The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1598: Chapter 1598: Nathalie Quinlan Isn’t Really a Genius—Perhaps There Are No Geniuses Left

Nathalie opened her mouth.

She hadn’t yet had the chance to speak.

Jeremiah, when it came to treating others, was exceptionally insistent: ”Don’t be all polite with me. Being polite means you don’t consider me a friend. It’s settled then; I’ll make plans with you when you’re free.”

Having said that, what more could Nathalie say? Continuing would just make her seem overly courteous!

Nathalie herself wasn’t one to fuss over such things, so she nodded, her bright eyes looking at him, and softly said, ”Alright.”

”I’m free all this month. I’ll let you know in advance what time,” Nathalie thought for a moment and said.

She still wasn’t sure whether to agree to Shawn Norton’s invitation to Inderia.

But even if she agreed to go to Inderia with Shawn, there’s still a month left, and she didn’t have any other plans.

Now, well, she had one more thing to do.

She might need to find time to go back to McKinney.

Jeremiah also thought seriously for a moment, and said to her, ”Next week perhaps, this week Carmen Radcliff went back home; an elder in his family is celebrating a birthday, so he took a week off.”

Nathalie acknowledged him, checked the time, and then said a word to Jeremiah before leaving.

The girl’s back was upright, cold, and cool, leaving a deep impression.

After Nathalie left, the Bonnete family’s old butler couldn’t help but say to Jeremiah, ”Young Master, is this Ms. Quinlan Mr. Yancey’s girlfriend? You mentioned that Mr. Yancey earlier, could he be that person from the Yancey Family...”

This news was even more surprising than his earlier misconception.

”This girl looks quite ordinary. The Yancey family’s stature is higher than our family’s, she... probably wouldn’t catch Mr. Yancey’s eye!”

At the pinnacle of the Pyramid in Beijing are just those few families, but not everyone is on the same level.

The Yancey family’s status is higher than the Bonnete family.

Previously, he thought the young girl was young and pretty, and considering the age of their young master... that’s at least some bonus points.

But that Mr. Yancey, countless socialites in Beijing are trying to get a chance to be connected to him without success; Mr. Yancey’s age, ability, wrist, appearance... every aspect is far stronger than their young master. Worth praising with ’young and promising’!

He thought Mr. Yancey would, at the very least, be paired with a Beijing socialite. Even if not, at worst, someone like Caryn Zachmann.

Who would have thought he had found a girlfriend who seemed to dress quite ordinarily, and didn’t give off the vibe of those socialite ladies he usually sees.

Jeremiah glanced at him, seemingly aware of what he was thinking, chuckled softly, breaking the old butler’s train of thought, and said, meaningful and profound: ”Apart from Amadeus Yancey, who else is there in the Yancey family? It’s Amadeus Yancey.”

”She’s really Mr. Yancey’s girlfriend?” The old butler showed an even more surprised expression, unable to accept it for a moment.

Jeremiah looked at his surprised expression and lightly remarked: ”Since when did you start judging people by appearances? Just because you think someone is ordinary doesn’t mean they really are. I could tell you all about it, but you wouldn’t understand - Google the name Nathalie Quinlan yourself and you’ll see.”

This year’s top scorer in the college entrance examination, world software competition first prize winner, Tsinghua University’s exceptionally admitted genius student, Mr. Avalon’s and Mr. Norton’s student, musical prodigy Lighten Chaser...

Just a casual search on Google will reveal the aura of genius behind every achievement.

And then there’s the identity you won’t find online—Red Alliance’s Sun.

If Nathalie Quinlan is considered ’ordinary,’ then there probably isn’t a genius in the world.
