Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 764: Chapter 765: Campus Hunk Level

Both of these boys looked to be around seventeen and each had his own distinctive features, but they could definitely both be called handsome.

The one on the left was slightly taller, about 175 centimeters, with eyes that were the typical peach blossom shape, lips that were neither thick nor thin, and the corners of his mouth slightly turned up.

The one on the right was about 172 centimeters, with thick brows and large eyes, slightly fuller lips with a small mole at the corner, and a gaze as brilliant as the stars.

Setting aside their looks, even their white tracksuits were quite rare in that era.

Looking at them, they really had the air of rich young masters.

The one on the right was also holding a basketball.

”Name,” Liu Guoying said with a stern face.

The one with the peach blossom eyes reported his name with a smile, ”Yu Hang.”

The boy holding the ball said, ”Xi Minghui.”

Liu Guoying waved his hand, ”Go stand at the back of the classroom.”

This was a signal that they were to be punished by standing.

Quite a few girls looked at them sympathetically.

Who would have thought that the last ones to arrive would be two boys eligible to be school heartthrobs!

People who are good-looking always have some advantages—when Chiang Xiao was scolded earlier, all the male students felt a bit sorry for her, and now that these two boys were being punished, the girls felt a wave of sympathy.

Yu Hang and Xi Minghui exchanged a glance, both shrugged their shoulders at the same time, walked down the middle aisle, and stood at the back of the classroom.

There wasn’t much space left at the back, and just so, Chiang Xiao was seated in the last row, so they stood right behind her.

”Let me introduce myself. My name is Liu Guoying, ’Guoying’ as in ’elite of the nation’...”

Liu Guoying had already started his self-introduction on the podium, Chiang Xiao listened to his impressive opening line, recollecting, when someone gently tapped her shoulder from behind.

”Hey, classmate, do me a favor, put my backpack in the desk for me,” said a voice.

A backpack came flying over to her.

It was the first day today, and textbooks hadn’t been distributed yet, so the backpack was light, but Chiang Xiao could tell at a glance that it was a leather backpack.

Among the various nylon, coarse cloth, and faux leather outdated bags or green military sling bags, this black leather backpack stood out as particularly trendy.

Chiang Xiao couldn’t have someone else sitting next to her, as there would always be a deskmate.

She took the backpack and shoved it into the drawer of the desk next to her.

”Thanks.”

Chiang Xiao didn’t speak, and without turning around, she could tell it was the voice of the boy named Yu Hang.

The self-introduction from Liu Guoying was very brief.

”I wasn’t originally supposed to teach you, I was here to visit a friend, but as your previous homeroom teacher, Teacher Zhao, fell ill and had to take an extended leave, and the school couldn’t arrange a new teacher on such short notice, I took over at the request of Principal Fu. If you question my teaching abilities, let’s try it for a month, and after the exams at the end of the month, then we can talk about whether it’s good or not,” he said.

Chiang Xiao smiled slightly upon hearing this.

She never doubted a teacher’s teaching abilities.

”Now it’s your turn to introduce yourselves. Listen, no nonsense, just your name and your distinctive personality trait will do,” Liu Guoying instructed, pointing to the first student in the front row, ”You start.”

The first student in the front row was the tall boy with a loud voice whom Chiang Xiao had noticed when she first entered the classroom. He stood up and said, ”My name is Hong Liang, and my trait is that I have a loud voice!”

The entire class burst into laughter.

What a fantastic name indeed.

”Very good, you’re the class president now,” said Liu Guoying.

This seemingly ”hasty” appointment by Liu Guoying made the entire class burst out laughing again, and although some were not quite convinced, given his stern expression, no one dared to say much more.
