Supreme Warrior in the City

”A person with the posture of the Strongest is certainly chosen by us, the Strongest...” the Eternal Main God declared loudly.

”Oh, then let me ask you again, do you consider that fat man as someone with the posture of the Strongest?” Su Yang directly interrupted the Eternal Main God.

Everyone turned to look at the Second City Lord, with some even laughing outright.

That fat man, what an amusing way to refer to someone!

The Second City Lord was about to cough up blood; couldn’t you call me by my name? Is my dignity unimportant to you? What’s with the fat man label? All I want is to court your sister, does that warrant this insult?

Of course, the Second City Lord could only curse silently in his heart. He had many enemies, and would have to follow Su Yang in the future; to offend Su Yang now would lead countless people to seek revenge against him later.

The Eternal Main God glanced at the Second City Lord, attempting to speak but ultimately unable to utter a word.

After a moment of silence, the Eternal Main God asked in a deep voice, ”So what exactly do you intend to do?”

”Actually, I believe that merely allowing people with the posture of the Strongest in is quite meaningless. Because this posture of the Strongest is very difficult to determine,” Su Yang stated. ”I understand your intention: the reason for this plan, simply put, is to protect the Chaos Flower and cultivate a Strongest individual in the shortest time possible. Because if the Strongest of both sides were to clash, the Chaos Flower would surely be destroyed, and that would be such a waste!”

The Eternal Main God eyed Su Yang coldly, ”You see through things quite clearly!”

In fact, the Eternal Main God had another unsaid point. Actually, the Guardian God was determined to obtain the Chaos Flower. They proposed this plan knowing that the Human Clan had few individuals with the posture of the Strongest, while their side had numbers several times greater.

If the Human Clan agrees to their request, allowing only those with the posture of the Strongest to enter the Land of Chaos, then the number of Guardian Gods would be several times that of the Human Clan. At that point, not only would the Human Clan fail to obtain the Chaos Flower, but their members could also be slain in the process, which was one of the Guardian God’s plans and why the Eternal Main God was adamant about striking this deal.

Su Yang chuckled lightly and spoke leisurely, ”The Guardian God wants to protect the Chaos Flower, yet our Human Clan also wishes to protect it. After so many conflicts, if not forced, who would want to destroy the Chaos Flower? How many Strongest individuals could emerge from these Chaos Flowers!”

The Eternal Main God’s eyes sparkled; does this mean Su Yang intends to agree to the plan?

”So, you agree to this plan?” the Eternal Main God asked hurriedly.

”Agree to a part of it,” Su Yang replied.

”What do you mean by agreeing to a part of it?” The Eternal Main God found this answer perplexing.

”I agree with most of your proposal. The only part I disagree with is the determination of the posture of the Strongest,” Su Yang stated. ”I said earlier, even the Strongest may not be able to determine who can truly be promoted to the Strongest, right?”

The Eternal Main God’s brows furrowed, ”Then what do you propose?”

The Guardian God’s side intends to let numerous Guardian God competitors enter the Land of Chaos, taking advantage of their numbers to defeat the Human Clan. If Su Yang disagrees with this, and the number of both sides is equal, then the Guardian God will surely not agree either.

Human Clan cultivators usually possess better combat abilities and experience compared to Guardian God cultivators with similar power levels. If the numbers and strengths of both sides are about the same, the Guardian God surely won’t be as competitive as the Human Clan.

Su Yang smiled and said, ”In fact, I mentioned earlier that one point is very clear: those you select with the posture of the Strongest, we may not recognize. Likewise, those we select may not be recognized by you, correct?”

The Eternal Main God remained silent; actually, if Su Yang hadn’t stirred things up, there wouldn’t be any talk of recognition or lack thereof. But now, it could indeed be as Su Yang claimed; those they select, the Human Clan might not acknowledge.

”Thus, I believe we should use the simplest method!” Su Yang said, ”All members vying for the Chaos Flower should be chosen by the Strongest. Each Strongest picks one person, as long as the selected individual isn’t the Strongest, then regardless of whether the person possesses the posture of the Strongest, both sides must acknowledge them. Ultimately, those entering to contest the Chaos Flower must indeed be these individuals. Eternal Lord, what do you think?”

Upon hearing this, the Eternal Main God and others were dumbfounded, while the Strongest individuals of the Human Clan were astonished and stared at Su Yang in surprise.

This suggestion seemed entirely nonsensical. Having the Strongest choose individuals to enter, and both sides must recognize them? It seems very fair. But in reality, the Human Clan only has six Strongest, while the Guardian Gods have already accumulated twenty-two Strongest, despite the Heavenly Sect not having regained their Strongest strength.

Thus, if each Strongest selects one person to enter, the Human Clan will ultimately only send six individuals while the Guardian Gods can send twenty-two. In doing so, the Guardian God’s numbers would be nearly four times that of the Human Clan; what competitive power does the Human Clan have left?

What exactly was Su Yang thinking, and why would he propose such a solution?

The Eternal Main God and others were baffled; they initially thought Su Yang would request equal numbers from both sides. They were contemplating how to refute Su Yang and ensure the Guardian God’s side maintained superiority.

Never expected, Su Yang ends up assisting by proposing such a method? Isn’t this helping the Guardian God?

The Eternal Main God glanced at Su Yang, wondering if he might be an undercover agent sent by the Guardian God to the Human Clan?

”Well, do you agree or not?” Su Yang asked with a faint smile.

The Eternal Main God was still contemplating what Su Yang meant and what kind of plan he had hidden inside his gourd.

However, despite pondering it over, he couldn’t understand what Su Yang was aiming for. If according to Su Yang’s suggestion, the Guardian God would undoubtedly gain a huge advantage, does Su Yang not realize this?

After thinking long and hard, the Eternal Main God couldn’t grasp Su Yang’s intentions, but finally nodded, ”I think this proposal is excellent; I support Su Alliance Leader’s suggestion.”

”Su Alliance Leader...” The Taoist Venerable panicked; you might support it, but we cannot. This suggestion is extremely flawed, and the Human Clan is bound to suffer great losses.
