”You...” Apel trailed off, then let out a soft, ”Pfft…”

For some reason—perhaps it was the familiar, warm touch of a hand on her forehead—Apel burst into laughter. Her beautiful eyes curled into captivating crescents. She wrapped her arms around Chen Fei’s, pouting as though upset, yet her voice was full of excitement. ”You knew it had been so long, and you still didn’t come to see me, Chen... You’re a very, very bad person.”

However, she quickly remembered that Aso Naijiro, his face gloomy and livid, and Earl Gary were still there. A chill involuntarily ran down her spine, and she asked anxiously, ”Chen, they’re from the Sicilian Family and the Japanese Asou Clan… What should we do?”

Clearly, the backgrounds of those two men deeply unsettled Apel. Her pale, soft hands grew slightly cold, and sweat formed in her palms. Seeing this, Chen Fei’s eyes narrowed, a hint of coldness emerging within them.

Apel was, after all, a woman who had once ’slept’ in the same bed with him. Besides, she was cute and well-behaved. How could he, Chen Fei, possibly tolerate others bullying her like this? The Sicilian Family? The Japanese Asou Clan? What are those? He had never even heard of them!

”Don’t worry, leave it to me. You just stand aside and enjoy the show,” said Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, the corner of his mouth curling into a cold smile.

”Well, okay then... Chen, you have to be careful,” Apel immediately nodded obediently and hid behind Chen Fei, falling silent.

”Kid, who are you? Do you have any idea what you’re doing? Let go of Miss Apel right now!” When Aso Naijiro saw Apel proactively wrap her arms around Chen Fei and even hide behind him, the man’s narrow, ugly eyes flashed with intense jealousy. His face was ashen as he roared, ”Let her go!”

”None of your damn business, you fat pig.”

However, Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, immediately shot back, ”Listen up. I’m warning you, and you, you little bat. The two of you had better scram before I lose my temper. Otherwise, when I decide to get nasty, you’ll face the consequences.”

It had been a long time since he’d gotten to swear so freely. Releasing his pent-up feelings like this felt damn good! Besides, the Japanese man really was as fat as a pig; the flesh on his face was practically squeezed together. He wasn’t making it up!

Hiding behind Chen Fei, Apel heard this and couldn’t help but cover her mouth to stifle her laughter.

She had been too afraid of Aso Naijiro’s status to say such things out loud, but Chen clearly had no such reservations… He was still so adorable and manly. Who else would dare to point at the only son of the Japanese Asou Clan’s current Clan Leader and call him a fat pig to his face? Almost no one, right?

When Earl Gary heard Chen Fei scornfully call him a ’little bat’ to his face, his expression changed. His reddish eyes fixed on Chen Fei as he asked coldly, ”Who are you?”

”Who am I? You’re not qualified to ask. Get a move on and scram. My patience is wearing thin,” Chen Fei said with a smirk, his tone mocking.

”HAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!”

Upon hearing this, Earl Gary didn’t get angry. Instead, he started laughing as if he’d just heard the funniest joke in the world.

Aso Naijiro also started to laugh, because he knew his partner’s true identity. A legendary member of the Blood Clan! And not just any member, but one from the oldest and most powerful Mafia family in all of Italy, the Sicilian Family! And what was he hearing now?! He’d actually heard this ignorant brat claim that Earl Gary... wasn’t qualified? No, no... not qualified... PFFT! HAHAHA! This was just too ridiculous!

Aso Naijiro couldn’t help but sneer. His smile was filled with a divine mockery that was deeply unsettling. Is this kid a complete moron? Did he get his head slammed in a door?

Hearing the exaggerated sneers from Earl Gary and Aso Naijiro, Apel couldn’t help but panic, despite the deep trust she had in Chen Fei. Her hands, holding his arm from behind, unconsciously gripped even tighter.

She couldn’t help it. She knew Chen Fei’s identity was extraordinary; she had personally seen even the high-ranking figures of the Brad Family treat him with great courtesy. But the problem was their location. The Ikanobin Hotel was the Sicilian Family’s territory. Moreover, the Sicilian Family was a Mafia Family just as powerful as the Brad Family. And on top of all that, there was the only son of the Japanese Asou Clan’s current Clan Leader… Under these circumstances, she couldn’t help but feel worried and anxious about their precarious situation.

As it turned out, Apel’s concerns were justified. After his laughter died down, Earl Gary suddenly whistled. In the distance, a large crowd of men emerged from the hotel. All of them wore black suits and sunglasses, and they brazenly brandished various types of high-powered firearms.

”Chen, guns…” At the sight of this, Apel panicked. The color drained from her exquisite face, and her fingers dug into Chen Fei’s arm as she spoke in a trembling voice.

Seeing this, Earl Gary and Aso Naijiro glanced at each other. Both could see the triumphant satisfaction in the other’s eyes, clearly enjoying the moment.

They both lifted their chins, their gazes playful and mocking as they looked at Chen Fei and Apel. Smirks spread across their faces, clearly showing that they believed they had their prey cornered. It was a look of pure enjoyment and triumph.

”Still feeling impatient, boy? I think you’ll find you have all the time in the world now,” Earl Gary taunted, taking a long sniper rifle from a black-clad bodyguard. He pointed the muzzle in Chen Fei and Apel’s direction, a mocking smile spreading across his face. ”Do you know what this is? This is the latest product of the Asou Clan’s research: the X7-T0 sniper rifle. It can take a life from over 3,000 meters away. The lethality of its bullets is far beyond that of any ordinary firearm. At close range, not even the body of a Marquis from our great Blood Clan could withstand a shot. Since you were able to identify me, you should understand what that means, right? Haha!”
