Beastmaster of the Ages

The little empress, Luo Li, had been with Tianming for quite some time and witnessed the true extent of the grudge between the Flameyellow and the Eightpart Pantheons, which ended with Tianming. She respected him greatly, but she did feel that she was drawing further and further away from him. He had become the Galactic Emperor, an existence that was far out of her reach. She came in a hurry before Tianming, her gold eyes and silver hair shining bright against her galactic dress.

Tianming turned back and said, ”I know why you’ve come. You have some family and friends left at Sundown Imperius, right?”

She seemed rather surprised that he managed to guess her intentions. Blushing slightly, she bowed. ”Your Imperial Highness is wise. I know that Your Imperial Highness wishes to reclaim the nova source from Sundown Imperius. Will I be permitted to bring my associates out of there before that happens?”

Her tone was soft and expectant.

This request of hers was a small matter for Tianming. ”I will put Zi Zhen on it. You should contact them and get them to wait at a specific location. Also, Yin Chen told me that your people had gone into hiding. They’re rather smart. Many elite members of the Sundown Pantheon are trying to take them hostage.”

The little empress smiled. ”Your Imperial Highness flatters them. I am glad they are not becoming a burden.”

”It’s fine,” Tianming said, waving his hand. ”Get ready to pick them up.”

The little empress only had around a dozen associates, none that she was particularly close to. Still, it was rather nice of her to even care.

Tianming wouldn’t deny the people on his side small favors like that either. Once Yin Chen confirmed their location, they would be extracted when Zi Zhen was sent there with some troops to clear out all the legacies of the Sundown Pantheon.

When the black-gold vortex opened up near Sundown Imperius and the Sun emerged from it, all the cosmic gods of the Sundown Pantheon felt that their doomsday was here. They cried and shrieked in panic.

The gold-silver imperial-class world shone brilliantly, making it the brightest star in the Upper Star Ruin whenever the cloaking formation wasn’t engaged.

The Flameyellow Imperial Star had yet to fully ”digest” all that it had swallowed from Ninefirm Imperius, yet its solar lances already stretched out. It bore its fangs towards Sundown Imperius like a menacing predator.

Chaos broke out across the capital and many other cities. Zi Zhen and her troops then invaded the world, collecting every kind of precious resource of legacy that Yin Chen had marked. They would be taking everything without mercy. In fact, the legacies had once belonged to the flameyellow divinities in the first place, so they were merely reclaiming what was theirs. The Eightpart Pantheons had enjoyed those resources for so many years, so it was only right that they returned them.

”Last time when we came to Sundown Imperius, we were only able to get things done because of the chieftains of the Undying Aeternals. Without them we couldn’t have threatened Imperator Cang to call back the troops. This time around, however, they no longer have a leader or the ability to resist.”

Tianming looked down on Sundown Imperius from the head of the Niendragon Imperial Tomb, feeling its imperial-class nova source washing over him.

He had truly grown leaps and bounds due to the Realm of Chaos. There was no way he would be able to overcome Shen Wu otherwise.

Eventually, Zi Zhen returned with the rest of the forces. They escorted more than ten core members of the little empress’s family with them, all of whom thanked Tianming with tears of gratitude.

The rest of the cosmic gods of Sundown Imperius watched enviously, their expressions filled with deathly despair. Soon, all of them would die. No matter how much they howled or raged, nothing they did would change that fact. The only ones who were allowed to survive were the little empress who switched sides and those she was close with. All sorts of feelings like fear, unwillingness and hate mixed together within their hearts.

As for the little empress, that wasn’t even her proper title any more. With Imperator Cang’s death, her status as an empress no longer mattered. She met the people who were allowed to leave Sundown Imperius; they had thought that they would die, only for Tianming to grant them mercy on the little girl’s account.

An old elderly man pulled the girl closer and said, ”Luo Li, I heard that you and Emperor Tianming...”

”There’s nothing between us. Don’t make things up,” she said, blushing. She looked at the white-haired youth in the distance and sighed inwardly. Tianming had become a being she could no longer match up with. How could she possibly compare to Tian Jiu and Zi Zhen?

Tianming’s consorts were nothing short of super powerful elites that only showed up once in billions of years in the universe. Even though Luo Li was a genius compared to the normal person, she was far too inferior compared to the women by Tianming’s side.

Tianming didn’t really care too much about Luo Li’s matters. It was clear, however, that the rest of the cosmic gods in Sundown Imperius were utterly crushed by the sight of seeing her family and associates leave safety. Many of them knelt and surrendered, knowing that there was no point in resisting. However, it was far too late for their surrender to mean anything.

”This war has resulted in far too many deaths of the flameyellow descendants. It is too late to beg for mercy and forgiveness so long after the fact!”

Tianming’s attitude was stone cold. He and Wudi gave the order to plunge the massive solar lances deep into Sundown Imperius, causing many black-gold vortices to spring up across the world’s surface. The gold-silver nova source of that world was all sucked to the core of the Sun.

Then, the fusion formation of Sundown Imperius shrank, causing mountains, rivers, seas and continents to crumble. Nova-source storms of gold and silver rampaged across the world’s surface, sending many cosmic gods to their deaths. Their bodies couldn’t weather the powerful storms and got torn into shreds.

As Sundown Imperius shriveled and shrank, the Sun grew larger and larger. By the time almost all the nova source was sucked up, the Flameyellow Imperial Star finally returned to its imperial-class status, glowing blindingly bright!
