Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 824: Chapter 824: I Didn’t Use My Hands, Only My Feet

”Which blind bastard dares to meddle in my affairs!” The little fatty stumbled, almost fell face-first, and cursed as he steadied himself and turned his head.

”Oh, isn’t this Yunyun, my little sister?” Instantly, the little fatty spotted Han Yunyun, and his eyes lit up.

”He Qingwei, it’s you!” Han Yunyun only then recognized who the little fatty was, her face changing color.

He Qingwei? Someone from the He Family, one of the Eight Great Families of the Capital? Han Yan noticed Han Yunyun’s sudden change in expression and guessed.

”It’s been almost half a year since I last visited the Mu Family and saw Yunyun. I didn’t expect Yunyun to still remember me.” He Qingwei said with a smug grin.

”He Qingwei, why are you bullying people?” Although Han Yunyun was afraid of He Qingwei, her anger flared upon seeing the old man’s face imprinted with several fingers and the bruise on his forehead from the fall, and she questioned loudly.

”Why am I bullying people?” He Qingwei seemed caught off guard by Han Yunyun’s question, looking at her strangely.

”Hahahaha, does this little girl have a problem with her brain? Who are we? We’re playboys. Do we need a reason to bully people?” Then the skinny playboy snapped back to his senses and laughed heartily.

”That’s right, we’re playboys. It’s perfectly normal for us to bully people. Do we need a reason?” The little fatty finally came back to his senses and said indifferently.

Han Yan twitched at the corner of his mouth. Why did those words sound so familiar? They seemed like Lady Mu’s old catchphrases. Zirong and the others also looked at Han Yan with bizarre expressions. When Han Yan used to say it, they only felt satisfied, because back then, it was always them bullying some annoying people. But when those same words came out of the little fatty’s mouth, why did they feel so annoying?

Mu Yunyun, who usually stayed within the confines of the Mu Residence, knew these playboys were not good people but didn’t expect them to be so shameless—bullying others with such confidence left her momentarily stunned.

”It’s only been half a year, and little sister Yunyun has become more and more beautiful. Come, let brother give you a hug.” He Qingwei no longer bothered with the old man, spreading his arms as he walked towards Han Yunyun, exuding sleaziness with every step.

”What are you doing? Don’t come any closer, or I’ll shout for help.” Han Yunyun looked at the little fatty warily, assuming a defensive stance.

”Shout if you want; this isn’t the Mu Residence. I’d like to see who dares ruin my fun.” The little fatty simply disregarded Han Yunyun’s minimal cultivation, speaking with arrogance.

”Little sister, having Brother He fancy you is a blessing. Don’t miss this golden opportunity.”

”As long as you keep Brother He happy, he might even take you as a concubine, allowing you to enjoy endless wealth and glory. Isn’t that much better than your current life?” The others encircled Han Yunyun, their faces laden with sleazy smiles.

Seeing Han Yunyun dressed plainly, they guessed that this pretty little girl probably came from an ordinary background, making it easy to bully her without any qualms.

Seeing Han Yunyun surrounded by a bunch of little playboys, the surrounding vendors glared angrily.

”What are you looking at? Keep staring, and I’ll gouge out your eyes.” Feeling very irritated by the many heated glances, He Qingwei charged forward, kicking two vendors to the ground and flipping over nearby stalls.

Facing his rampage, the vendors were burning with anger but dared not speak up or even meet his gaze. They were mostly commoners, many not even from the Capital, so how could they dare provoke someone whose family background was undoubtedly extraordinary?

”Come on, little sister Yunyun, let brother give you a hug.” Witnessing the vendors’ wretchedness, He Qingwei felt even more emboldened, spreading his arms and lunging at Han Yunyun, who was surrounded by a group of lackeys.

Han Yunyun had never faced such a situation before, so it was impossible for her not to be anxious. Yet, she was not like other girls her age who would be scared to tears. Seeing He Qingwei reach out with his chubby arms, she slightly sidestepped, delivering a kick to his critical spot between the legs.

It must be admitted, although the little girl often showed deep disdain for Zirong’s character and martial arts, she had no reservations in learning them. This kick, Zirong’s life-saving skill in self-defense, was delivered with such a treacherous angle and fierce momentum that even though He Qingwei’s skills were far above hers, he couldn’t avoid it.

”Aww...” The little fatty let out a ghostly wail, collapsing on the ground like a prawn.

Han Yan smiled appreciatively. She hadn’t hurried to intervene because she wanted to see how Han Yunyun would handle the situation. Would she remain unyielding like before or submit to a stronger opponent? Thankfully, the girl didn’t let her down.

Seeing Han Yunyun’s unexpected kick, not only the group of playboys but also Huayue and others subconsciously squeezed their legs, cold sweat trickling down their backs.

”I taught my student well, didn’t I?” Zirong looked smugly at Huayue and Jiang Yuzhe, speaking in a low voice.

Both Huayue and Jiang Yuzhe didn’t respond, merely shooting him a disdainful glance and stepping a few paces away, pretending not to know him.

”You... you dare to attack!” The group of playboys never imagined that the petite young girl before them could be so ruthless, jolting them into fear. After a while, the skinny playboy pointed at Han Yunyun, stammering.

”I didn’t attack anyone. Did any of you see me attack? I clearly used my foot.” Han Yunyun’s successful kick bolstered her courage, and she spread her hands, feigning innocence.

Having spent ample time with Han Yan and witnessed many of her ”heroic” feats, the little girl admired her almost excessively. Unconsciously imitating Han Yan’s demeanor, her innocently cheeky expression had an uncanny resemblance to that of Big Playboy Mu.

”You little bitch, how dare you kick me!” He Qingwei, after regaining his breath due to his cultivation, stood up with a livid face and barked.

Only then did the group of playboys snap back to reality, baring their teeth and brandishing their claws as they lunged at Han Yunyun.

After landing a successful kick, Han Yunyun was full of fighting spirit. Seeing their approach, she remained calm, using the life-saving skills taught by Huayue, Zirong, and Jiang Yuzhe, punching and kicking as she fought them off.

Although the little girl had good potential and learned all the best skills from Huayue and the others, her foundation was still too shallow, soon finding herself in a precarious situation.

”Stop.” Han Yan only wanted to test Han Yunyun’s temperament, not push her into a life-or-death struggle. Seeing it all unfold, she moved her foot and arrived at Han Yunyun’s side; Huayue and others followed closely behind.
