Beastmaster of the Ages

Tianming didn’t waste any time, worried that his parents wouldn’t be able to be with him for long just like the previous times. ”What about Big Brother? Is Li Tianzi really dead?”

This was really important to him. Tianming didn’t understand Li Tianzi that well when they first met, but he had come to accept him as his true big brother after fighting by each other’s side for so long. He was also family!

”Look at how anxious this brat is,” Wei Jing said with a chuckle. She could hear Tianming’s heightened heart rate incredibly clearly, given how large he was in comparison to them.

Li Muyang smiled and said, ”He’s not dead.”

”Huh? What do you mean?” Though relieved, Tianming was still confused. Li Tianzi was the son of his parents’ first reincarnations. After being revived by Dao San and scattering after its demise, he should be dead too.

”Did Big Brother enter the cycle of reincarnation like you two?” Tianming asked, brow furrowed. Was there a counterpart of Li Tianzi in the Realm of Order that he had never noticed before?

Li Muyang smiled at his giant son. ”In a way, what you said wasn’t wrong. He is right before us right now.”

Tianming’s eyes widened with shock, looking at Li Muyang and then to himself. ”Dad, are you saying that I’m Li Tianzi?”

His parents smiled and nodded. The truth became an even harder pill to swallow all of a sudden. How could he be Li Tianzi?

Wei Jing explained, ”The first incarnations of Tianzi and Tianming were twins. They both perished all the way back. However, only one of the two got revived in the Realm of Chaos. The other wasn’t. After many cycles of reincarnation, the twins fused into one. That’s what you are. In other words, the you right now, the tenth incarnation Li Tianming, is the fusion of the first Li Tianzi and the first Li Tianming. Your big brother has become a part of you.”

Tianming was even more shaken after hearing the revelation. He tried to get the story straight. First, the chief of the sky plunderers, the original Li Muyang, used the Cyclic Reflector to reincarnate as his first reincarnation, the Li Muyang of the Realm of Chaos. Wei Jing’s first reincarnation also ended up with him. During their first lifetime, they gave birth to twins, Tianming and Tianzi, who eventually died. When Dao San revived them, it only revived Li Tianzi, but not Tianming.

”Hmm, it probably didn’t revive me to lure me to the Realm of Chaos. If it revived my first incarnation too, there really wouldn’t be a reason for me to be there...”

For some reason, after the cycles of reincarnation, Tianming and Tianzi’s talents and personalities fused into one, eventually culminating in Tianming, the tenth incarnation and also the child of Wei Jing and Li Muyang’s tenth reincarnations.

”It’s no wonder the people in the Realm of Chaos said that my personality changed, when in fact, I got my personality from Li Tianzi and my talent from the first Li Tianming... Is that right?”

Tianming found this whole thing headache inducing, but he more or less got the whole picture. Wei Jing’s account was easy to understand, but difficult to accept.

He looked at his parents and said, ”In other words, Li Tianzi is just another facet of me. The Li Tianzi Dao San revived is none other than the corpse of my first incarnation...”

Li Muyang and Wei Jing nodded. Shocking though this was, Tianming felt like the circle had finally closed now that the final puzzle piece clicked into place. They were all still here. His parents’ projections were right before him, and his big brother, Li Tianzi, was none other than himself!

Learning the truth allowed Tianming to finally put down most of his grief. The ones who passed away were still around, so there was nothing to be sad about. But when he recalled the girl that hugged the painting who scattered before his eyes, he suddenly felt his heart clench once more.

”What about Mu Qingqing? If our family is still around because of reincarnation, does that mean she’s gone for good?”

Wei Jing’s expression turned solemn upon hearing that. ”Actually, there’s a chance for you to see her again.”

What? Does that mean that she also reincarnated? ”Can I see her again?”

Wei Jing nodded. ”She accidentally entered the Cyclic Reflector and has become a wandering soul of the Realm of Worldgazing. Her essence is still around. We kept her at a place called the Minor Chaos Dock. Make sure to remember this.”

She waved and manifested an image of light. ”This is where the Minor Chaos Dock is located. As long as you find Mu Qingqing’s truesoul, she’ll tell you where her body is.”

The map seemed more than met the eye. There were many things about it that Tianming couldn’t make out yet. However, he committed it to memory along with the name of the place.

Li Muyang reminded him about something important too. ”The Minor Chaos Dock is where you’ll find the way to hatch your ninth Primordial Chaos Beast. You have to find a way to go there, because the ninth beast is the thing that the pursuers fear the most. It is the key to unlocking the true bloodline chains of all other Primordial Chaos Beasts, making them much stronger! Most importantly, it can tell you about the true relationship and secrets of the Primordial Chaos Emperor and the Primordial Chaos Beasts.”

Tianming felt more and more intrigued as he heard it. To think that the way to hatch the ninth lifebound beast was in the Minor Chaos Dock. Unsurprisingly, his parents showed themselves to him to guide him to his next objective.
