I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

At that moment, the sound of several biological sacs bursting came.

Pop!

Pop!

Three masses fell from the ceiling onto the ground, the first one was almost human-shaped, but it had no legs.

It placed its two very large arms on the ground and pulled its skinless body toward Lian, the second was only a large head with six thin arms sticking out from around its skull.

It was impossible to even understand what the third one was supposed to be.

A four-legged body with an exposed spine and two incomplete faces on its chest.

All three moved toward him before they had even completely come out of the liquid that had created them, and he gave them a short look.

”You don’t clean your workshop very much, what are these disgusting pieces of trash?”

”They are experiments, how many times are you going to insult my great experiments?”

Ezrak frowned.

”Since when is trash a type of experiment?”

Vorhelm looked at him in surprise.

”You really are annoying.”

The white-eyed man decided to ignore him.

The first creature threw itself forward, and Lian stepped to the side, the creature’s fist broke the floor.

Before it could pull its hand out, lightning gathered in his palm and he struck the back of its head.

Boom!

The half-made skull exploded on the ground, and the second creature fell on him from above, its six arms wrapping around the young Vorhelm like a spider.

But his body disappeared for a moment.

[False Presence]

The claws closed around the false image, and Lian appeared two meters behind it.

Ezrak did not even look at the false image, and he immediately turned around, the wall behind him had opened and dozens of red threads like nerves were coming toward him at an incredible speed.

One of them hit his shoulder, his clothes were torn and his skin also received a thin cut, if it had hit his neck directly, it probably would have separated his head from his body.

Lian jumped backward and three more threads passed in front of his face, his eyes narrowed.

So False Presence had not worked on Ezrak, the man had noticed it and had informed this living cave as well and because of that his target had failed.

He knew this skill was not perfect, but he had not expected this white-eyed man to see through the skill.

”How?”

He whispered to himself, he had a few guesses but none of them were reliable.

”You are walking inside my body.”

Ezrak happily pointed around him.

And suddenly...he became silent for a moment and frowned.

”No...that was a bad sentence.”

”At least we agree on something.”

Lian said while dodging another attack.

”You are walking inside my child’s body.”

The white-eyed man corrected his sentence.

”Not much better, that sentence could get both of us arrested for a certain crime.”

Ezrak shrugged, and in any case Lian had really understood what he meant and how he had noticed his [False Presence] skill.

The entire cave was full of sensory organs and it could see and notice the pressure of his steps, the heat of his body, the mana he released, the movement of the air when his body moved and maybe even his heartbeat.

That man did not need eyes to see him, as long as he was inside this huge creature, the entire battlefield was one eye.

The nerve threads attacked again, and this time the young Vorhelm did not move back, he placed his hand on the ground.

Mana left his body.

[Frost Dominion]

Crack...

Ice spread from under his palm, but this time it did not stop on the surface and he sent his control deeper...inside the tissue, inside the cracks and even inside the veins moving under the ground.

If he wanted to bring this living cave to its knees and defeat it, he needed to break it from the inside.

The black liquid inside one of the veins froze immediately, and the ice moved through the living network of the cave like a white disease.

One meter.

Five meters.

Ten meters.

The arms that had come out of the wall suddenly stopped in the middle of their movement, one of the nerve threads was only a few centimeters away from his eye when it froze.

Ice covered its entire surface.

”Oh.”

Ezrak frowned even deeper, and it was clear that what he had done was enough to make the man feel threatened.

Crack!

One of the frozen veins inside the wall exploded, and black liquid and pieces of tissue fell onto the ground.

”You’re just ruining the floor of my home.”

The white-eyed man looked at him unhappily.

”I’m just cleaning this place from the trash.”

Lian stood up.

Ezrak opened his mouth to answer, but he did not let him, lightning appeared on his right arm, although this time he did not punch and placed his palm directly on the ice.

[Thunder Calamity]

Krrrrrrrr!

Lightning entered the ice...the ice was not actually just a surface and his goal was not only to freeze everything with ice, but now he had connected the entire frozen network inside the cave’s body.

In one moment, electricity passed through dozens of veins.

BOOOOOOM!

The entire part of the cave convulsed, the walls moved forward and backward, mouths inside the tissues opened without making a sound.

Eyes that Lian had not even noticed were there opened at the same time among the flesh, and a moment later they exploded from the strength of the current.

Several small chambers exploded, and the incomplete creatures inside them burned before they were born.

”Ah!”

Ezrak suddenly put both hands on his head, his body moved one step backward, his connection with the creature had received feedback for a moment.

And because of this, the connection between them shook and a strong nerve shock hit him.

Lian moved immediately, he was not going to waste such a great opportunity.

[Thunder Step]

Boom!

The distance closed in the blink of an eye, the white-eyed man raised his head, but it was already too late, for the first time the young Vorhelm had truly reached him.

A lightning-covered fist came toward his face, it seemed that this attack would definitely hit.

....but a wall of tissue grew between them and several meters of dense flesh and bone formed between the two of them in less than a second.

Lian’s fist went inside it, but he could not pass through all of its thickness and Ezrak’s laughter came from the other side.

”That was close!”

Lian pulled his fist out, the wall was quickly becoming thicker, a frown appeared on his face, the more time passed, the more he felt how annoying this living cave was.

No matter how much he tried, as soon as he got close to this bastard, the cave protected him in strange ways.

He had tried to freeze everything, he had tried to destroy it with lightning and he had even tried to tear them apart.

But in the end it was useless, everything he did was useless, so how was he supposed to kill this cave?

And while he was frowning, a familiar sentence echoed in his mind.

Aldric’s voice.

”When you first learn the skill, you’ll probably make a twenty-meter palm and get happy when you see it.”

He looked at the huge wall, a small smile appeared on his face.

”I think he was right.”

He raised his right hand, mana flowed toward his palm.

Instead of being compressed into a small space like Aldric’s version, the mana spread out from his palm.

A huge aura appeared in front of him, at first it was not in a clear shape and then it took form.

A huge palm, more than fifteen meters, and even he looked at it for a few seconds.

”Oh?!

Another new thing!!

....but why is it so big?”

Ezrak’s excited voice came from behind the wall.

”You like big?

Let’s see how different it is from a small one.”

Lian pushed his palm forward and his eyes narrowed.

[Suppressing Palm]

BOOOOOOOOM!

The mana palm hit the wall.

Pressure was applied, the first meter of tissue was crushed immediately, then the second, and the bones inside the wall made a horrible sound.

Crack!

Crack!

Crack!

The entire mass that was several meters thick was pushed inward, and black liquid came out of the tissues like a fountain.

A moment later, the wall exploded from the middle and pieces of flesh and bone spread throughout the cave, and the force of the attack even pushed the white-eyed man several meters backward.

For a moment, there was silence.

The young Vorhelm looked at his own palm.

His control was terrible, a large amount of mana had been wasted, the size was much larger than what he needed.

But its power was not bad, in fact it was incredible, he had also used only a small amount of mana and this skill could make its attacks stronger or weaker depending on the amount of mana it needed.

On the other side of the ruined wall, Ezrak was lying on the ground, he had landed badly and it was clear that he was injured...it was expected that he would curse, get angry or something like that.

But a few seconds later, he started laughing, at first Lian thought it was because of anger.

But no.

The white-eyed man was genuinely happy and quickly stood up from the ground.

”Did you see?!”

Who was he talking to?

It was not clear, was he talking to him?

Or was he talking to someone else....?

”Did you see?

Did you see?

Did you see?!”

His eyes were shining with excitement.

”I was not wrong!

It became even better!

Much better!”

He started counting with his fingers in the air.

”Better bones.

Better muscles.

More mana.

More compatibility.

Stranger growth...”

He suddenly looked at Lian and his smile became wider.

”If you keep going like this, maybe I won’t even have to throw much of you away!

Everything about you is perfect!

I can combine everything about you with the Calamity Seed!

There is no useless part of your body!”

”Very kind of you.”

The young Vorhelm stayed there for a moment and did not know how to answer.

”You’re welcome!”

Lian was not sure if the man had even understood the sarcasm, and the cave started moving again.

But this time he did not only defend himself, his eyes moved across the veins.

[True Sequence]

Information entered his mind.

Mana paths, nerve paths, contraction cycles, liquid distribution networks, and the points where Ezrak’s commands were turned into orders.

But there were too many of them, far too many, there were at least hundreds of paths and thousands of branches.

The structure of the cave was not like a skill that could be analyzed by looking at a few main paths.

This was a complete living creature.

Lian dodged several attacks and continued the analysis at the same time, the threads were different, but their sources of energy were connected and the different tissues worked independently.

But in the end, the energy returned to one path.

He jumped over a wall that was closing, a bone claw passed under his foot but he dodged it and landed on an icy platform.

His eyes followed the path of several huge veins, all of them went toward the center of the cave, toward the chamber and more exactly toward the Calamity Seed.

For several seconds, the entire picture came together in his mind.

Blood, nutrients, mana, fresh tissues and even the heat produced in different parts of the cave...all of them eventually reached that creature.

”I understand.”

Lian looked at the huge egg.

”What?”

Ezrak, who was standing farther away, smiled.

”That when you said you built this cave for yourself, it was just a lie, wasn’t it?”

The white-eyed man’s smile stopped for a moment, but he continued.

”It isn’t even a laboratory, all of it is a womb, the real purpose of this place isn’t to protect you, this place is a womb for the Calamity Seed...like a mother’s womb for her child.”

”The main purpose of this place is to protect the Seed and give it nutrients.”

Ezrak said nothing, that was enough....Lian had guessed correctly.

”Now one question remains, why did you try to hide something like this?”
