Pregnant During An Apocalypse [BL]

Chapter 34: Chapter 34 - Contributions

Yunfeng grinned slightly after sending that message. In fact, he really wanted to send it back to him. But right now, he was in dire need of money. ”Let’s think of it as a loan. I’ll share my food reserve with him...”

He hurried to the online store to order things in bulk. Anything nonperishable and canned was bought. But when it came to the delivery address, he froze.

Their house couldn’t be the storage area. After all, he planned on moving, but right now, he didn’t have any money to rent another place.

Yunfeng searched for warehouses close to him. There was one on the outskirts of the town, but the rent was exorbitant.

Biting his lips, he peered at the empty address section. ”Where else can I send them?... I can send it to Jai’s house.”

With a grin, he quickly purchased everything he had kept in the cart and sent it to the warehouse.

”The goods will be here in ten days~” he happily plopped back on the bed.

It was all thanks to that annoying guy Muchen.

He took him off the bucket list. ”Thank you for your contribution~ I’ll eat well with it,” he sent a voice message.

”You brat, why do you keep blocking me?!” the voice reply came quickly.

Yunfeng grinned widely. ”I heard you were sick. How do you still have the energy to talk loudly, ah?”

The reply was instantaneous. ”I got all better thanks to a certain ’fan’s visit.” His tone playful.

Yunfeng plopped his head on the pillow. ”He definitely saw me... I shouldn’t have gone there...” he was slightly tempted to block him again.

”How is your arm?” Muchen’s voice came softly.

Yunfeng peered at his phone with a slight blush on his face. He did not even know why, but every time this guy said something, his heart would pound. Only this person had a reaction from him like this. ”Being an omega is difficult, ah...”

”What? You’re not going to speak? Going to block me again? Don’t you dare? I’ll send my fans to your house and harass you.”

A smile bloomed on his lips without his realization. ”I know you bully,” he sent in the voice message.

”Who? Who is bullying you?” His sister barged into the room with a frown. ”Only I’m allowed to bully you,” she dashed to pluck the phone out of his hand. Without even looking at the contact, she called the number.

”Hana! What the hell? Give it here!” he ran to her, but she ran around the room with a serious look on her face. ”Yo, who is this? Why do you bully my brother? Ah! He is crying! His face is all red because of you!”

Yunfeng was mortified and in shock. ”Oh, my fucking lord. Just give the phone, will you!” He jumped over the bed to take the phone.

But Hana was too quick. She escaped with ease. ”Aren’t you going to talk, you wimp?”

”Umm... I’m not actually bullying your brother. Ahem... We... we can be called friends...”

Hana frowned, gazing at the phone. That voice was familiar. Too familiar. ”Your voice is nice. Are you a voice actor? Where have I heard you before?”

”Hana!” Yunfeng plucked the phone out of her hand. ”Get out of here. Go.” He pushed her out.

”Ya, if someone is bullying you, tell me. I’ll deal with them. You were always such a soft-hearted guy.” She shouted from outside the door.

Yunfeng leaned against the door with a loud sigh.

”Oh, our Yunfeng is so weak. Yes, he needs protection,” the annoying person said in a playful tone.

”Shut up.” He was slightly tempted to cut the call. ”H-how is your health?”

”Good. I will get the test results in two days. Until then, I can chill around here...” There was a soft sigh from the other side. ”Will I look good without hair?”

”You’ll look like an egg,” Yunfeng said with a chuckle.

”Probably, but I think I’ll look good. I have a good head shape... Fuck, who am I kidding? I’d probably look like a monk.”

Yunfeng threw his head back, laughing. ”Beware, people might ask you for Buddhist scriptures...”

”Shut up.” Muchen laughed softly. ”How is your arm?”

Yunfeng rolled his shoulder around. The wound had healed completely, but he still kept the cast to avoid any suspicion. ”It’s good.”

”Don’t try to act all macho and lift things with that arm. Take a few days off your part-time. That guy is fucking rude as hell.”

Yunfeng’s eyes softened slightly. He hugged the pillow tightly to his chest. ”Why do you care?”

”I’m the reason you were shot. Of course, I have to take responsibility for it.” Yunfeng cleared his throat. ”And... don’t get drunk.”

Yunfeng confusedly looked around. ”Why would I drink?”

”I’m just saying. Don’t get drunk. Not in front of anyone.”

”Why not?”

”Just don’t.”

”Why?” Yunfeng pinched the pillow tightly.

”Won’t you ever listen to me?”

”No,” he grinned widely. ”I will never listen.”

Muchen sighed loudly. ”Just don’t get drunk in front of anyone. You are a weak boy. They might take advantage of you.”

”Where did this come from?”

”Just saying.” Muchen cleared his throat loudly. ”I’m going. Take care of yourself. Eat well. You have fifty thousand for that,” saying this, he cut the call.

Yunfeng pouted. ”But I spent it all...”

Yes, he spent all fifty thousand dollars buying food supplies and medical supplies. Since he ordered in bulk, he had to lie that he was starting a shop for the warehouse to even send the supplies.

He gazed at his bank balance. There were only a few dollars left. ”I’m broke again.”
