the Chunin Exam.

Naruto himself had become a Hokage, so the ranking didn’t matter, and he still wanted to carry the legacy of a Genin.

After all, he was a Genin.

”So, I think Shino should be the only Chunin this time. Neji also has a chance, but I think Shino currently showed the strength and mindset of a Chunin.”

That’s right! Unlike in the future, where Shino defeated Kankuro but didn’t become a Chunin, Naruto believed he was worthy of this position.

Neji did have a chance, and so did Sasuke.

”Of course, we can’t forget about Shikamaru. He won his battle against Temari, and despite the overwhelming gap in strength, he was able to turn the tide of the battle.”

Hearing his words, Shikaku asked.

”What about Sasuke and Neji? Both have shown considerable strength.”

He wasn’t wrong. Neji’s strength was closing in on an Elite Chunin, while Sasuke was closing in on a Special Jonin.

Both did have the strength, and both were also geniuses.

Naruto shook his head.

”Neji still has some problems with his identity, while Sasuke is tactical enough, but he lacks the calmness that both Shino and Shikamaru have.”

”That’s just like me. Even without Dad’s help, I would’ve been just as strong as them by using a little bit of Kyubi’s Chakra.”

”But I wouldn’t have the mind to be a Chunin. So, there is no need to talk about their promotion. Let’s see how they perform in the next Chunin Exam.”

Hearing his words, Kakashi raised his eyebrows.

”That reminds me. With you gone, who will fill in the role of the third member of Team Seven, or are we going to disband the team?”

”Disbanding the team will be better.”

Naruto understood that Sasuke needed a lot more experience to become a more powerful ninja, while Sakura needed her attention to shift from Sasuke to strength.

”I plan to put Sasuke into Team 10, and Sakura will join Team 8. Hopefully, Sasuke can improve to the ranks of Chunin by the next Chunin Exam.”

”I’ve already told Uncle Inoichi to focus on Ino. Uncle Shikaku, you should tell Uncle Choza about Choji’s training.”

”If they can improve to a Chunin rank by the next exam, I will pull out Sasuke and put Shikamaru back.”

”As for Sakura, she will work with Team 8 and in the hospital.”

”Hospital?”

Kakashi sounded surprised.

”Of course! Kakashi-Sensei, Sakura has such exceptional Chakra Control. Why didn’t you tell her to join the hospital?”

Shikaku turned towards Kakashi and smirked. After talking to Naruto, he understood that Kakashi was just too focused on Sasuke.

That made sense considering the Uchiha clan was dead, and Kakashi’s best friend and hero was Obito.

Kakashi couldn’t help but look away. After all, he did favor Sasuke by teaching him Chidori and ignoring Sakura.

As for Naruto, he didn’t think much. After all, Naruto did reject his training and went on to train by himself.

”By the way, you should form your own Shadow Guards. Do you have anyone in mind?”

Shikaku asked.

Naruto nodded.

”Yeah, but let’s wait for a year.”

Shikaku didn’t continue on this topic; instead, they started talking about another topic.

Manpower!

Konoha was currently stretched thin. To preserve their fame, they had been doing tasks everywhere.

Konoha barely had any ninjas left to protect. Fortunately, with Naruto as a Hokage, there wouldn’t be any problem.

But they still needed to increase the number of manpower. So, Shikaku wanted to ask if Naruto needed some help with his plan.

Naruto shook his head and said.

”No, let’s get straight into that! I was about to show you something but forgot about it due to these papers.”

Naruto stood up and walked to the side. He made a few hand signs and slapped the ground.

[Summoning]

A coffin slowly rose from the ground, and the door fell in front.

”Recently, I felt my soul was pulled out of Shinigami’s stomach. Who are you, and why did you summon me?”

A cold voice rang in the room as the Second Hokage slowly walked out.

Unlike the last time, there was nothing controlling him, so he didn’t try to fight back; instead, he looked at Shikaku, Kakashi, and finally the third presence.

Naruto!

Suddenly, his Chakra was leaked.

”Calm down, Second Hokage!”

That Chakra was so intense that it made the papers fly everywhere, and even Kakashi and Shikaku were sent back.

A group of Anbu tried to enter, but they were forced back by the Second Hokage’s Chakra. Only when Naruto released his own, that Chakra was suppressed.

More importantly, Naruto’s Chakra caused an even more intense reaction than his.

”I’m sorry. Your strength made me cautious. Who are you?”

The Second Hokage looked deeply at Naruto. He still couldn’t believe Naruto’s Chakra Quality had surpassed that of Hashirama.

The reserves were low because Kurama was doing his thing, but the quality was present.

It was bright yellow, so bright that it almost blinded his senses.

Shikaku’s eyes widened in shock.

’Naruto’s Chakra can alone make the Second Hokage so alert already. This definitely is not because of the Nine-Tails.’

’It seems like there is a hidden secret behind Naruto.’
