The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 220: Chapter 220: Collective Mutiny

A look of utter despair crossed Cheng Yuan’s face. ’Am I going to die here?’

However, in the next moment, Cheng Yuan froze. The little girl’s teeth touched his neck, but she didn’t bite down.

Instead, she stared blankly at Cheng Yuan, her face glowing with excitement and adoration, as if she were looking at her dearest family member!

The next second, the little girl was sent flying by a punch from Elder He!!

Elder He pulled Cheng Yuan behind him and looked at him with lingering fear. ”Dr. Cheng, are you all right?”

Cheng Yuan subconsciously touched his neck, a very strange expression on his face.

He could clearly feel that the little girl held no malice toward him at all. On the contrary, she felt incredibly close to him!

Cheng Yuan even had the faint impression that these little girls would unconditionally obey his commands!

Even if he told these little girls to kill the horse groom, they would do it!

The feeling was as if he were a lofty god, and the little girls were his most fanatical believers.

Actually, this wasn’t hard to understand.

The little girls had been refined by the horse groom using incomplete Witchcraft, whereas Cheng Yuan possessed pure Ancient Witchcraft, and what circulated within him was pure Celestial Witch True Essence.

He could be considered a resurrected Great Witch.

When the little girls saw Cheng Yuan, it was as if they were seeing their own ancestor.

This was a suppression based on bloodline hierarchy.

A flicker of regret crossed the horse groom’s face. He gave Cheng Yuan a cold glare. ”Brat, so you’re the one who ruined my plans? I will never let you go! This isn’t the last you’ll see of me! From now on, you’d better sleep with one eye open, lest you die in your dreams! HAHAHAHA!”

The horse groom knew he probably couldn’t kill Cheng Yuan today, so he turned to leave without hesitation.

Cheng Yuan smiled faintly. ”Did I say you could leave?”

The horse groom stopped and looked at Cheng Yuan with a mocking gaze. ”Brat, Elder He is tied up with my Ghost Soldiers, and you’re just a Quasi-God. What can you possibly do to me?”

Cheng Yuan grinned, pointed at the horse groom, and said in a tone used to coax small children, ”Little sisters, help your big brother take him down!”

The horse groom roared with laughter. ”Brat, are you daydreaming in broad daylight? These are the Ghost Soldiers I spent a full seven years refining. Why would they listen to your commands? That’s simply...”

What the horse groom wanted to say was, ”simply a joke.”

But the words caught in his throat, refusing to come out!

Because the little girls had abandoned their siege on Elder He and, in a flash, blocked the horse groom’s path. They stared coldly at him, as if looking at a mortal enemy.

The horse groom was shocked. He roared, ”Are you rebelling? I am your master! Kill that brat! Kill that brat for me!!”

As he roared, the horse groom raised his hand to form a seal, trying to strengthen his control over the little girls.

The little girls turned to look at Cheng Yuan in confusion, a fierce light glinting in their eyes.

Cheng Yuan wasn’t flustered at all. He said softly, ”Little sisters, he is not your master. He is your enemy. Big brother is your family.”

The confusion on the little girls’ faces vanished. They instantly broke free from the horse groom’s control, their eyes flashing with immense hatred!

”Big brother is our family, and you wanted us to kill him! You are not our master! You are our enemy! Kill!!”

POW! POW! POW! POW!

The little girls rushed forward and gave him a brutal beating!

The horse groom was beaten until he was coughing up blood, with multiple broken bones!

Just as the horse groom was about to be beaten to death, Cheng Yuan quickly called out, ”Little sisters, leave him half-dead! Big brother has some questions for him!”

The little girls stopped, looking down at the horse groom with indifference.

This scene stunned Elder He. He couldn’t understand how these little girls, who had been trying to kill Cheng Yuan just a second ago, had suddenly turned on their own master and nearly beaten him to death.

How had he performed this magic trick?

”Divine Doctor Cheng, what in the world is going on? Why did they suddenly switch sides like that?”

Of course, Cheng Yuan wasn’t about to admit that pure Celestial Witch True Essence flowed through his veins. He immediately spun a story: ”These little girls were all killed by this horse groom. I just helped them recover their memories. You should go interrogate him. See who sent him. And what other conspiracies are they plotting?”

Elder He nodded, strode forward, and looked down coldly at the horse groom. ”Tell me, who sent you? You should be well aware of my methods! I have countless ways to make you wish you were dead!”

The horse groom knew he wouldn’t be spared. A crazed light appeared in his eyes. With a slight exertion of force, he bit down and shattered a tooth!

Cheng Yuan’s expression changed drastically. He flicked out several Silver Needles!

PFFT! PFFT!

The muscles in the horse groom’s face froze, and he failed to swallow the shattered tooth.

Elder He quickly grabbed the horse groom’s jaw and emptied the poisoned tooth fragments from his mouth onto the ground. He praised, ”Divine Doctor Cheng, your reactions are still the fastest. Otherwise, he would’ve died from the poison.”

Cheng Yuan sighed. ”We were still a bit too late. This poison is extremely potent. It doesn’t need to be swallowed; it takes effect in the mouth.”

Elder He quickly looked down at the horse groom, only to see his head tilt to one side as he stopped breathing.

Elder He tossed the horse groom’s corpse to the ground and spat. ”Did you think killing yourself would stop me from guessing who sent you? It must have been one of those old geezers!”

As he spoke, Elder He reached out and pulled the human-skin mask off the horse groom’s face, revealing a somewhat familiar countenance.

Elder He’s brow furrowed deeply. ”How could it be him? Impossible! Why would Brother Zhong try to harm me? I’m the one who dragged him out of a pile of corpses!”

Cheng Yuan said calmly, ”Elder He, please calm down. This isn’t his real face. He’s had work done on at least twenty places on his face, including bone shaving.”

Elder He let out a slight sigh of relief. ”Damned bastard! Using a man I saved from death to frame me! I almost wrongly accused Brother Zhong!!”

After speaking, Elder He turned to look at the little girls. ”Divine Doctor Cheng, what should we do with them? Leaving them in the world is a potential disaster.”

Cheng Yuan turned to look at the little girls. Through his Double Pupil, he could clearly see the thick Karmic Obstacles swirling above their heads!

The Merit he currently possessed was not enough to purify such dense Karmic Obstacles.

If he were to forcefully try to release their souls, the little girls would be cast into the Eighteen Layers of Hell, never to be reincarnated!

But none of this was the little girls’ fault!

They were all murdered by this horse groom!

And it was the horse groom who used them to commit evil!

They shouldn’t have to suffer such a punishment!

”Elder He, my power is not yet sufficient to release their souls. If you trust me, let me take them with me. I will keep them in check and make absolutely sure they don’t harm anyone! When I have enough power to properly guide them, I will send them on their way to eternal peace.”

Elder He had absolute trust in Cheng Yuan, so he nodded without hesitation. ”Alright, let’s do that.”

As the two were talking, a soft, sweet voice suddenly appeared in Cheng Yuan’s mind: ”Big brother, hurry and save that pretty older sister! A sliver of Xiaojiu’s Spiritual Sense is causing trouble.”
