The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1591: Chapter 1591: Nathalie: You Seem Pretty Free

In Bauhinia Lane outside the Zachmann Family villa, a black SUV was quietly parked under the old banyan tree, its shadow perfectly concealing the rugged outline of the vehicle.

Amadeus Yancey saw the girl walking out from the villa, snuffed out the cigarette in his hand, his brows and eyes relaxed. He reached out to switch on the air conditioner, then opened the car door to let the air circulate and disperse the lingering smell of smoke inside.

Just then, Nathalie Quinlan came over, reached out to open the passenger car door, and deftly got in, closing the door: ”Sorry to keep you waiting.”

Amadeus Yancey noticed her indifferent and calm demeanor, raised an eyebrow, picked up a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to her, asking, ”How did things go?”

Nathalie Quinlan naturally reached out to take the bottle, her fair fingers wrapped around the mineral water, her mood seemed rather ordinary, speaking somewhat irritably: ”Just like that.”

She paused again, her brows tinged with annoyance, took a sip of water, then absentmindedly screwed the cap back on, placed the bottle beside her, her arm resting on the car window, her sitting posture rather casual: ”After all, they are from the Zachmann Family. Even if I don’t respect them, I have to show some respect to the family, I can’t do anything to them.”

You have to consider the owner when handling a dog.

Caryn Zachmann is indeed quite bothersome, but she is Audrick Zachmann’s biological sister, her father’s niece, Mr. Zachmann’s granddaughter...

With such blood ties involved, it’s impossible for her to act completely without reservations.

Nathalie Quinlan paused for a second, just a second.

Then she lifted her eyelids, her jet-black pupils clear and cold, with a vague rebelliousness hidden in those chilly eyes, and said slowly: ”But I guess she learned her lesson this time, and she’ll weigh her actions carefully before causing trouble in the future!”

The girl exuded a rebellious and bold energy all around.

Quite attention-grabbing!

Amadeus Yancey partially closed his deep and dark eyes, carefully fastened her seatbelt, then settled back in his position, curling his lips, asking: ”Where do we go next?”

The faint nylon perfume on the man approached and then moved away.

Nathalie Quinlan’s calm heart rippled gently, feeling somewhat stirred by him, so she discreetly reached out to lower the temperature of the car’s air conditioner: ”Mr. Bonette just called me saying he’s back in Beijing. I need to first return to Rhine to grab something, then head to his place.”

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes darkened slightly, knowing exactly what she was going back for.

Nathalie was going back to get the black box from Lynette Kingsley’s airplane disaster.

He turned the car keys, started the car, and naturally said: ”I’ll drive you over.”

”...” Nathalie Quinlan tilted her head, couldn’t help but glance at him.

Amadeus Yancey calmly gazed back at her, looking quite composed, meeting her eyes, ambiguously asking: ”What’s wrong?”

”Nothing.”

Nathalie Quinlan retracted her gaze.

But the next second, she still couldn’t help herself, and glanced over again, staring deeply at him: ”Have you, not been working lately?”

He seemed pretty idle!

Amadeus Yancey was initially stunned, then quickly understood what she meant, couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, lazily replying: ”I do work, got lots to do, pretty busy.”

Nathalie Quinlan was even more puzzled, her curiosity restrained, spoke slowly: ”...Really? Pardon my poor observation, couldn’t really tell.”

Amadeus Yancey suddenly pulled the car to the roadside, then looked over, his eyes heated as he watched her, slightly curling his lips, seemingly leisurely and noble, but in reality, with the slightly open collar and an alluring presence: ”What choice do I have? I’m busy, and my girlfriend is busier than I am. If I don’t take the initiative a bit, I won’t even get to see her face all day.”
