Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1194: Chapter 1193: Xue Tong Doesn’t Understand Medicine?

If anything happens to the pregnant woman midway, all medical personnel will be held responsible.

Moreover, if they encounter unreasonable patients and their families, they could easily be taken to court, destroying their medical careers for life.

While worried about the patient’s safety, the nurse must inform them of the seriousness! And scaring the patient a little could serve both purposes.

”My son, my decision! You don’t need to worry!” Gu Tong seized the opportunity and quickly chimed in, appearing a bit domineering.

She wasn’t intentionally making things difficult for the medical staff; it’s just that their best option now was to take the ambulance to City C, mainly to avoid pursuit.

Keep in mind, those people behind them were not easy to deal with and could react at any moment. By then, it might be too late.

Xia Xi didn’t find it hard to understand Gu Tong’s thoughts and said, ”Alright, nurse, don’t make it difficult. Follow my wife’s instructions...”

She had to admit, Gu Tong’s thinking was indeed comprehensive. This was the best solution. With that in mind, Xia Xi said no more and boarded the ambulance directly.

”You, you all...” The nurse was a bit stunned, not expecting to encounter such a troublesome couple. Reluctantly, she couldn’t afford to delay, as it was a matter of life and death, so she quickly got on the vehicle heading to Provincial Hospital in City C.

As medical workers, they could encounter all sorts of situations anytime. Sometimes, they couldn’t help but feel both amused and helpless, yet somehow it actually happened.

This might be the helplessness of being a doctor...

’Woo woo woo--’

The ambulance sounded rhythmically.

This is the sound that tells others to make way, also notifying nearby vehicles that an ambulance is advancing, hoping other cars will yield.

Gu Tong lay on the bed, exhaled a sigh, glanced at the young nurse, and said, ”No need to take my blood pressure!”

The young nurse held the sphygmomanometer, stunned for a moment, a bit at a loss.

If the child must be born in City C, so be it, but now refusing to measure blood pressure? What’s going on...

Gu Tong chuckled, saying, ”Is two hundred bucks enough for an ambulance trip?”

The young nurse nodded and said, ”Enough...”

There are two types of ambulances, one is non-profit, and the other is profit-driven. Their kind of vehicle clearly belongs to the latter.

Gu Tong lowered her eyelids and said calmly, ”Once we arrive at the hospital, just leave me near the hospital; no need to go inside...”

”Ah... How’s that possible...” The young nurse panicked, saying, ”Ma’am, your situation can’t be delayed any longer; you must have surgery immediately...”

Forcing herself to go to City C to give birth was already nerve-wracking enough, and now she seemed unwilling to receive treatment.

The young nurse was already confused about what this patient really intended...

Gu Tong revealed a slight smile and explained, ”Little girl, I know my body isn’t that serious; the baby won’t come out now.”

Her belly was all wrapped in rags, there’s no chance of giving birth...

The young nurse clearly didn’t believe her and hastily said, ”Ma’am, your water has already broken. Generally speaking, the child should be born! You don’t know medicine, but you can’t joke with the child’s life...”

Xia Xi: ”...” Xue Tong doesn’t know medicine? Stop joking...

Xue Tong wasn’t pregnant, just couldn’t get a kid out...

Gu Tong’s eyes turned slightly red, sniffled, and said, ”Little girl, I understand the reasoning. I just have some difficulties...”
