Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1193: Chapter 1192: My Son, I Decide His Fate!

”Ow, it hurts, it hurts, it’s killing me...”

Gu Tong lay on the stretcher, crying out in pain.

Two or three medical staff were frantically lifting her onto the ambulance, being careful throughout to avoid any mishaps with the patient.

”It hurts, it really hurts, it’s killing me...”

Gu Tong tightly grasped Xia Xi’s arm, forcefully pulling him onto the vehicle to accompany her, saying, ”I want to go to the hospital, I want to go to the hospital...”

The nurse stood by Gu Tong’s side, soothingly saying, ”Ma’am, don’t be nervous, relax, the hospital is nearby, you and your child will definitely be safe and sound.”

This was the standard reassuring line hospitals used when faced with pregnant women, aimed at calming the mothers to avoid any tragic outcomes like both mother and child perishing due to excessive tension.

Though such situations had become routine for them, they still had to be responsible to the patients.

Being a doctor herself, Gu Tong naturally understood this reasoning.

However...

Gu Tong resolutely shook her head and said, ”No... I want to go to C City Provincial Hospital... I want a cesarean section, not a natural birth, it hurts, it’s killing me...”

The nurse was slightly taken aback, quickly comforting, ”The hospitals here can perform cesareans too, besides, ma’am, you’re not in good condition, you’re already bleeding, your water has broken, we need to take action immediately for delivery...”

”I, I can endure! I want to go to C City Provincial Hospital! I must deliver the child there!” Gu Tong’s words seemed to lack confidence.

Endurance, childbearing could still be endured...

This was truly the first time hearing of such a thing...

Relying on the fact that she didn’t have any real ball in her belly, Gu Tong started making a fuss, insisting on heading to C City Provincial Hospital!

”Sir, this...” The nurse was uncertain, urgently looking to Xia Xi for help, saying, ”Your wife’s condition is quite severe, we can’t afford to wait... Even going to the nearest hospital might be too late, where’s the time to wait for an hour to drive to C City’s Shoucheng Hospital...”

It’s known that when women give birth, they can’t wait; many can’t hold on while on the way, directly delivering right there on the avenue has happened repeatedly.

Considering Gu Tong’s current situation, having broken water already, if there’s a long delay, the child might suffocate out of being unable to be born.

”Umm...” Xia Xi was unsure of Gu Tong’s intentions, raising his eyebrows.

Gu Tong, without a word, pinched his arm, saying, ”The fortune teller said! If my son is born in C City, he’ll definitely be rich and powerful and can become an official! Relying on the child to gain a noble status, I’ll enjoy the rest of my life!”

Nurse: ”...” These are feudal superstitions! You can’t believe what fortune tellers say...

Xia Xi: ”...” Xue Tong really has a talent for acting in special scenes, how did she not notice before...

The nurse urged impatiently, ”Ma’am, we really can’t wait... If you continue to delay, the child will be born and there will be problems then...”

Born?

Gu Tong widened her eyes and insisted, ”Born where! My son is mine to decide! I said he must be born in C City, so he must be born in C City! If you keep dragging this out, that’ll be when there is trouble!”

Determining the time your child is born based on your say, you’re truly bossy as a mother, don’t even ask if your son agrees...

The nurse was a bit anxious and said, ”What if he’s born before reaching C City and something happens, I won’t be responsible...”
