50 Chapter 50: Daimyo’s Idea 2026-10-25

”Daimyo-sama!”

Shikaku bowed in front of Daimyo and approached him.

”Uhh.....You are Shikaku, right?” Daimyo asked, albeit unsure.

”Yes, Daimyo-sama! I am sorry for arriving late, but you should be safe with Naruto.”

Shikaku replied.

”Ah, yes, yes! Naruto is quite a capable ninja. Not a single enemy was able to approach me.”

Daimyo nodded.

”But, Daimyo, let us take you to the safe house!” Shikaku requested.

”Huh? Naruto is already here. Why would I need your help?” Daimyo looked confused as he pointed at Naruto.

”Because Daimyo-sama, Shadow Clone works by splitting the chakra in half.”

”While it will not deteriorate one’s skill and physical strength, it does decrease their fighting capacity.”

”Right now, Naruto’s strength is very much needed elsewhere. With his speed and one-hit Jutsu, he is capable of taking down the entire army by himself.”

”Besides, his main body should be inside the arena, fighting the Jinchuriki of the Sand Village, am I right, Naruto?”

Naruto nodded.

”After all, except for a Kage Level Shinobi, others simply can’t fight a Tailed Beast by themselves.”

”Oh, does that mean Naruto is already a Kage-Level Shinobi?” Daimyo looked excited when he asked that.

Before Shikaku could reply, Naruto answered.

”Yes, Daimyo-sama! With Nine-Tails power, I am much stronger than a normal Kage-level Shinobi.”

”Even without it, I have trained in Sage Mode, which my father was unable to use due to his low-chakra reserve, so I can reach the level of an Elite Jonin.”

When he said that, Shikaku could absolute stunned.

”Yo-you’ve already mastered Sage Mode?”

”Sage Mode, what is it?” Daimyo asked.

One of the ministers spoke.

”Sir, one of the Sannin, Jiraiya-dono, is also known as Sage. Fourth Hokage is his disciple, and Naruto has inherited everything from fourth Hokage.”

”So, it should be a special kind of power like Kyubi’s Chakra that can increase one’s strength.”

Shikaku nodded.

”Yes, Daimyo! With Sage Mode alone, a shinobi can reach a Kage-level even if that person isn’t a Kage-level shinobi.”

”The only reason why Naruto considers himself an Elite Jonin is simply that it has only been a month since he has trained with those powers.”

”Before that, he was just a Genin.”

Hearing that, Daimyo clapped his hands and said.

”Then, Naruto-kun, you should leave and defeat all of the invading forces.”

”Yes, Daimyo-sama!”

Without much hesitation, Naruto released his Shadow Clones.

”Shikaku, do you think Hiruzen can survive this battle?” Daimyo asked.

Shikaku’s pupils dilated as he asked.

”Lord, do you not trust Lord Hokage’s strength?”

Daimyo shook his head as he said.

”No, of course not! But he is old. Fourteen years ago, when he made Minato Hokage, he was already getting older.”

”It’s a pity that Minato left too soon but he left behind a legacy inside his son.”

Hearing that, Shikaku replied.

”But Lord, Konoha hasn’t fallen so low that it needs a twelve-year-old to take the burden of the Hokage.”

”There are still two of the Sannin who can take on that role. There is also Kakashi Hatake, the son of the White Fang and disciple of the Fourth Hokage.”

”By no means, it is Naruto’s turn to take the mantle of the Hokage.”

”Then, where are they?”

Daimyo asked.

This instantly stumped Shikaku.

Yeah, where are Sannin?

”Jiraiya and Tsunade are both capable ninjas, but Tsunade left the village during the Third Great Ninja War.”

”And, Jiraiya is absent when Konoha is invaded by Suna-nin. And, Kakashi, can he defeat the Jinchuriki of the Sand?”

Daimyo asked.

This made Shikaku pause.

Yeah, both of the Sannin were gone. Kakashi was a strong ninja, but not enough as a Kage.

Currently, only Naruto has the power to take that role.

Oh, there is also Danzo, but nobody wanted him to take the role of the Hokage.

Daimyo looked at Shikaku and said.

”After this battle, there could be a new war. Look around you, Shikaku, who else could be more worthy of the title of the Hokage?”

Shikaku paused for a long time before saying.

”Daimyo-sama, your idea is indeed right.”

His words brought a smile to Daimyo’s face. It was just a whim, but when that whim took place, Daimyo decided to make Naruto the Hokage.

Would other nations laugh at Naruto for making a twelve-year-old shinobi a Hokage?

Yes, but if this person had inherited the knowledge and experience of the Fourth Hokage, then age didn’t matter.

At this moment, Inoichi, Choza, and other ministers were sweating.

The Third Hokage wasn’t even dead, but these two were already talking about the Fifth Hokage.

And, the topic of their discussion was a twelve-year-old kid.

It didn’t make sense at all.

.......

Near the Hokage’s Office,

Naruto’s real body had the transformation Jutsu and turned into Danzo. Unlike normal Transformation, his Transformation Jutsu was spot on.

Just when he was about to move, he received the information about his clone, and a corner of his mouth rose.

Because of Danzo’s face, that smirk looked quite evil.

”Lord Danzo, is there any good news?”

One of the shinobi behind him, wearing a mask, spoke in a low voice.

”Yes, Fu! Daimyo has been convinced. Now, we just need to take care of my old friends.”

Saying so, Danzo strode towards the Hokage’s tower. At this moment, there was an invisible body near the Hokage’s tower.

This invisible man quickly followed after Danzo and his men.

Inside the Hokage’s tower, the elders were busy, giving orders to Anbu.

They were also protecting the Hokage’s tower from enemy ninjas.

”Danzo, you are finally here. You need to go and support Hiruzen.”

When Koharu saw Danzo, her face showed a beaming smile as she spoke.

”Yes, indeed! Hiruzen has gotten old. Now, he can’t even put up a good fight against his apprentice.”

”I told him long ago he shouldn’t have let Orochimaru leave the village alive, but he was too soft.”

Koharu raised her hand and said.

”Danzo, we can talk about this later. Right now, we need your strength to defeat Orochimaru.”

”Then what? Let Jiraiya or Tsunade take over the role of the Hokage?”
