The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 215: Chapter 215: The Son Pays the Father’s Debt

He Zhendong was not the least bit flustered. He said coldly, ”I’ll give you this, Cheng, I underestimated you! But don’t get cocky. You only defeated three attendants. The He Family has several Elders with the power of Martial Kings! If you dare lay a finger on me, this day next year will be the anniversary of your death!”

With that, He Zhendong pulled out his phone to call a few of the Elders for help.

All of a sudden, the color drained from He Zhendong’s face!

He had blocked the signal in the reception hall. His call wouldn’t go through!

He had well and truly shot himself in the foot.

Still, He Zhendong remained completely unfazed. ”Go on, Cheng, kill me if you have the guts!” he said with perfect composure. ”I am the eldest son of the He Family’s main lineage! The first-in-line heir! If you dare to touch me, my grandfather will have you ground to dust!”

This was the He Family’s estate. No matter how audacious Cheng Yuan was, he wouldn’t kill He Zhendong here. Just moments ago, when he had activated his Double Pupil, Cheng Yuan had seen a presence in the inner courtyard that shone like a small sun.

The True Essence within that being’s body was as vast as an ocean, and it radiated an incomparably sacred aura. That person could undoubtedly tear him to shreds with ease.

However, that didn’t mean Cheng Yuan planned to let He Zhendong go.

He Zhendong had been looking for trouble since the flight. After they landed, and again just now—he had picked a fight three times in a row.

This was intolerable.

Cheng Yuan said coolly, ”Don’t worry, I won’t touch you. I’d be afraid of dirtying my hands. Your own elders will discipline you for me.”

He Zhendong rolled his eyes, rendered speechless. ”It’s broad daylight, Cheng. What are you, daydreaming? The elders of my He Family are going to discipline *me*? That’s hilarious!”

Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to argue. He activated his Double Pupil and looked outside the reception hall.

He saw Divine Doctor Xue striding over, led by a middle-aged man. The corners of Cheng Yuan’s mouth curled up. ’The time is right.’

Cheng Yuan turned and beckoned to Hu Shishi. ”Shishi, since Eldest Young Master He won’t have us, we should just go.”

Hu Shishi froze. ’Is Xiaoyuan cracking under the pressure? Is he going to run?’

She was a little disappointed, but she didn’t argue. ’If it were me, I wouldn’t be able to handle this much pressure either.’

”Alright, let’s go to Dragon Flame Headquarters! Even Elder He has to show the Dragon Lord some respect. Your safety will be guaranteed if you’re with the Dragon Lord.”

As they spoke, a burst of hurried footsteps echoed from outside.

He Zhendong subconsciously turned his head and saw his father and Divine Doctor Xue striding into the reception hall, with Elder Qin following close behind.

He Zhendong was overjoyed.

’Did Dad hear what happened and come over?’

’He even brought Elder Qin!’

’Elder Qin is a Martial King!’

’Now that guy Cheng is dead for sure!’

He Zhendong hurried forward to meet them. He held up his heavily bandaged hand and cried out, ”Dad, I’ve never been wronged like this in my entire life! You have to make things right for me!”

He Hongting merely glanced at He Zhendong’s hand. Under normal circumstances, he would have been furious and severely punished the bastard who had hurt his son.

But right now, He Hongting couldn’t be bothered. He just gave He Zhendong a slight nod, as if to say, ’I have important business to attend to. We’ll deal with your issue after.’

Then, ignoring He Zhendong, He Hongting strode toward Cheng Yuan.

He Zhendong misunderstood his father’s intentions, thinking he had come all this way specifically to get justice for him.

He Zhendong was ecstatic. He quickly caught up, pointing his finger at Cheng Yuan’s nose and snarling, ”Brat, you were so arrogant before, weren’t you? Go on, be arrogant for me again! You better believe I’ll...”

He Zhendong choked on his words.

Because He Hongting had enthusiastically extended both hands, clasped Cheng Yuan’s hand, and was shaking it vigorously.

”Divine Doctor Cheng! I am He Hongting, father to Zhen Dong and Xiaojing. We’ve been anticipating your arrival with bated breath, and now you’re finally here!”

The faces of the three attendants instantly paled. The Eldest Young Master had really screwed them over this time.

’This kid really is an honored guest of the He Family!’

’Even the master himself has to be this respectful!’

He Zhendong’s jaw nearly hit the floor.

His father was the Deputy Director of the Central Organization Department. In the entire Dragon Country, there were very few people he needed to treat with such reverence.

’Just who the hell is this kid?’

’Is he the son of some supreme figure?’

’No, that can’t be right. He’s just an ex-convict from a labor camp!’

’Wait, what did Dad call him?’

’Divine Doctor Cheng?’

He Zhendong quickly interjected, ”Dad, are you mistaken? This kid is just an ex-convict, not some Divine Doctor. You’ve been duped, haven’t you?”

He Hongting’s face darkened. ”Silence!” he roared. ”Do not be disrespectful to Divine Doctor Cheng!”

Cheng Yuan said coolly, ”Mr. He, there’s no need to get angry with your son on my account. Since he won’t have me here, I’ll just leave.”

With that, Cheng Yuan pulled his hand from He Hongting’s grasp and turned to leave.

Cheng Yuan was He Jing’s last hope, so He Hongting would never let him leave. He quickly grabbed hold of Cheng Yuan, saying with an apologetic smile, ”Divine Doctor Cheng, there must be some misunderstanding.”

Cheng Yuan gestured toward the three attendants. ”Mr. He, I’m afraid there’s no misunderstanding. Your son brought three attendants here to deal with me.”

Only then did He Hongting notice that one attendant was kneeling in the reception hall while two others were lying on the floor, clutching their stomachs and convulsing.

He Hongting’s pupils contracted slightly. ’These three attendants are all Innate Grandmasters, and Li Haichen is even at the Grandmaster Peak!’

’And he took them all down?’

’Divine Doctor Cheng looks barely older than twenty, doesn’t he? How can he possess such formidable strength?’

He Hongting’s confidence in Cheng Yuan skyrocketed. ’If Divine Doctor Cheng is this powerful, his medical skills must be incredible too, right?’

He Hongting turned to his son, his face cold. ”Zhen Dong, apologize to Divine Doctor Cheng at once!”

He Zhendong stared at He Hongting in disbelief, unable to believe what he was hearing.

”Dad, you’ve got to be mistaken! This brat injured my hand and beat up three of our attendants. Not only are you not going after him, you’re telling me to apologize? Get Elder Qin to take him down, quick!”

SLAP!

He Hongting raised his hand and slapped He Zhendong so hard his face swelled up instantly.

”Apologize to Divine Doctor Cheng! I don’t want to say it a third time!”

But He Zhendong was nothing if not stubborn.

Even with his father this furious, he held his ground. ”That brat injured me, and you want *me* to apologize? I won’t do it! I won’t apologize to him even if you beat me to death today!”

”You unfilial son!”

He Hongting’s face fell, and he raised his hand high.

But He Hongting knew his son’s personality. Even if he were beaten to death today, he would not apologize.

He Hongting sighed and slowly lowered his hand. ’Since my son made this mistake, I, his father, will have to be the one to atone for it.’

He Hongting suddenly bowed deeply to Cheng Yuan. ”Divine Doctor Cheng, my son was insolent and has offended you. It is my fault for failing to raise him properly. As his father, it is I who should apologize to you! Please, don’t leave!”
