Chapter 724: Chapter 717: Nangong Bing Loses His Position

Chapter 717 Nangong Bing Ousted

Under Lin Zifeng’s coercion and temptation, Liu Qingtian also took a bold step, making a certain cooperation with Lin Zifeng...

The next morning.

Inside the CEO’s office of Tianyu Group, the entire company was almost in chaos at the moment, with employees of all levels from Tianyu Group standing tremblingly inside the CEO’s office.

Among them were many executives from various departments of the group!

Having just received a faxed email from Lin Zifeng, Nangong Bing had almost immediately summoned all the company’s executives.

At this moment, the CEO’s office was filled with an endless killing aura, and the coldness in the air nearly penetrated the bones of anyone present.

Even some of the more timid employees could feel their legs starting to tremble.

The woman known as the first queen of the Zhonghai business community, Nangong Bing, however, still calmly looked at the email on the computer screen.

This silent chill made Sun Xiaonao’s heart pound. She didn’t know why Nangong Bing had suddenly summoned so many people to the office, but from the intel she received yesterday, she had an inkling that something might be amiss.

At that moment, a few glimmers of softness passed over Nangong Bing’s beautiful and cold face as she slowly raised her head and scanned the faces of everyone present, including Sun Xiaonao!

Boom!

Sun Xiaonao’s heart skipped a beat, her enchanting eyes not daring to look directly at Nangong Bing.

”Today, I’ve called everyone here because there are some matters I’d like to discuss and consult with you all, of course!”

As she spoke, the woman’s cold and slender brows suddenly lifted.

Everyone lowered their heads, not daring to meet her gaze, for fear that the executioner queen would direct the knife towards any one of them.

”I have another matter to announce,” said the woman in a tone as decisive as a nail cut by a blade, making all the top department managers present feel a chill in their hearts.

But no one dared to step forward to question her as the trailblazer.

After saying this, Nangong Bing’s expression remained unchanged as she sat back down in her seat and picked up the freshly brewed cup of coffee from the rosewood desk.

Sipping gently, her gaze swept over the pallid faces of everyone present.

Sun Xiaonao gradually lowered her head, her palms sweaty, and her mind filled with doubts.

She had just called Director Zheng, and had no idea when that damn old man would arrive. If he didn’t come soon, Nangong Bing might very well start with her.

In the meantime, someone knocked on the door of the CEO’s office twice.

Before Nangong Bing could respond, the door to the CEO’s office was pushed open.

The person who entered was Director Zhang from the board of directors.

”President Nangong, I wonder why you have summoned such a crowd?”

Director Zhang was not at all intimidated by Nangong Bing’s presence; instead, his resolute face was full of disdain.

The man was tall and well-built with piercing black eyes that shone like stars, and his slicked-back hair was impeccably groomed.

A gray suit accentuated his impressive stature, and his sharp and arrogant gaze was unmistakable.

Following him were all the other board members arriving one after another.

Looking at the scene, it felt like a rebellion was underway.

”What do you mean by this, Director Zhang?” Nangong Bing’s cold eyes chilled further as she fixed her gaze on him like a block of ice.

”President Nangong, there are some things I must make clear to you today.”

Director Zhang glanced around at the various department managers, his gaze lingering on Sun Xiaonao for a few seconds before he said indifferently, ”Having unanimously consulted with the board, of the fifty percent of the shares you hold, half were under the old president’s control. Now that he has passed away, the half he controlled should be divided among us, the remaining directors.

As for you, President Nangong, the shares you currently hold are less than twenty-five percent!”

Nangong Bing’s face displayed a slight change as she said, ”Director Zhang, what are you trying to say?”

”President Nangong, we have discussed this matter for quite some time. It just so happens that the heads of so many departments are here, so there are some things at Tianyu that need to be made clear.”

At that moment, Director Zheng, who had been standing behind Director Zhang, stepped forward.

He continued with a smile, ”President Nangong, you are aware that when the old chairman was still around, twenty-five percent of Tianyu’s shares were under his control. Now that he has passed away, the remaining shares, I believe, should be redistributed among us board members according to the rules, right?”

”Redistributed? Heh, how so?” Nangong Bing’s beautiful face twisted into a cold smile, saying, ”My father’s fifty percent of shares in the Brazil subsidiary have already been inherited by the board members. Are you telling me that you, the board members, still want to divide up Tianyu’s shares?”

Nangong Bing suddenly understood. So these so-called directors had seized today’s opportunity to stage a coup!

And they were aiming for the shares her father held in Tianyu Group before his death.

Knowing that when her father Nangong Shui died, almost all of the shares in Brazil had been divided among these parasites, Nangong Bing had not complained back then.

Afterward, all of Nangong Shui’s shares in the Tianyu subsidiaries were also devoured step by step by these ruthless directors, and now, they even wanted to swallow the last bit of shares Nangong Shui had in Tianyu’s headquarters.

How could Nangong Bing not be enraged.

”President Nangong, I think you’re well aware, as everyone responsible for the departments is here, that now is the time to make things clear,” said Director Zheng with a sly chuckle, turning to all the managers present and gesturing, ”Since everyone is here, there are some things I must clarify right here.”

”Director Zheng! I hope you won’t push things too far!”

Nangong Bing’s expression changed dramatically, her beautiful eyes filled with lethal intent as she glared at him.

”President Nangong, since you are also here, why not clarify the situation to save us all some trouble later? Wouldn’t that be less of a hassle?”

Director Zhang sneered repeatedly.

When Sun Xiaonao was called to the president’s office just now, she immediately phoned Director Zheng. Since there was almost no news from Liu Qingtian last night, the suspicious Sun Xiaonao began to wonder if Liu Qingtian had already been exposed by Nangong Bing.

To be on the safe side, she decided to conspire with Director Zheng in advance to plan everything for today.

”Heh, I actually do want to hear Director Zhang’s esteemed opinion, that’s fine. Since all the senior executives from various groups and departments are present, it’s time to deal with the matter today.”

The woman’s face suddenly blossomed into a beautiful smile, so lovely that even Director Zhang and Director Zheng were somewhat at a loss.

The two exchanged a glance, revealing shocked expressions, uncertain of the meaning behind Nangong Bing’s fearless words.

”Good! Since President Nangong is also prepared, I won’t beat around the bush with everyone today. Let’s clear things up directly with President Nangong.”

Director Zhang took out a piece of paper from his pocket and said, ”This paper lists the opinions of every member of our board of directors. We are unanimous in the belief that it’s time for President Nangong Bing to step down!”

”What!!!”

Suddenly, all the department executives present erupted in turmoil.

”What? President Nangong to step down?”

”My God! What’s going on here? Isn’t this too sudden?”

Some were so surprised they even thought it was just a joke.

”What exactly is happening? How could this be?”

The executives from the various departments were all trembling with fear.

”Everyone, be quiet and let me finish speaking.”

Director Zhang waved his hand and continued, ”Perhaps everyone is shocked, even bewildered. How can the president’s position be so easily relinquished? However, the board has decided that for Tianyu to have a better future development, this time the presidential contender should rightly be succeeded by Director Zheng!”

”What! Director Zheng? What on earth is going on?”

Everyone felt their heads buzzing with confusion.

It was all too sudden, wasn’t it? Was it some kind of joke?

The president’s position was ironclad. Unless she stepped down willingly, who would dare to make Nangong Bing give up her position?

”You don’t have to be surprised. What Director Zhang just said is true. For the better development of Tianyu, although the mantle of presidential candidate has fallen upon me, I also feel sorry for President Nangong. After all, in the short span of one year since she took office, she has achieved such performance, which is an honor almost unprecedented in the entire Zhonghai!

However, according to the unanimous vote of the board of directors, it seems that President Nangong’s vote is far too lacking. So, I am somewhat regretful...”

Watching these old fellows play their games of deception, Nangong Bing still sat calmly in the president’s chair, coldly observing their performance.

”I wonder what President Nangong’s thoughts are now?”

After expressing his opinion, Director Zheng walked smilingly up to the woman.

”President Nangong, Tianyu’s presidential contender has always been chosen based on the size of their company shares. Now, you only have 25% of the company shares. I think it’s time for you to step down and yield your position, isn’t it?”

”Are you implying that you have more shares than I do?” Nangong Bing said with a laugh, not the least bit irritated by Director Zheng’s foolishness.

”That’s one way to understand it!” Director Zheng sneered.

Now that he had set his heart on retaking the position of president and chairman, the entire board of directors stood on his side. No one could stop his intention, unless Nangong Shui came back from the dead.

Seeing that the time was ripe, Sun Xiaonao, who had been standing in the crowd, suddenly stood out, raising her hand to the many department executives and said, ”That’s right! Director Zheng is correct, the company’s competition for the position of president and chairman has always been based on the size of one’s shares. Of course, the only reason President Nangong could hold her position is solely due to the old chairman’s will.

But now that the old chairman has passed, his shares must inevitably return to the board. With all the board members endorsing Director Zheng for the chairmanship, I think it’s only right and proper!”

Silly woman.

Nangong Bing shook her head; it was just as she had expected. This woman had a deep relationship with the board members, and it seemed this collective event was most likely related to her.

”President Nangong, did you understand what I just said?”

Sun Xiaonao suddenly turned around, her face showing a cold intent as she spoke.

”Sun Xiaonao, I must admit, you are quite capable, but you’ve put your energy in the wrong place. Did you really think you could take me down so naively?”

Nangong Bing stood up nonchalantly, her stunning face showing a hint of disdain as she pushed all the emails on the computer in front of Sun Xiaonao, speaking seriously, ”These are all the accounts you’ve overdrawn at the company over the years, and there are many questionable public funds. Any of these charges, I can make sure you never recover from!”

”You!!”

Sun Xiaonao’s face underwent a drastic change!!

Her pupils constricted violently, and she took two steps back, staring at Nangong Bing in shock.

”Heh, President Nangong, if you think you can use these childish anonymous emails to accuse someone, you’re really naive, aren’t you?”

Director Zheng glanced at the content on the computer screen and spoke disparagingly.

”What if I have solid evidence?!”

Just then, a familiar voice suddenly rang out from outside the president’s office.
