After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1197: Chapter 1201: Emerald Eyes Like the Shadowy Lake of Night Valley

”I miss you too!”

Replying with these four words, Luo Xiaoqian quickened her pace and walked forward, the sooner she left, the sooner she could return.

The airport was bustling with people coming and going. As she reached a corner, someone coincidentally came around from the other side. Luo Xiaoqian was just opening her handbag to put her phone inside and didn’t see the other person. The other person instinctively tried to dodge but still got bumped by her.

The other person was tall and strong, while Luo Xiaoqian was clearly at a disadvantage. Her bag slipped from her hand and hit the ground, and she too fell, sitting on the floor. The person opposite was carrying a briefcase, which also dropped, scattering the documents inside all over the ground.

”I’m sorry, really sorry!”

Luo Xiaoqian hurried to apologize and then swiftly stood up, gathering the scattered documents to put them back into the other person’s briefcase.

Before she could gather all the documents neatly, someone had already walked up and snatched the documents from her hands.

Luo Xiaoqian looked up in confusion, only to see a tall white man in front of her frowning as he took the documents from her hands and placed them back into the briefcase.

He didn’t apologize, nor did he thank her. Holding his briefcase, the man started to stride away, acting as if she didn’t exist at all.

Just now, it was indeed her walking too fast, but it couldn’t be entirely her fault for the collision. If the other person hadn’t been in such a hurry too, could he have knocked her down?

This was just too rude!

”Stop!”

Luo Xiaoqian stepped forward, blocking the man’s path.

”What are you doing?” the white man arrogantly glanced at her and questioned in English.

”Apologize to me.” Luo Xiaoqian slightly raised her chin, the pride in her tone no less than his.

The white man laughed dismissively and raised his hand intending to push her aside.

Before his hand could touch Luo Xiaoqian, a large black hand had already reached over and grabbed the white man’s hand.

”Apologize!”

John’s voice was laced with coldness.

Several men quickly rushed in from behind the white man, intending to challenge John.

”Stop.”

A low voice sounded, as someone slowly walked over from behind and stood in front of Luo Xiaoqian.

The person appeared to be in his thirties, a silver-gray suit wrapped around his tall frame, long ashen hair casually draping over his shoulders, and amidst the strands was an impossibly handsome face.

Underneath the light brown eyebrows was a pair of bright green eyes.

Those eyes were as transparent as emeralds, yet as deep as a midnight valley’s serene lake.

This kind of eye color was not often seen.

It wasn’t hard to see that this person was likely mixed-race, exuding a complex aura, radiating a noble elegance that was matched by a commanding presence, not in the least inferior to Leng Zimo.

While Luo Xiaoqian was sizing him up, the man had already given her a once-over, his gaze sweeping past John standing behind her. His thin lips parted and he faintly uttered two words.

”Apologize!”

”Did you hear that? My boss is telling you to apologize, nigger!” The white man restrained by John shouted loudly.

The silver-haired man frowned with displeasure, ”I meant you!”

The white man being restrained had a look of shock on his face. Feeling the gaze of the silver-haired man, his arrogance dissipated, ”I’m sorry!”

”For me as well as for him!” Luo Xiaoqian said coldly.

The white man glanced at John’s hand, which was close to crushing his wrist, ”I’m sorry!”

”John, let it go.” Luo Xiaoqian bent down to pick up her fallen belongings and stuffed them into her handbag, ”Let’s go!”

Pushing the man aside, John gave him a cold look, grabbed the luggage, and walked towards the transit area with Luo Xiaoqian.
