Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1196: Chapter 1195: Forced Abortion

Forced abortion...

It’s already been seven or eight months; the child could live if born. It’s utterly inhuman...

Gu Tong, with tears streaming down her face, said, ”My husband is soft-hearted; he listens to his mother too much. He insisted on dragging me onto the train, saying we needed to go to the hospital for a check-up...”

”Midway, I felt something was wrong, and that’s when I came up with this plan. Just as the train arrived at the station, I made a scene. My mother-in-law couldn’t catch up due to her bad legs, so I managed to evade her...”

The young nurse’s eyes turned red, feeling sorry for this woman’s tragic fate. She glared at Xia Xi and said, ”Can’t even protect his own wife, men are truly useless!”

Gu Tong wiped her tears and also glared at Xia Xi, saying, ”Isn’t it?”

Xia Xi’s mouth twitched: ”...” She admitted all men were useless... The problem was, she now was a ’man,’ and the ’useless’ man Gu Tong mentioned, well... feeling hopeless!

The young nurse sat down thoughtfully, held Gu Tong’s hand firmly, and comforted her, ”So, you ran to City C. What are your plans there... Do you have any relatives or friends?”

Running to City C isn’t a long-term solution. If her mother-in-law catches up, it could be even more troublesome.

Gu Tong sniffed and said, ”I married far away; my family is in City C. Once I return home and tell my parents, they’ll surely protect me...”

Whose daughter isn’t cherished by their family?

In certain moments, the family is the most reliable haven.

The young nurse understood Gu Tong’s feelings deeply and hurried to say, ”Yes, yes, going home would be good. Tell your parents; they will surely protect you and the child!”

The young nurse felt a bit relieved, having realized that Gu Tong was a smart woman who knew how to protect herself.

If it had been another woman, even slightly weaker, she would likely have been deceived by her in-laws...

The young nurse, having worked for a long time, had encountered many pregnant women.

Some pregnant women, having had too many abortions, had their uterine walls thin and ended up with difficult childbirth, cursing their husbands for forcing them into more than ten abortions!

Of course, this was considered a better situation. More tragically, some could never get pregnant again after a few abortions, muttering that it was her karma...

At this time, women have very few ways to protect themselves. Longxing Country had only recently opened up; although times have changed and we’re past the arranged marriage era, in rural areas, the old generation’s preference for male offspring still leaves deep scars in their hearts.

The aftermath of old thoughts still had to be borne by the young...

The young nurse wiped Gu Tong’s sweat, thoughtfully saying, ”Ma’am, you must protect yourself well. Don’t let anyone hurt you. Don’t be afraid; no one can force you. If things get unbearable, you should consider divorcing him. My relatives did just that...”

Recalling her divorced relatives, the young nurse couldn’t help but suggest this to Gu Tong; although it’s a last resort, it is indeed a viable option.

The young nurse, youthful and beautiful, charming, and simple, shines with a kind heart beneath her white nurse uniform!

Doctors have a parental heart, which often has nothing to do with medical skills. Just like the lesson Gu Tong spoke of, being a doctor, medical ethics are very important.

The new generation of doctors includes such nurses with new blood.

Gu Tong smiled gently and said, ”Thank you for understanding a woman’s heart. You’ll surely become an excellent nurse in the future!”
