Chapter 299: Chapter 299: Qii Zhenghua’s Plan

Meanwhile, at Tianhai City International Airport, a group of people with Western features dressed in overcoats walked out from within the airport.

There were a total of twenty people, all with blonde hair and blue eyes, each wearing a coat, their eyes occasionally revealing a bloodthirsty and fierce atmosphere, exuding an aura that made people dare not approach them.

The leader was a slender man with a cold face and brown hair.

His triangular eyes shone with the venomous glare of a snake, making anyone who looked feel as if they were being targeted by a deadly cobra, sending a chill down their spine.

”Vice-captain, the skin of these Chinese women is so tender and fair, much prettier than the women in Europe!”

A blond, blue-eyed man glanced around at the Chinese women with a lascivious gleam in his eyes that he made no attempt to hide.

”Remember, this is not the West, but China. This land is filled with masters, and if we provoke any of those masters, we’ll be in trouble,” said the skinny leader coldly, his voice a bit hoarse and deep.

”Yes, Vice-captain!”

The blond, blue-eyed man nodded, looking at the leading man with a face full of fear.

Soon, several Mercedes cars arrived and stopped in front of this group of people. One of the cars’ doors opened, and a middle-aged man in a suit stepped out and walked quickly toward the group.

”You must be Mr. Barkie. I’ve been sent by Elder Qi, please get in the car!”

The middle-aged man looked very respectful when addressing the man in the overcoat with the brown hair.

”Have our goods all been transported here?” asked the lead man in a hoarse and cold tone.

”They have all been brought here, and the target has already gone to Mount Lan. Elder Qi hopes that place will be his burial site,” the middle-aged man said gravely.

”Rest assured, I brought only the elite of my Black Serpent Mercenary Group this time. It doesn’t matter if he’s a Chinese person, even if he were the President of Country M, he would have to die!” Mr. Barkie spoke coldly, his triangular eyes brimming with boundless confidence.

Afterward, the group got into the cars and quickly left the place.

Suhang, a city even more bustling than Tianhai City, is also the economic center of the entire Jiangnan region.

At the moment, in Suhang City’s most prosperous commercial street, inside a luxurious and imposing building, in the largest conference room, a large group of people had gathered.

These people, each sporting a tie and dressed in business attire, radiated the aura of authority, clearly not ordinary people.

All of them were CEOs of large publicly traded groups in the JN Region, prominent figures in the business world of not only Jiangnan but the entire southern part of China, and were now all gathered here.

Additionally, they were all members of the Jiangnan Commerce Association, with their respective companies being part of the association.

As the largest commerce association in the entire Jiangnan region of China, the association encompasses seventy percent of the businesses there, enabling the collective to control over half of the southern Chinese economy.

This building was the headquarters of the Jiangnan Commerce Association and also the head office of Qi Group, chaired by Qi Zhenghua of the association.

All the members of the commerce association had gathered here by the order of Qi Zhenghua, and many had already guessed the purpose of their summoning.

The conference room door was promptly opened, and Qi Zhenghua, dressed in a traditional Tang suit, slowly walked in. Yet, his entire demeanor appeared much more world-weary, and his face was stern, portraying a cold and unforgiving visage.

Everyone present knew that Qi Zhenghua had lost his only grandson to murder, so it was certain that he was not in a good mood.

Qi Zhenghua advanced to the front of the conference table, swept his gaze over all those present, and sat down.

”Ladies and gentlemen, the reason I’ve convened this meeting today is to announce a particular matter,”

Qi Zhenghua said bluntly, his voice low and tinged with a chill.

The eyes of everyone present focused on Qi Zhenghua, speculating about the announcement he was about to make.

”I have decided that, starting today, the Jiangnan Commerce Association will officially begin a comprehensive suppression of Ye Corporation. I need the Ye Corporation to completely vanish from China’s business world. As for my reasons, you should all already be aware, so I see no need for further explanation,”

Qi Zhenghua declared icily, a piercing coldness flashing in his eyes.

Upon hearing Qi Zhenghua’s statement, whispers and discussions erupted among those in attendance.

Seated next to Qi Zhenghua’s deputy was a middle-aged man dressed in a suit, who was none other than Song Zhiyuan, the President of Song’s Group, whose father too had been cured by Xiao Yifeng.

At this moment, as Song Zhiyuan heard Qi Zhenghua’s words, his brows furrowed slightly, and he said directly to Qi Zhenghua, ”Chairman Qi, I understand that the loss of your grandson has caused you immense pain.”

”However, this matter is unrelated to the Ye Family, and harboring anger against them for it, and utilizing the full strength of Jiangnan Commerce Association to strike at them, seems quite inappropriate.”

”The man who killed my grandson is none other than the fiancé of Miss Ye from the Ye Family, which naturally ties this matter to the Ye Family. I will not let off anyone associated with that young man.”

”I am determined to see the Ye Corporation obliterated. Of course, I won’t expect you to put forth effort for nothing. I will not claim any of Ye Corporation’s assets; all benefits will belong to you. I simply want the Ye Family to be destroyed,”

Qi Zhenghua spoke with a grave expression, his tone icy.

Upon listening to Qi Zhenghua, the members of Jiangnan Commerce Association present began to contemplate eagerly, with a gleam in their eyes.

”I object!” Song Zhiyuan stood up, his voice resolute and cold.

Qi Zhenghua’s face grew chilled, his dark gaze sweeping towards Song Zhiyuan.

”President Song, what do you mean by this?”

”Chairman Qi, although you are the chairman of the Jiangnan Commerce Association, it isn’t solely yours; it belongs to all of us here. You can’t mobilize the entire association for personal vendetta—it’s disrespectful to the other members,”

Song Zhiyuan said indifferently.

”That’s right, Chairman Qi, President Song makes a valid point. Although Ye Corporation hasn’t joined the association, Old Master Ye and many present here are friends, and the Ye Corporation is one of Jiangnan’s economic pillars with considerable strength,”

”They say that even Japan’s Ishii Group couldn’t do much against Ye Corporation; if our association moves against the Ye Corporation, it will undoubtedly affect the entire Jiangnan economy and lead to unrest,”

”It could even cause scorn from our peers in the business world and seriously tarnish the association’s good name. Therefore, I believe this action is inadvisable,”

”If the chairman truly intends to take action against the Ye Corporation, he can use the power of the Qi Group itself. I believe if you do so, the others will have nothing more to say,”

Another middle-aged man in a suit stood up to speak, and he was Huang Deliang, President of Huang Corporation of the Jiangnan Commerce Association, and a good friend of Song Zhiyuan.
