Pregnant During An Apocalypse [BL]

Chapter 33: Chapter 33 - Spoiling my Fan

”You think recording our conversations is going to give you enough proof? I never said anything explicitly...” With a victorious grin, she plucked the phone from him.

Muchen shrugged. ”Just look at it, will you?”

With a grin, she gazed at the phone screen. But soon her grin fell. Her whole body started to tremble.

”How do you like that? Who told you to administer my company in such a shitty way, huh? You guys embezzled so much money and evaded tax for so many years. You thought there wouldn’t be any record if you didn’t keep any accounts of it? Tsk tsk,” he clicked his tongue. ”It’s too naive of you, aunty. Why do you think I entered the entertainment industry when I could have started my own business and earned a ton of money?”

Her furious eyes fell on him.

”I wanted little henchmen. What better way to get them than to get a few million blind fans? You underestimated the power of young women. They would do a lot to get a signed photo from me,” he happily chuckled. ”I had to throw a few kisses here and there, and they were willing to give me all of your company’s dirtiest secrets.”

”You! The company is registered under your name. It’s... they will arrest you too.”

”Oh, when was this? I was already removed from the board of directors.”

She paled visibly. ”W-when...”

”Your son did that. Thank God he’s not that smart.” He giggled, watching her sophisticated face scrunch up like an old sponge.

”Ohh~ now is the time to sweat.” He grinned widely. ”Say, is orange your color? I believe you will look good in it. So good that a few of the prison inhabitants will love to pay attention to you~”

”AHHHH!!!” She threw the phone at his face. ”DIE!”

Swiftly, he dodged it. ”Wow, murder attempt. You’ll get extra years for that, you know.”

The doctors and nurses heard the commotion and called security, and right outside the door, she was arrested in front of hundreds of Muchen fans.

Muchen watched this from the window with a bright grin. ”He could have stayed a while. He would have loved to watch this spectacle...” he whispered softly.

”Who?” Shao handed him a glass of water.

”No one.” Muchen gulped it down. ”Did you arrange that fake lottery yet?”

Shao rolled his eyes and plopped down on the sofa. ”Yeah, yeah, I had to do a lot of shitty things for you lately.”

”Cancel it,” Muchen walked back to his bed and laid down.

”W-what? But I already arranged it. I even chose the winning number. Chen, why are you calling it off now!” He nudged him.

Muchen pulled the bed sheet over his head. ”I plan to deal with him myself. After all, he wants my attention.” He blushed right after saying so.

”Not only my attention... that guy...”

Just remembering that day he was shot... Muchen got tingles. He could not stop the butterflies in his stomach.

He picked up his phone and covered his head once again. ”Don’t disturb me. Scram.”

”Meanie. I’m your best friend, huh. I’ve been working without sleep for a day and this is how you treat me...” Shao shook him. ”Come on, show your face, you meanie.”

”Go sleep. You look ugly and smell disgusting.”

Shao pouted. ”Fine! I’m taking my vacation holidays. Don’t you dare call me for ten days! If you do, I will quit! You ungrateful guy!”

Muchen grinned. ”Enjoy your vacation.”

Shao hit him with an apple and ran out of the ward.

Left alone, Muchen freely started to message Yunfeng.

But none of his messages seemed to go through.

”He really blocked me... what an attention seeker.” Grinning, he opened the bank app and transferred ten thousand dollars to his account.

Yunfeng, who was chilling in his bedroom, suddenly received a ton of money from an unknown account.

”Huh, what is this? Did someone transfer it to the wrong number?” He hurriedly sent a message to that number, asking if they had sent the money by mistake.

But seconds later, that person transferred money to his account again, but this time the amount was doubled.

”What the—” Yunfeng shot up.

The amount was followed by a simple message. ”For visiting me.”

”Who? Is this some rich sugar daddy...” Yunfeng scratched his head, trying to think of a reason why someone would even send this exorbitant amount. Suddenly, a handsome face came to mind.

He rolled his eyes. ”Muchen... he really saw me...”

Gritting his teeth, he glared at his phone. ”Why isn’t he resting? He really likes messing with me, doesn’t he?”

He sent the money back.

But once again, that annoying person transferred fifty thousand dollars with a smiley attached.

”Oh my God. Why is he so annoying?” He hurriedly called the number he had blocked before. ”Are you crazy? Or did they dope you so much that you are high right now?”

”I’m well and good, thank you for asking.”

Yunfeng scoffed. ”Then why did you send me money again?”

”It’s because you came to my fan meet. I planned on sending one of my fans some money for their effort. Looks like you are also my fan. Go ahead and buy coffee for yourself, my dear fan. You sat in the sun for so long. Make sure you are hydrated enough.”

”I’m not your fan.”

”Lying is useless, little brat. I know...”

Yunfeng just gaped at his phone. ”Have you gone crazy? Who is your fan, huh?”

”You.” Muchen laughed softly.

Just hearing his soft tone made Yunfeng melt slightly. Biting his lips, he gazed at his own reflection. His face was flushed, and his eyes were slightly watery. ’Why do I look like this every time I talk to him? He’s just an alpha... yet...’ he sighed softly. ”I don’t want your money.”

”It’s for my dear fan who stood in the sun waiting for me to get my operation.” Muchen softly whispered.

Yunfeng scowled. ”So, this is how you’re going to play.”

”Fine,” he cut the call with a grin.

Muchen waited for the young brat to send the money back to him to continue playing the cat-and-mouse game, but even after an hour, he didn’t get anything back.

”Hello? Did you really take the money?”

”It’s food money now. Bye.” Was the only reply he got before he was blocked again.

Muchen gaped at his phone. ”This brat. He is so spoiled... Just you wait. I’ll get out of here and whoop your ass.”
