After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1199: Chapter 1203: The Wrong USB Drive

For Luo Xiaoqian, what happened just now was just a small interlude, and she certainly wouldn’t take it to heart.

If it really was her mistake, then it’s just their bad luck.

She doesn’t know who they are, nor does she have their contact information. The most she can do is to detour back to Russia and hand the USB drive to the airport for handling on her return.

Of course, this can only be done after she gets off the plane and contacts Leng Zimo to confirm it’s not his thing.

Shortly after Luo Xiaoqian’s flight took off, several assistants and bodyguards returned to the car, all empty-handed.

”Where is she?” The silver-haired man frowned slightly, with obvious displeasure in his tone.

”She transferred flights to Rome.” One of them answered dejectedly.

The silver-haired man’s face darkened, ”Call the people in Rome, keep an eye on her, prepare the plane, I’m flying to Rome immediately.”

The subordinates didn’t dare to delay and split up to take action at once.

Rome, Fiumicino Airport.

After Luo Xiaoqian and John got off the plane, they quickly met up with Selena, who came to meet them.

There’s a seven-hour time difference between the two places. At this time, Beijing was already deep into the night, while it was only afternoon in Rome.

As they rode to the hotel where they would be staying, Luo Xiaoqian already took out her phone and dialed Leng Zimo’s number.

”I’m basking in the Roman sunset right now,” Luo Xiaoqian looked at the view outside through the car window, ”What are you doing?”

”I just asked Mo Mo to go to the bathroom, now I’m in the bedroom, sleeplessly lonely!” Leng Zimo replied on the other end of the phone.

Luo Xiaoqian chuckled softly, ”So, what’s with the USB drive?”

”USB drive, what USB drive?!” Leng Zimo’s tone was puzzled.

”The black USB drive in my handbag, wasn’t it you who put it there?” Luo Xiaoqian pouted, ”So, it really was me who took the wrong one?”

”It really wasn’t me.” Leng Zimo’s tone became serious, ”Did something happen?”

”No, it’s just that when I was transferring flights in Russia, I bumped into someone, my handbag fell, and I might have accidentally packed their USB drive into my bag as well.” Luo Xiaoqian explained.

”Are you hurt?” Leng Zimo immediately inquired.

”No, I’m not made of mud, a bump won’t break me.” Luo Xiaoqian chuckled softly, ”It’s almost twelve o’clock in Beijing now, go to sleep early, I’m very safe here, Selena and John are with me. We’ll be at the hotel soon, I’ll call you again in the morning.”

”Okay, good night.”

”Good night!”

Luo Xiaoqian hung up the phone with a smile, then leaned back against the seat to relax, as sitting on a plane for more than ten hours had inevitably tired her.

She didn’t notice the black car that was trailing her car at a leisurely pace.

Soon, they arrived at the hotel.

Watching Luo Xiaoqian and others enter the hotel, the driver glanced at his watch and parked the car at the roadside.

Inside the hotel, Selena personally escorted her to the room, ”We’ll have a meal first, then you can go back to the hotel to rest, and we’ll start work tomorrow, alright?”

”I already ate on the plane and even slept for a few hours, I’m not hungry now. Just show me that short video!” Luo Xiaoqian directly took out her computer and placed it on the table.

Her husband and son were waiting at home, and now, she just wanted to finish the work quickly and go home.

Good afternoon...
