Chapter 746: Chapter 739: Nangong Bing Hits Hard

Chapter 739: Nangong Bing Strikes Hard

”President, what’s done is done, you need to take care of your health.”

Zhao Xuemo was also not feeling great, especially after seeing the gruesome death of Director Hua, who was inexplicably stabbed to death.

This made all the executives at Tianyu Group feel personally endangered.

What was even more suspicious was that all members of Tianyu’s board collectively sold their shares to the Zhang Zheng duo, but Zhang Zheng didn’t show up today.

This couldn’t help but draw attention.

Just then, a pink Mini stopped at the hospital gate.

Huahua, with tears streaming down her face like pear blossoms in the rain, rushed inside.

Lin Zifeng and Liu Tangtang followed closely behind.

The whole hospital was now in chaos, as employees from Tianyu Group large and small hurried over upon hearing the news.

When Huahua pushed open the doors of the medical room, the tears that had filled her eyes all stopped.

She looked at the cold body covered by a white cloth in front of her.

She was completely stunned.

Her gulping throat also started to become somewhat dry.

She didn’t cry, but instead took step by step towards her daddy’s body, with unstoppable tears falling drop by drop down her cheeks.

As she wiped away her tears, she always felt that her tears just wouldn’t clear.

”Huahua!”

Nangong Bing called out to her with a hoarse throat. The little girl didn’t respond, and she said nothing.

She kept wiping her tears, silently choking, and slowly walked toward her daddy’s body. She didn’t dare to lift the white cloth, knelt in front of the body, and buried her head deeply into Hua Baijian’s embrace.

Her childish body kept sobbing and shaking.

Seeing all this, Nangong Bing was even more heartbroken.

She really wanted to comfort little Huahua.

But at this moment, she could very much understand Huahua’s feelings under these circumstances.

When her own father had left, hadn’t she felt the same?

”Daddy, get up. I know you’re just asleep, please get up. Don’t pretend to sleep. Huahua will be scared. Look at me, please get up.”

Huahua forcefully wiped away the tear stains on her face, trying her best to control herself from crying out loud.

But no matter how she called out, Hua Baijian would never wake up again.

Lin Zifeng was feeling very irate inside as well; he simply couldn’t understand why Hua Baijian had to be assassinated.

Even if there were issues with Tianyu’s stock ownership, it surely didn’t warrant assassination, did it?

At that moment, a grey Range Rover stopped outside the hospital gate.

Zhang Zheng suddenly appearing at this inappropriate occasion indeed aroused many people’s suspicions.

”You don’t need to look at me like that. I too regret Director Hua’s death. However, I must remind you once again today, with Director Hua’s passing, the five percent of shares that he held will inevitably fall into the board’s hands. After our unanimous decision, this five percent of shares should now be decided by the two of us. From now on, Nangong Bing, you can only hold half of Tianyu’s shares.”

”You two came here at this time just to talk to me about the division of shares?”

Nangong Bing suddenly turned her face, her gaze cold to the extreme, making even the Zhang directors shiver with chill.

Outside the hospital medical room, dozens of eyes all settled on Zhang Zheng.

Every department head present was a loyalist of Nangong Bing, and the arrival of Zhang Zheng had aroused everyone’s dissatisfaction.

Director Zheng chuckled and said, ”Nangong Bing, now that Director Hua has died, it’s an undeniable fact. According to the board’s decision, the two of us have the right to take back that five percent of shares.”

”Even if Director Hua has died, according to the law, the director’s shareholdings should rightly be inherited by his children. What right do you have to take back the shareholdings?”

Zhao Xuemo couldn’t endure it any longer.

She stepped forward and glared furiously at the two of them.

”Yes! You’re right, Director Hua has died, and his children can inherit the director’s shares, but I have here a statement from Director Hua before his death. It contains the handwritten proof of share transfer by Director Hua himself. I think this should have legal effect, don’t you?”

Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Director Zhang suddenly produced a document from his pocket.

Immediately, the faces of everyone present took on a very strange expression!

”How could Director Hua possibly have written such a document?!”

Someone began to raise doubts.

”Right! This is clearly a trap. Now that Director Hua is gone, you could forge anything you like.”

At this moment, there was some commotion in the crowd, it was clear that Zhang and Zheng were up to something.

”Whether it’s a trap or not, you can fully bring in an expert to verify the handwriting and see if it is really Director Hua’s own,” said Director Zhang, his eyes shone with greed, and he sneered.

But just as Director Zhang was about to put the document back into his pocket, a figure swiftly approached them, and the document was suddenly snatched away.

”You! What are you doing?!”

Zhang and Zheng were both shocked at the same time!

”This is nothing but a piece of scrap paper. Moreover, Director Hua was assassinated tonight, and without investigating the whole story, you dare to deceive everyone with a fake document? Aren’t you afraid of being struck by lightning?”

Lin Zifeng, holding the document between his fingers, tore it up into scraps in front of everyone present.

”You! What are you doing?!”

Zhang and Zheng were horrified; this was a signature they had obtained from Hua Baijian long ago, which they had struggled to combine into the document of today, only to be torn to shreds by this junior employee right in front of everyone!

”It’s just a piece of scrap paper.” After tearing up the document, Lin Zifeng coldly smiled and said to them firmly, ”Now that the scrap paper has been destroyed, it means that the document Director Zhang and Director Zheng just brought over is nothing but a joke. We can all act as if we’ve seen nothing.”

”You! You bastard! How dare you destroy the document? I, I’m going to sue you! I’m going to sue you all!”

Director Zhang’s face turned ashen, so furious that he even trembled as he spoke.

He pointed his finger directly at Lin Zifeng’s nose, nearly driven mad with rage.

”Sue me? How will you sue me? Did anyone see me destroy your document?” Lin Zifeng sneered repeatedly, stepping closer towards Director Zhang.

His face filled with a sunshine-like smile, but it only made Director Zhang feel even more desolate and woeful.

”What, what do you want?”

Director Zheng was also panicked; if Lin Zifeng were to hit him at this time, he estimated none of the people present would come to his aid.

”Nangong Bing! Is this the kind of assistant that you hire? I never imagined you would hire this kind of man as an assistant. He’s simply a thug! Like attracts like. You are utterly unfit to be the CEO!”

Director Zhang suddenly changed his expression and started to berate Nangong Bing fiercely.

The woman’s face was cold as ice, and the anger she had been suppressing was ready to burst out.

She casually walked up to Zhang and Zheng, her gaze icy as she looked at the two of them without a word.

But then, an unexpected scene that practically blinded everyone present unfolded!

Nangong Bing suddenly stretched out her slender, fair hands and grabbed Director Zhang by the neck.

Then, she delivered a heavy knee upwards.

With a bang, her knee struck Director Zhang square on the bridge of his nose.

Under his pig-slaughter-like wails, the woman grabbed Director Zhang’s hair and smashed his head against the wall with force.

Her movements were swift, simple, and decisive.

As everyone watched in shock, Nangong Bing dusted off her hands and looked coldly at the wailing Director Zhang on the ground, saying, ”You’re really too annoying. Even I couldn’t resist the urge to hit you!”

This scene happened in an instant.
