After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1196: Chapter 1200: Missing You the Moment We Part

The black Mercedes car stopped at Beijing Airport. Xiao Ding and John carried the luggage while Leng Zimo held Luo Xiaoqian’s hand, personally escorting her to the boarding gate.

Lately, Luo Xiaoqian had been staying in Beijing, with all company matters handled by Selena.

However, she needed to attend this Rome event personally.

At this moment, of course, she didn’t want to leave Leng Zimo and Luo Jun, but this was something she could not shirk.

Having founded L&L for over three years, this company, this job held great significance for her. She hoped to do it well and wanted to be not just his lover but also his partner in work and life.

After escorting her to the boarding gate, Leng Zimo still held her hand, ”Take care of yourself. Call me anytime if anything happens; I will come over immediately.”

Luo Xiaoqian looked up with a smile, ”Don’t worry, I’m only going for three days, maybe five days including the round-trip layovers. Plus, with John by my side, just take good care of yourself and Mo Mo!”

Leng Zimo straightened her hair, ”Same as always, turn on your phone as soon as you land, and call three times a day, morning, noon, and night.”

Luo Xiaoqian agreed with a smile, and John took her suitcase from Xiao Ding, ”Miss Luo, we should go!”

”Okay!” Luo Xiaoqian responded, looking up at Leng Zimo, ”I’m leaving now.”

Business trips aren’t usually a big deal, but having just gotten together, separating so soon was something she was reluctant to do.

Leng Zimo nodded gently and slowly released her hand, watching her turn and head toward the special passageway. Suddenly, he hurried forward, pulling her back into a tight hug. He knew she couldn’t refuse this job, but watching her leave made him anxious, fearing he might not see her again. Being together was precious, which made his apprehension understandable.

Had it not been for the many tasks demanding his attention at the company, preventing him from leaving, he would surely have gone with her.

After a while, Leng Zimo slowly let go of her, ”Take care on the road.”

Luo Xiaoqian chuckled lightly, tiptoed to kiss his lips, then turned and dashed into the boarding gate.

Watching her figure disappear down the passage, Leng Zimo stood there a while longer before turning to the window. He remained until he saw her plane take off, then took out his phone to send a text message to her.

As the plane ascended, Luo Xiaoqian looked at the gradually diminishing city of Beijing through the window, her heart feeling sour.

Due to time constraints, Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t book a direct flight to Rome; the plane needed to transit in Moscow. After a few hours of flight, it safely landed at Sheremetyevo Airport.

While she and John were transferring their luggage for the connecting flight, Luo Xiaoqian turned on her phone.

As soon as she powered it on, a text message from Leng Zimo arrived, containing just three words.

”I miss you!”

Looking at his message on the screen, Luo Xiaoqian felt a wave of emotion rise from her heart like waterweed, wrapping around her.

It was longing.

He missed her, just as she had started missing him as soon as she left?

For the two of them, at this moment, they were even more inseparable than during their initial romantic days, making this separation understandably difficult.
