The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 540: Chapter 540: No Good News, but 2 Pieces of Bad News

PFFT. Cheng Yuan let out a crude laugh.

”Since you like kneeling so much, go on then. Kneel!”

Zheng Longxiang grew furious, pointing at Cheng Yuan and cursing, ”You brat! How dare you, when you’re about to die—”

He choked back the rest of his words.

Suddenly, Duan Lang, who was standing to the side, viciously kicked the back of his knee!

Then, he slammed a hand down hard on his back!

THUD!

Zheng Longxiang was on his knees!

Zheng Longxiang stared at Duan Lang, utterly bewildered. He couldn’t understand why Duan Lang had suddenly attacked him and forced him to kneel!

Duan Lang had always looked down on him, but he was also always the first to defend the honor and dignity of the Dali Duan Dynasty in public!

”Brother, why did you kick me? This brat is the one who should be kneeling! He just—”

Again, Zheng Longxiang choked back his words.

Because Duan Lang had suddenly bowed deeply to Cheng Yuan. ”This nephew greets Third Uncle!”

Behind Duan Lang, Zhou Shilong also bowed deeply to Cheng Yuan. ”Shilong greets Third Martial Uncle!”

Cheng Yuan said calmly, ”Xiaolang, Shilong, there’s no need for such formalities.”

Zheng Longxiang’s mind was buzzing in terror!

He was just an illegitimate son and wasn’t privy to inside information. He had only vaguely heard that Duan Yanming had acknowledged a sworn brother in Beijing!

Zheng Longxiang couldn’t believe that Duan Yanming’s sworn brother was so young!

He even looked a few years younger than him!

In the back, Wei Tian was dumbfounded!

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing!

’Just who is this kid?’

’The Crown Prince and Brother Long both have to bow and greet him?’

Wei Tian reacted quickly. He rushed forward, slapped himself hard across the face several times, and began to apologize with utmost sincerity.

”My lord, this lowly one was blind and failed to recognize Mount Tai. I have offended you. I am willing to offer Celestial Paradise to you to beg for your forgiveness!!”

Cheng Yuan stared coldly at Wei Tian. ”Do you think I’m someone who needs that kind of money?”

Wei Tian’s face went deathly pale. With a THUD, he dropped to his knees. ”My lord, please spare my life!”

”A man must have his own principles. Bullying the weak, fearing the strong, and helping a tyrant do evil like you do will one day bring disaster upon you!”

”My lord’s lesson is well-received.”

Cheng Yuan snorted. ”Seeing as you’re at least sincere, I’ll take Celestial Paradise. I’ll give you five percent of the dry stock, and you can stay on as manager.”

’Only five percent?’

But Wei Tian didn’t dare to question it and nodded quickly.

”Thank you for your mercy, my lord!”

Cheng Yuan waved his hand in disgust. ”You can go now.”

”Yes!”

Wei Tian left, but Zheng Longxiang couldn’t. He looked pitifully at Cheng Yuan, wondering how he would be dealt with.

Cheng Yuan looked at Zheng Longxiang expressionlessly. ”I know your background. Do you know mine?”

Zheng Longxiang shook his head with a bitter smile. ”This nephew didn’t realize it was Third Uncle in person. Please forgive me, Third Uncle.”

Cheng Yuan’s face hardened. ”If I weren’t your Third Uncle, does that mean you could have just done as you pleased with me? Would today have been the anniversary of my death next year?”

Zheng Longxiang’s expression changed. ”This nephew wouldn’t dare!”

”You wouldn’t dare? If you wouldn’t dare, why did you call Second Brother? Why did Xiaolang and Shilong show up here?”

Zheng Longxiang gave in completely. ”Third Uncle, this nephew was wrong. Since we’re all family, please forgive me just this once! Besides, you’ve already broken my finger and my tendon. Shouldn’t that be enough to quell your anger?”

Cheng Yuan raised a hand and pointed to the still unconscious He Zhixuan, asking coldly, ”Zheng Longxiang, if someone coveted your woman, what would you do to them?”

Zheng Longxiang was finally scared. He kowtowed forcefully!

”Third Uncle, this nephew truly didn’t know Miss He was your woman! If I had known, I wouldn’t have dared to have designs on her, not even if I had eaten the heart of a bear and the gall of a leopard!”

Cheng Yuan snorted. ”You’re about to die, and you still don’t realize what you did wrong! If it were any other woman, would it be okay for you to humiliate her as you please? Scum like you don’t deserve to live in this world!”

Faced with Cheng Yuan’s relentless pressure, Zheng Longxiang couldn’t take it anymore. He suddenly looked up and shouted, ”Third Uncle, if not for the monk’s sake, then for the Buddha’s! For my royal father’s sake, please spare me this one time!”

”It is precisely for Second Brother’s sake that I must punish you severely! I’ll make you remember to be more low-key in the future and to stop making enemies for Second Brother for no reason!”

SHNK! SHNK! SHNK!

Cheng Yuan viciously stabbed him three times!

Six holes appeared on Zheng Longxiang’s body!

Cheng Yuan was an excellent doctor, and with his Double Pupil, he easily avoided the vital organs, major blood vessels, and main Meridians.

The six holes looked terrifying, but they weren’t fatal.

Zheng Longxiang’s face twisted in pain!

He couldn’t believe that Cheng Yuan had actually dared to stab him!

And three times in a row!

Zheng Longxiang thought he was dead for sure. He collapsed to the ground, twitching and rolling in agony. ”AH! You dare to kill me! My royal father won’t let you get away with this!”

Duan Lang and Zhou Shilong shivered in fear. ’Third Uncle (Third Martial Uncle) is truly ruthless!’

They both secretly resolved that from now on, they had to be utterly respectful to Third Uncle (Third Martial Uncle). They couldn’t afford to follow in Zheng Longxiang’s footsteps!

Cheng Yuan said coldly, ”Three stabs for six holes will be enough to pay for your crime. If you can endure it, consider yourself lucky. If you can’t, it’s your just deserts! Shilong, take him to get treated.”

”Yes, Third Martial Uncle.”

Zhou Shilong quickly took out some Golden Sore Medicine, sprinkled it on Zheng Longxiang’s wounds, then gently picked him up and bolted out the door!

Cheng Yuan might not care if Zheng Longxiang lived or died, but Zhou Shilong didn’t dare to be so indifferent.

Cheng Yuan took out his phone, dialed Duan Yanming’s number, and deliberately put the call on speaker in front of Duan Lang.

Duan Yanming answered almost instantly, his voice full of delight. ”Xiaoyuan, what’s up? Calling me out of the blue must mean you have good news, right?”

”No good news for now, but I do have two pieces of bad news.”

Duan Yanming’s tone turned serious. ”What is it? Is there anything I can do to help?”

”I do need your help with one of them, Second Brother. The other one also involves you to some extent.”

”Xiaoyuan, just tell me.”

”In two days, the Jinling Yang Family Generals will hold a disciple recruitment ceremony. At that time, the Yang Family’s old matriarch will issue a kill order for me! I will be there, and I hope you, Second Brother, will be there to back me up.”

Hearing this, Duan Lang sucked in a sharp breath!

’The Jinling Yang Family is a Hundred-Year-Old Gate Valve!’

’They have two Martial Saints!’

’Even our Dali Duan Dynasty can’t afford to provoke them!’

In Duan Lang’s mind, Duan Yanming would surely hesitate and be conflicted.

But to Duan Lang’s surprise, Duan Yanming agreed without a moment’s hesitation. ”Don’t worry, Third Brother! I will ask my father to come out of seclusion and be at the Jinling Yang Family on time to back you up! Now, what’s the other thing?”

Cheng Yuan’s heart stirred!

’Second Brother is a true friend!’

’He really treats me like a brother!’

’Since that’s the case, from now on, the Dali Duan Dynasty’s business is my business!’

”I won’t waste words on thanks, Little Brother! As for the second matter, you could call it a family affair. Just now, I, your Little Brother, crippled one of Zheng Longxiang’s fingers and a tendon in his hand. I also gave him three stabs for six holes. I await your punishment, Second Brother.”
