Supreme Warrior in the City

Of course, the Guardian God would never have thought that the Human Clan actually wanted Ye Wantong to consume the Chaos Flower.

Because, in the eyes of the Guardian God, the key figure on the Human Clan’s side is Su Yang. Therefore, they would surely try every means to have Su Yang consume the Chaos Flower.

As for Ye Wantong, she was not even a consideration for them. To them, even if it was not Su Yang, it would have been one of the four, like the Suffering Buddha, who should consume it. How could it possibly be Ye Wantong? After all, the four, including the Suffering Buddha, are definitely more likely to advance to being the Strongest than Ye Wantong!

The intentions of the Human Clan did not concern the Guardian God much. Because, in their view, even if the Eternal Divine Emperor himself entered the chaos to seize the Chaos Flower, the Human Clan would have no chance of winning.

The Human Clan did not understand the situation, but the Guardian God was quite familiar with the situation surrounding the Chaos Flower.

Even after obtaining the Chaos Flower, consuming it was not an easy matter. The process of consuming it takes a great deal of time, and while consuming it, the consumer cannot use their power at all, making them vulnerable if unprotected.

This is also why the Guardian God set the victory rule as having one side consume the Chaos Flower.

To the Guardian God, even if Su Yang made such a request, allowing the Human Clan to first learn the location of the Chaos Flower, it was meaningless. Even if Su Yang managed to seize the Chaos Flower first, the problem was, could they consume it?

Actually seizing the Chaos Flower first was not important; what mattered was the subsequent process of consuming it. The Guardian God’s plan was mainly aimed at snatching the Chaos Flower from the Human Clan.

So, regardless of who the Human Clan sent, as long as the number did not change, it made no difference to the Guardian God.

After both sides confirmed their candidates to enter the Land of Chaos, the strongest from both sides again swore in front of everyone, vowing to the Heavenly Dao Earth Principles that they would not intervene in this matter.

With everything settled, the Chaos Flower was almost about to bloom. The strongest from both sides entered the chaos to search for the location of the Chaos Flower.

After about three days, these strongest returned, having pinpointed the Chaos Flower’s location.

The Heaven Slayer informed Su Yang of the Chaos Flower’s location, while on the Guardian God’s side, those strongest were certainly unable to disclose the Chaos Flower’s location, as they had previously sworn.

With knowledge of the Chaos Flower’s location, the next step was for the strongest to clear the chaos.

To ensure absolute fairness, not only could no Human Clan members or Guardian Gods remain in the chaos, but even other creatures had to be cleared out. For instance, Chaos Worms and Chaos Sparrows could not be left in the chaos.

The strongest took action, and all life forms within the chaos were driven out. This included the flock of Chaos Sparrows that Su Yang had encountered before, as well as many Chaos Worms.

The number of Chaos Worms was several times that of the Chaos Sparrows; however, their combat strength was certainly inferior to the Chaos Sparrows.

All the Chaos Worms were taken by the Guardian God, while these Chaos Sparrows came to the Human Clan’s side. After all, the last Chaos Sparrow King was on the side of the Human Clan.

Once the strongest cleared the chaos, they sealed it before allowing the selected members from both sides to enter the chaos.

The Human Clan and the Guardian God chose different entry points into the chaos. According to the previous agreement, Su Yang and his team were to enter the chaos at a point closer to the Chaos Flower. As for the Guardian Gods, they entered the chaos from another end, having to start farther from the flower.

Six of them, including Su Yang, entered the chaos and headed directly towards the Chaos Flower’s location as told by the Heaven Slayer previously.

After deepening his understanding of the Earth Principle, Su Yang finally comprehended what it meant by chaos having no direction or time.

It is not that chaos has no direction or time; rather, its direction and time hold no significance to those born in space. Within chaos, individuals cannot perceive changes in direction or the passage of time.

However, in reality, chaos has distance, and its expanse is vastly larger than the combined Three Thousand Great Worlds.

Only, chaos follows its own rules. In space, one can tear through and teleport to distant places. Similarly, there are many Chaos Gaps within chaos, and stumbling into such gaps can transport one far away.

Su Yang had previously heard that in chaos, the next moment you might be transported from one side to another, or struggle for a million years within without moving an inch.

It is these Chaos Gaps that cause such bizarre situations to occur. This leads many to mistakenly believe chaos has no distance, which is merely a delusion.

However, Chaos Gaps are unstable and can be altered by surrounding powers. Powerful forces can cause gaps to collapse and disappear. Therefore, the stronger one is, the less likely they are to fall into a Chaos Gap.

For those with the strength of the Strongest, they can roam freely within chaos.

As for those below the Strongest, they are still affected by Chaos Gaps. However, at Su Yang’s level, there are not many Chaos Gaps that can affect them.

With the knowledge of the Chaos Flower’s location, and Su Yang’s understanding of many Chaos Rules, they easily avoided those Chaos Gaps. In less than ten years, they sensed an extraordinary aura, indicating they were close to the Chaos Flower.

Along the way, Su Yang also gained a general understanding of the Chaos Flower.

The so-called Chaos Flower is a flower born in the depths of chaos, said to be condensed from the essence of chaos. Both the Heavenly Dao and Earth Principle have descriptions of the Chaos Flower, stating it possesses the ability to advance beings to the Strongest level.

The depiction from the Heavenly Dao and Earth Principle surely is not wrong. Therefore, the Chaos Flower is also known as the most powerful Spiritual Medicine in existence!

However, the Chaos Flower only blooms once every hundred thousand years. And each time it blooms, the strongest of the Human Clan and the Guardian God enter to vie for it. The ultimate result is that the Chaos Flower shatters, and no one gains anything.

Throughout history, no Chaos Flower has been consumed by either the Human Clan or the Guardian God; all eventually shattered.

The Human Clan and the Guardian God have been competing for so many years, neither side gaining any advantage. Hence, the agreement this time for the Strongest not to intervene, allowing those below to contend for the Chaos Flower.
