The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Seeing the three of them say this, Zhang Mengfei finally nodded and agreed, saying with a smile: ”Okay, thank you.”

Seeing her agree, Huang Shiyuan and Han Ting were also quite happy. Zhang Mengfei always locked herself in her own little world of inferiority, and they all thought it wasn’t very good. Maybe this gathering could be her first step out?

...

The Friday class was very enjoyable for Zhang Mengfei and Huang Shiyuan. The professor was also a fan of the Emperor of Fortune, and he combined official history and folklore, making the lecture vivid and interesting, leaving a deep impression.

On the way back to the dormitory, the two were still chatting non-stop.

Tianmiao, on the other hand, was communicating with Kong Hou.

”Remember to change your appearance. Running a snack shop with two managers who look better than celebrities is too out of place.”

”Got it, master, we’ve transformed. I’m passably delicate, and Dong Xiao is just what humans call a bit handsome. Too ugly won’t work, I’m afraid we’ll make the customers lose their appetite.” Kong Hou said playfully.

”Being too ordinary isn’t good either. Humans are visual creatures and care about appearances. If we look better, the business will be better.” Dong Xiao concluded.

”Makes sense, in any case, you handle it as you see fit.” Tianmiao instructed.

Back at the dormitory, Zhang Mengfei was already there. She had changed into a light green dress, and her hair was trimmed and draped over her shoulders, looking much better than a ponytail. There’s no denying she had changed a lot after more than a month of university life. Her taste in clothing had improved significantly.

”You look nice. Zhang Mengfei, you’re really pretty today.” Huang Shiyuan praised.

”It suits you well.” Han Ting also smiled and praised.

”Really, is it? Thank you.” Zhang Mengfei smiled shyly, thanking them.

”It looks very nice. Very spirited too.” Tianmiao nodded, then took out a few vouchers, ”Let’s go, it’s my cousin’s shop, grand opening! Eat and drink free till you’re full!”

So, the four roommates had their first truly meaningful dinner together.

Tianmiao took them three to the pedestrian street outside the school and finally stopped in front of a cutely decorated shop.

”This is it.” Tianmiao took out a discount coupon and looked at it.

”Wow, with this decor, are you serious? My girlish heart!” Huang Shiyuan looked at the giant teddy bear and pink rabbit at the entrance, ”So big, and there’s a young lady taking photos with them. Wow, they’re selling milk tea and ice cream at the entrance, and the food is inside.”

”There are so many people. Is there any space left?” Han Ting was a bit worried.

”There’s a small private room reserved for us.” Tianmiao smiled, ”Come on, let’s go in.” Saying this, Tianmiao led the three of them in directly.

At the entrance, Dong Xiao greeted them.

”Cousin, busy?” Tianmiao asked with a smile.

”No matter how busy, I always have time to entertain you when you come. The small private room is saved for you, ladies, please go inside. Kong Hou is busy at the cash register, she’ll come to greet you when she’s free.” Dong Xiao also said with a smile.

”Hi, cousin.” Huang Shiyuan and Han Ting greeted him with smiles.

”Hi, cousin.” Zhang Mengfei also greeted him.

”Hello, having so many adorable sisters all at once is indeed a blessing. Go in and sit down, and check the menu first. How about we order one of each special snack?” Dong Xiao asked with a smile.

”Sure, one of each, and you can choose whichever flavor of milk tea you like.” Once inside the small room, Tianmiao handed the menu to everyone.
