Beastmaster of the Ages

The deserters no longer required Tianming’s personal attention. After the deaths of the top brass, Yueling Fu seized control over part of the military and pledged complete loyalty to Tianming.

This army’s core members were all Yueling Fu’s trusted subordinates. As a primocosmic god now backed by Tianming, he carried significant authority within the Yueling Starcage and he quickly gathered many soldiers willing to follow his banner.

“Any cosmic god who flees will be executed without mercy! Emperor Tianming is the ruler of Yueling. Dissent will not be tolerated!” Yueling Fu personally led the pursuit of those attempting to escape.

Many Yueling clansmen despised his actions, but the situation had already become irreversible. More and more accepted reality and surrendered.

As Tianming stood above the Yueling Palace, every Yueling clansman understood their era was over.

After their losses, the Yueling Clan had effectively fallen into the ranks of a third-rate faction. They were weaker than even the heavily damaged aquamars and torchdragonoids, who at least still possessed many peak cosmic gods below the imperator-level.

But every primocosmic god of that level in the Yueling Clan had been wiped out with extreme prejudice.

Bitterness filled the hearts of the city’s inhabitants. Their choice to provoke Tianming and the sky plunderers had led to their ruin. “From now on, the realm belongs to the sky plunderers...”

Yet Tianming himself was not in a good mood. There were no longer actually any sky plunderers left here.

Li Tianzi, Li Muyang, and Wei Jing had all vanished.

After finishing the slaughter, Ying Huo and the others returned to Tianming’s side. Watching more and more Yueling cosmic gods kneel in surrender, they felt complicated emotions as well.

Xian Xian, sitting on Tianming’s shoulder, suddenly said, “Those cosmic gods begging for mercy earlier seemed completely unaware that your brother and parents had been resurrected. Everyone acted as if the dead had never come back to life.”

Tianming also found it suspicious.

Bai Feng guessed, “Just like we suspected, Dao San probably has memory manipulation too. If we had lost, everyone might’ve believed Yueling Long and the others had never died at all.”

Tianming nodded. “That’s the only explanation. These Aeternal Beings are just projections, yet they already possess incomprehensible abilities. I can’t imagine how powerful their true bodies must be.”

Everyone’s mood grew heavy.

Still, at least the enemies of the Realm of Chaos had finally been eradicated.

Not long after, under the “physical persuasion” of Yueling Fu and the army, every Yueling cosmic god in the capital finally bowed to Tianming.

Naturally, the Yueling Starsource remained in Tianming’s possession. He planned to eventually hand it over to either Imperator Cheng or Imperator Feng, since he would ultimately return to the Realm of Order.

They’re the only two imperatores left here.

He looked down upon the entire capital, where whether willing or not, countless Yueling cosmic gods were forced to kneel before him. Endless waves of kneeling figures stretched as far as the eye could see.

Cries of “Emperor Tianming!” echoed throughout the city.

“It may not be as catastrophic as what happened to the Eightpart Pantheons, but their top cosmic gods were still wiped out. From now on, they’ll forever stand beneath others.” Tianming gazed coldly at the kneeling clansmen before summoning Yueling Fu.

“You will be the acting governor. If anything happens, I’ll know.” Leaving these words, he turned and left.

“I hear and obey, Lord Emperor.” Yueling Fu respectfully saw off Tianming. Although he looked the honest type, he understood the implied warning in Tianming’s words.

Yin Chen still watched the entire Yueling Starcage. It was both support and a threat.

Yueling Fu understood that until Tianming sent someone to officially take over the Yueling Starcage, he would remain its acting ruler. Even afterward, his familiarity with the region ensured his value.

Submitting early had changed both his own fate and his family’s future. Whatever became of the Yueling Clan, the early defectors would inevitably be treated better.

After leaving the capital, Tianming traveled across the starcage collecting every stash of dazzling radiances that Yin Chen had discovered. Altogether, there were nearly two to three hundred thousand standard units.

“I can become a primocosmic god and still have leftovers for Zi Zhen and the others.” Tianming was pleased.

But his mood quickly sank when he thought about returning to Nullity and announcing the deaths of Li Tianzi and the others.
