Chapter 646: Chapter 644: Encounter with Blood Lady Again (Fourteenth Update)

”Sigh,”

Xiao Yifeng couldn’t help but exhale as he left the villa, his expression once again growing incredibly complex. He had been honest about everything this time, yet he was unsure what Ye Yaxin was truly thinking in her heart.

He lit a cigarette and took a drag, feeling a sense of helplessness in this moment.

”Sharing a big bed, with someone at each side—it seems difficult,”

Xiao Yifeng muttered to himself; this had been the scene he most wished to see, but now it appeared to be a colossal challenge. Unless he could win over Ye Yaxin and have her accept other women, everything else was futile.

After finishing his cigarette, Xiao Yifeng drove off in his BMW, prepared to head to Hong Mei’s place, which had become his second home apart from this one.

However, halfway there, Xiao Yifeng saw a blonde woman stumbling as she ran, her complexion pale. In her right hand was a short blade, and her left hand clutched her abdomen, from which blood continuously oozed, staining her palm red. She seemed to be injured.

”It’s her!”

Recognizing the woman, Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flashed with surprise. She was the Blood Lady from the Blood Soul Organization who had once attempted to assassinate him. He didn’t expect to see her again today, especially in such a gravely wounded state.

Immediately, Xiao Yifeng stopped the car and walked over.

”What’s happened to you?”

Xiao Yifeng asked as he approached the Blood Lady, who looked up at him with a flicker of peculiar light in her eyes.

”Quick, get me out of here, find somewhere to hide me!”

The Blood Lady said with a pale face.

”Miss Blood Lady, please come back with us immediately. You’re injured and need to be treated right away!”

At that moment, five members of the Blood Soul Organization appeared with icy expressions and a murderous aura emanating from them. They held bloodthirsty blades in their hands, eyes fixed on the Blood Lady.

”Since I’ve decided to leave that place, I won’t go back. You’ll have to take my corpse back if anything!”

The Blood Lady turned and coldly shouted at the five individuals.

”Then we’re sorry, but let’s go!”

With that, the five of them focused their eyes and lunged toward the Blood Lady.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Sudden thunderous noises erupted as Xiao Yifeng unexpectedly positioned himself in front of the Blood Lady. He unleashed several punches in rapid succession, with the terrifying force of Starforce bursting forth, causing the five individuals to be repelled repeatedly.

”Who are you? How dare you meddle in our affairs!”

One of the Blood Soul members glared at Xiao Yifeng and demanded coldly.

”Bad luck for you, I’m in a foul mood today, and I’m going to take it out on you!”

Xiao Yifeng said, as Starforce spread throughout his body, transforming into a fearsome Gang Qi that exploded outward. Xiao Yifeng shot forward, his fists pounding ceaselessly. Each punch was earth-shattering, as if he intended to punch a hole through the void itself.

The five individuals, who were merely at the Gang Qi Realm, simply couldn’t withstand Xiao Yifeng’s furious assault, filled with the release of anger.

Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!

In just under a minute, all five were beaten to the ground by Xiao Yifeng, all coughing up blood.

Each one of them died as their internal organs were smashed to pieces by Xiao Yifeng’s heavy fists.

”Phew~”

After venting, Xiao Yifeng felt much better, the pressure from before significantly lifted.

With a wave of his hand, strands of Crimson Earthfire landed on the bodies of the five, the flames quickly consuming them and reducing their corpses to ashes.

Thump!

Suddenly, the Blood Lady collapsed on the ground. Xiao Yifeng’s expression changed, and he quickly lifted her up.

She had a deep wound in her abdomen, and blood kept gushing out. Xiao Yifeng hurriedly inserted a few Silver Needles into the Blood Lady to stop the bleeding and then carried her into the car.

He drove to where Hong Mei lived, carrying the Blood Lady upstairs.

”Who is she?”

Seeing Xiao Yifeng carrying a woman inside, both Hong Mei and Wang Miaomiao showed a hint of surprise in their eyes.

”She’s a friend of mine who’s been injured!”

Xiao Yifeng said after placing Blood Lady on the sofa and then taking off her coat, leaving her upper body clad only in a tight black vest that wrapped around her prominent chest.

However, Xiao Yifeng didn’t pay attention to that; instead, he focused on treating the wound on her abdomen.

After some effort and the consumption of quite a bit of his Starforce, Blood Lady was out of danger, and she soon regained consciousness.

”You’re awake!”

Xiao Yifeng looked at Blood Lady and said lightly.

”Did you save me? Where is this?”

Blood Lady surveyed her surroundings and asked with a heavy voice.

Wang Miaomiao and Hong Mei were both standing to one side, quietly watching Blood Lady.

”This is my friend’s home. Your injuries are no longer a concern; you just need a few days of rest,” Xiao Yifeng explained.

”Thank you. I owe you my life!”

Blood Lady glanced at Xiao Yifeng and said.

”No need to be so formal. Even though you tried to kill me before, I wasn’t at a loss, and later at the resort, you did help me out, so we’re even. But aren’t you a member of the Blood Soul Organization? How come you’re being chased after now?”

Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flickered with a hint of puzzlement.

Blood Lady’s gaze shimmered with complexity and dimness, and shaking her head, she said, ”I don’t want to talk about those things anymore.”

”Alright then, what do you plan to do next?”

Xiao Yifeng asked.

”I don’t know... find somewhere to stay, lay low for a while!”

Blood Lady replied gravely, her eyes scanning the area and adding, ”This place isn’t bad, could I possibly stay here for a while? I can pay you!”

”This isn’t my home; she is the owner. If you want to stay here, you’ll need her permission,” Xiao Yifeng said, pointing to Hong Mei.

Blood Lady swept her gaze over Hong Mei, gave a slight smile, and said, ”But she’s your woman; if you agree, surely this miss wouldn’t disagree, right?”

”You know about that too!”

Xiao Yifeng looked at Blood Lady with some surprise.

”Of course, observing people is the most basic skill of my profession,” Blood Lady said with a light smile.

”Well, what do you think...”

Xiao Yifeng’s gaze turned to Hong Mei.

”No need to ask me, since she’s your friend, then let her stay. After all, one more person won’t make a difference. But there are only two rooms in this apartment, and they are both occupied,” Hong Mei said to Blood Lady.

”Thanks, I can just sleep on the sofa,” Blood Lady immediately said.

”It’s not really suitable to sleep on the sofa, why don’t you share a room with me instead?” Wang Miaomiao offered to Blood Lady.

”That would be great, thank you,” Blood Lady nodded in response.

Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flashed with concern; after all, Blood Lady was an assassin, and him having her staying in the same room as Wang Miaomiao could potentially lead to trouble.
