Chapter 297: Chapter 297: Drinking with a Beauty (Seeking Recommendations and Support!)

Yang Hao’s eyes were somewhat bloodshot, his fists clenched involuntarily, and his teeth ground together with a gnashing sound as a terrifying fury surged in his heart.

Yet, he deeply suppressed it. With a blood-red glare at Xiao Yifeng, he turned and left the place, not even bothering with the injured Du Quan. After all, the man had been crippled and was no longer of use to him.

Stepping out of the room, Yang Hao exhaled a turbulent breath, his eyes a bright scarlet.

”Xiao Yifeng, I, Yang Hao, swear that the humiliation I suffered today will be returned tenfold in the days to come!”

After uttering those words, Yang Hao left, restraining the rage in his heart.

In the room, a playful cold smile appeared on Xiao Yifeng’s lips.

To him, Yang Hao was just like an ant, easily crushed at any moment, but to avoid unnecessary trouble, he chose not to kill him.

Moreover, Yang Hao hadn’t touched his woman. If it were his woman lying in the room right now, Yang Hao would’ve been nothing but a corpse today.

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng’s gaze turned towards Su Yan, who lay on the sofa with her clothes torn.

At that moment, Su Yan was looking at Xiao Yifeng with a dazed and shocked expression. Only when his gaze swept over her did she come to her senses, her face tinged with a hint of redness.

Xiao Yifeng, with a trace of an amused smile, approached the sofa, his gaze fixed intently on Su Yan.

However, the two distinct, swollen slap marks on Su Yan’s face evoked a sense of pity in anyone who saw them.

Xiao Yifeng squatted down beside Su Yan, extending a hand to her face. She looked at Xiao Yifeng with a start, her eyes filled with nervousness.

”Don’t worry, I’m not the beast that Yang Hao is!”

Xiao Yifeng said, his hand gently massaging her face.

Under Xiao Yifeng’s massage, the swelling on Su Yan’s face gradually subsided, and the slap marks vanished, leaving her complexion once again fair, delicate, and smooth.

Then Xiao Yifeng massaged the other side of her face, ensuring its complete recovery.

”All right, I shall take you home now!”

Xiao Yifeng stood up and said.

”Thank you!”

Su Yan remained silent for a long while before finally speaking up, her bright eyes looking at Xiao Yifeng shimmering with complex emotions.

”You can’t walk out like this, put on my clothes first!”

Xiao Yifeng, noticing Su Yan’s shredded blouse, took off his own jacket and draped it over her, after which they left the Haotian Club.

During their departure, they encountered no obstructions, clearly indicating that Yang Hao had no intention of taking action against Xiao Yifeng at this time.

After driving Su Yan to a residential community, Xiao Yifeng asked, ”Will you go up by yourself, or shall I escort you?”

”You should come up with me. I need to return your clothes to you,”

Su Yan said, her eyes flickering.

”Aren’t you afraid that if I go up, I might do something bad? You are, after all, a great beauty who could easily tempt a man to commit a crime!”

Xiao Yifeng teased her.

”Better I entrust my body to you than to Yang Hao!”

Su Yan bit her lip and stepped out of the car.

”Why does that sentence sound so awkward to me?”

Xiao Yifeng raised an eyebrow and also got out of the car.

He followed Su Yan into her home, a modest one-bedroom and one-living room apartment, approximately seventy to eighty square meters, yet furnished with exquisite and elegant decor.

”Do you have time to have a few drinks with me?”

Su Yan looked toward Xiao Yifeng.

”My favorite thing to do is to drink with beautiful women.”

Xiao Yifeng gave a wicked smile and sat down on a nearby sofa, while Su Yan took out two glasses and several bottles of red wine and walked over.

After opening the wine and pouring two glasses, Su Yan took a sip and turned her gaze to Xiao Yifeng, ”When did you find out about my identity?”

”I found out about it unintentionally.”

Xiao Yifeng said lightly, holding up his wine glass.

”Then why didn’t you tell the president?”

Su Yan drank down the red wine in her glass in one gulp and looked at Xiao Yifeng.

”Ya Xin always regarded you as the closest person to her, and if she knew your identity, she would probably be very sad.”

”So you kept it from her and then secretly helped the Ye Family win the bid this time around, it seems you really do care about the president!”

Su Yan looked at Xiao Yifeng, a hint of envy flashing in her eyes.

”To get praise from you, the aloof secretary to the CEO, is truly not easy, you’ve always disliked me before!”

Xiao Yifeng couldn’t help but say.

”Really?”

Right now, Su Yan’s fair face had turned a rosy red because of the wine, making her look exceptionally enchanting and charmingly seductive.

”Indeed, I’ve always disliked you. Although I was sent to the CEO’s side by Yang Hao, after all the time we have spent together, there are some feelings, and in my view, you were worthless and not worthy of the president in any way.”

Su Yan’s blunt words made Xiao Yifeng somewhat embarrassed, but then her words took a turn.

”It is only after what happened tonight that I felt I saw the real you.”

Su Yan spoke with her lips pursed, her eyes watery as she gazed at Xiao Yifeng, with a touch of allure.

”Oh? Is that so, and what do you think the real me is like?” Xiao Yifeng was genuinely interested in Su Yan.

”A personality that’s domineering and decisive, methods ruthless and sharp, with a natural air of kingliness!”

Su Yan’s eyes were somewhat hazy, and she emitted a drunkingly sweet scent mixed with the aroma of wine, as the atmosphere gradually turned tender and flirtatious.

”It seems you have a clear insight indeed!”

Xiao Yifeng laughed and took another sip of red wine.

”It makes me happy that the president has you for a fiancé!”

Su Yan smiled, filled her glass again, and drank it in one shot.

Who knows how long had passed, but the several bottles of red wine had all been emptied, and both Xiao Yifeng and Su Yan had drunk quite a lot.

”Help me back to my room!”

Su Yan’s eyes were on Xiao Yifeng, with a peculiar sparkle, but Xiao Yifeng did not notice it; he nodded at her request.

He steadied Su Yan with one hand and took her to a neat and tidy room.

Just as Xiao Yifeng was about to lay Su Yan down, she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck, and in doing so, they both fell onto the bed, with Xiao Yifeng pressing down on her.

The two kissed each other.
