Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 2162: Chapter 2098: The Tea House’s Treasure—Liunian

The guests nearby, upon hearing his words, immediately showed expressions of disdain.

How expensive is the tea at Youqingwei?

Giving away a few canisters would already mean quite a loss for them.

Moreover, such delicious tea given to people like this, isn’t it a waste of resources?

Kuang Yunxian glanced at Cheng Qiulian. He truly felt that since all the elders here were women, if they really went head-to-head with these hooligans, someone might get injured, which wouldn’t be good.

Especially Cheng Qiulian.

She was Chiang Xiao’s teacher’s wife. If anything happened to her, how could Chiang Xiao bear it?

So he stepped up and said, ”The boss runs a business, focusing on harmony to make money. Let’s just consider this as letting you all taste the good tea of Youqingwei today.”

Saying this, he told a staff member, ”Bring over two canisters of tea; when your boss arrives, I’ll explain it to her.”

The staff member looked at Cheng Qiulian, who then glanced at the hooligans and nodded slightly.

The staff went and packed two canisters of tea.

She wasn’t foolish either, choosing two canisters that were mid-range in price in the store, one of the most popular types, with half a pound per canister.

The man took the tea, opened the bag for a look, his face hardened, and immediately threw the two canisters at the staff member.

”Damn you! Are you fooling me with this crap? Using this junk to brush off a beggar? I want your store’s Da Hong Pao, the one called Liunian, and I’ve heard you make a fortune with those small canisters, selling them at such high prices, barely enough for a few cups. Go, bring me ten canisters!”

The surrounding guests collectively gasped.

Even Cheng Qiulian’s expression changed.

Du Jinruo exclaimed, ”You’re crazy!”

What is Liunian?

It’s the most expensive tea at Youqingwei Teahouse, considered their treasure, not sold by the pound, but by the tael.

Currently, the shop only has small packages of five taels per box, priced at three thousand six hundred yuan per box!

Such expensive tea, the shop has only sold three boxes this month.

This man actually asked for Liunian, and ten canisters at that, costing thirty-six thousand yuan!

If that’s not crazy, what is?

Kuang Yunxian didn’t know how expensive Liunian was, but having tasted tea brewed personally by Chiang Xiao, he knew it wouldn’t be cheap.

”I say, brother, don’t you think this is too much?”

”Too much my ass! Who do you think you are? Jumping out from the start! Mind your business?”

Saying this, the man kicked towards Kuang Yunxian.

”Ah!” Du Jinruo exclaimed.

Although Kuang Yunxian didn’t know martial arts, his reflexes and coordination were strong. Pulling Du Jinruo and Song Xingbai aside, he dodged the kick.

Meanwhile, Cheng Qiulian was helping up the staff member who had been knocked down by the tea. The two canisters had hit her face, and now it was red and swollen, causing the young girl to cry.

The customers in the store, although wealthy, did not dare to confront such fierce hooligans. However, someone couldn’t help but say, ”Liunian is really too expensive. Asking for ten canisters at once would mean the teahouse works for free for a year, don’t overdo it.”

They all thought it would be impressive if the teahouse earned over a thousand yuan a month.

But Du Jinruo didn’t think so.

Just she alone had spent seven to eight hundred yuan here this month, not to mention the teahouse is always packed, including takeouts.
