Quick Transmigration: The Cannon Fodder's Comeback in the Era Tales

Chapter 192: Chapter 192: The Wronged Eldest Sister 6

”Mom, I’m so heartbroken, I didn’t expect you’d be this kind of mother. You used to say you loved me the most, that you cared for me the most, but all you did was to coax me into doing chores. You gave me nothing else.”

”So many household chores, and I’m the only one who does them. I never get good food or nice clothes; they’re all for my younger siblings. Every year at New Year’s, they have new clothes to wear. I’ve grown up never having worn a single new outfit, only your old clothes. Mom, I’m starting to doubt if I’m really your biological child. Why is there such a big difference between how you treat me and my siblings?”

Yuan Chun cried out with heart-wrenching accusation.

Mrs. Zhong, tearful with guilt, explained, ”Yuan Chun, it’s not like that, Mom loves you the most. It’s just that you’re the eldest sister, and your younger siblings are still young, you...”

”They’re not that young anymore! When Yuan Fen was my age, she was already picking up coal slag. I was washing clothes at five, cooking at six, and by eight you had thrown all the household chores onto me alone. I even had to take care of my siblings. Mom, you only need to stay in the room making matchboxes.”

”My younger sister is nine years old this year, yet I still wash even her underwear. Mom, you always say Guo Qiang and Guo Hao are boys, so they can’t do chores, but what about Yuan Fen? She’s also a girl. Why am I the only one doing chores while she doesn’t need to touch anything?”

”Mom, I’m so disappointed in you.”

Yuan Chun picked up the bowl, drank all the porridge, grabbed two buns and stuffed them in her pocket, then ran out crying.

The two buns were tossed into space; even if she wouldn’t eat them, she didn’t want them cheapened by a bunch of bloodsucking wolves.

”Yuan Chun, why are you crying? Did your mom scold you?”

Neighbor Grandma Cheng grabbed her and helped wipe her eyes. ”Don’t cry, what’s happened to make you cry like this?”

Yuan Chun cried with grievance, ”Grandma Cheng, I’m so wronged. I’ve wholeheartedly sacrificed for my family, but they just...”

Then, she poured out years of grievances from the original protagonist, saying everything.

The original protagonist wholeheartedly supported her family, even receiving unfair treatment at home, she never spoke about it externally. Occasionally, outsiders would call her silly, but she would just smile, thinking as the eldest sister, she should give more.

But Yuan Chun was different.

Four children in the family, why should she alone sacrifice while the other three just enjoy?

Yuan Chun blurted out everything about the Zhong Family.

As for whether Mr. Zhong and Mrs. Zhong would lose face—psh... she didn’t care.

Yuan Chun sobbed, ”Grandma Cheng, do you think I’m not my mom’s biological child? Otherwise, why would she exploit only me? Yuan Fen is nine, yet she hasn’t washed a single bowl. Guo Qiang and Guo Hao are big but haven’t held a broom. It’s all me doing the household chores. My mom only makes matchboxes but doesn’t do any household chores. Boo-hoo... I’m suffering so much.”

She cried as she spoke, ”I get up at four every day to cook porridge, then go to the smelting plant to pick up trash and coal slag. Sometimes when I come back, they don’t even leave a bit of porridge for me; I can only go hungry, wash the dishes, then go to school. At noon, I rush back to make lunch, and after class in the afternoon, I have to go to the smelting plant to pick up trash and coal slag again...”

”My mom asks me to buy groceries but doesn’t give me a penny. If I don’t pick up scrap iron from the trash heap, I won’t have money to buy groceries. Boo-hoo... I’m suffering so much. The money for the family’s food has to be earned by me alone. Boo-hoo... they don’t even let me eat it, I’m so disheartened.”

”My heart is so cold.”

”My mom says I’m the eldest sister, so I have to give way to my siblings. Boo-hoo, I’m the eldest sister, so I’m doomed to work like a horse every day serving my siblings, and taking care of them too?”
