50 Chapter 50: Daimyo’s Idea 2026-10-25

At this moment, Third Hokage knew he fucked up.

Naruto knew the truth, and he learned it from his parents. More importantly, Naruto also realized that he couldn’t accept the truth.

So, he didn’t talk about them with him.

As for why he didn’t doubt Naruto. It was simple. He had seen Mito Uzumaki use pure Nine-Tails Chakra.

He had no sense of malice in Nine-Tails Chakra inside Hinata, so that could only mean one thing.

Someone pulled out Nine Tails pure Chakra. He didn’t think Naruto had the strength to do that.

He didn’t think Fox would be kind enough to give Naruto that kind of Chakra.

So, the only explanation matched what Naruto said.

”You are so amazing, Brother Neji. If I put away this Chakra and fight you without it, someone will be sad.”

”But I don’t want to fight you with an unfair advantage. So, I forfeit.”

Before the Third Hokage could ask anything, he heard Hinata forfeiting from the battle as she bowed towards Neji and left.

The orange Chakra Cloak slowly resided inside Hinata’s body, while others who knew about Naruto being Jinchuriki couldn’t help but look at him.

But they couldn’t understand how Naruto passed Nine-Tails Chakra into Hinata, and more importantly, it kept healing her wounds.

According to Neji, if she used this Chakra offensively, she could also increase her strength.

They found that they suddenly didn’t understand the power of Jinchuriki, but with Third Hokage by his side, nobody said anything.

They were waiting for the Third Hokage’s response, but he simply walked away.

He didn’t ask any questions. He didn’t raise any doubts. He heard what he needed to hear and left.

At the same time, he was glad.

Glad that Naruto understood the consequences of going berserk and chose not to talk about his parents.

At this moment, Naruto looked at Neji and said.

”Hey, you said losers will always be losers, right?”

Hearing that familiar voice, Neji turned around and looked at Naruto with resentment.

Seeing others’ reactions, he would be an idiot not to figure out that Chakra was related to Naruto.

Naruto looked him into his eyes and said.

”In the finals, I will prove to you that losers can change. Without using this power, I will defeat you.”

Without using that power, it would be a proper battle.

A battle between a genius and a loser.

Neji saw the seriousness in his eyes and said.

”Then, I will prove you wrong.”

Saying so, he walked away.

Soon, the next battle starts as the names appear on the screen.

[Gaara Versus Rock Lee]

This instantly made Lee excited for his battle as Guy started giving him instructions.

Gaara used his Sand Flicker Jutsu and appeared on the podium, while Lee jumped straight to the podium.

As both of them faced each other, Lee said.

”To face you this early, I couldn’t be happier.”

Gaara had that blank expression on his face, but he couldn’t help but snort.

As everyone’s eyes were on Gaara and Lee, Hinata slowly walked in from behind.

”Ano.....Na..Na...Naruto-kun!”

Her voice was so soft that if Naruto didn’t have recently awakened Hinata radar, he wouldn’t even hear her, considering how focused he was on Lee’s match.

”Hinata!”

But when he heard her, he immediately turned around and said.

”Good job with your match!”

”Naruto-kun, thank you!”

Hinata lowered her head as she thanked him, but Naruto hurriedly raised her head and said.

”There is no need to say thank you between us.”

’No...need to say thank you..... Between.....Between US!’

Hinata repeated those words in her brain as it instantly froze while processing them.

Suddenly, her CPU started steaming as it couldn’t process the information and got jammed immediately.

Because of the jam, it had no choice but to restart.

Thud!

Without any warning, Hinata fell on her back. Fortunately, Naruto caught her head before it hit the ground.

”Hinata!”

Naruto anxiously shouted.

”Damn it! The battle has started. Can you two go away?”

Kankuro looked at Naruto and Hinata holding each other with Hinata passing out on his arms, and shouted.

He couldn’t understand how Leaf Village ninjas could talk so much during such an important event.

On the other hand, Kakashi and Kurenai were watching it from the sidelines, smiling.

Sakura was surprised, but she was also smiling, while Sasuke only snorted and looked away.

At this moment, the battle between Lee and Gaara started. Their battle started with Lee launching a powerful spinning kick to Gaara.

But Gaara easily blocked it using his sand, without even raising his hand.

Just when his sand was about to attack Lee, he managed to roll himself in mid-air and dodge the attack, landing far away from Gaara.

Although he tried another attack as he ran behind him and tried punching him with all of his strength, Gaara’s sand still blocked him quite easily.

Lee managed to kick the sand away and use the momentum to back away from Gaara.

As he landed, Lee thought to himself.

’This isn’t going to be easy. I can’t even make him move. I need to find something.’

”The attacks aren’t working. He is not touching Gaara.” Naruto had managed to pass Hinata to Kurenai’s arms before walking back to watch the battle.

When he saw Lee struggling against Gaara, he couldn’t help but feel pity for Lee.

This man was the most hard working man in the world, but he never truly got what he wanted.

That being said, Lee did prove that one without any talent could still achieve something through nothing but hard training.

Even if they couldn’t use Genjutsu or Ninjutsu.

”All physical attacks are useless against him. Because, regardless of Gaara’s Will, the sand becomes a shield and protects him.”

”That’s why up to now, there’s never been a single person who’s even put a scratch on Gaara.”

As he said that, Naruto suddenly paused and said. ℯ

”Do you know? Unless you can become friends with beasts, they will never protect you.”
