Beastmaster of the Ages

The journey sounded easy, but it was only possible with Seventh around. Honestly, everyone was blind in the Infinitum Mundus. Finding an ownerless nova source required luck. Tianming’s ability to accurately pinpoint and go straight toward nova sources was likely unique in the astralscape.

He also spent his time on his cultivation. His Imperial and Lifesbane Wills remained steady while he found opportunities to break through. He also made improvements in the nine sword fusion, Mirage Starslaughter, and Skypierce Finger.

Two years passed in the blink of an eye. He had slowly gotten used to his now-slow rate of breaking through. His main accomplishments had been thoroughly mastering his battle arts, as well as becoming an eighth-level solarian.

“I could probably advance quicker if I had better caeli or went to the Skydome Battlefield to fight.” The caeli were lacking and the darkfiend sigil made him wary of returning. That was why he hadn’t risen greatly despite his astounding talent.

“I’m twenty-nine now, and about to pass the explosive growth phase.”

Both his age and his current situation were bottlenecks. “No matter how talented you are, once you reach a region’s ceiling, it’s easy to become mediocre if you become satisfied with where you are or lack challenges.” That was why he yearned for Infinitum Bodhimanda! Leaving the Mysterium Cluster had absolutely been the right choice. Even going to the Skyway Stars wouldn’t give him a challenge or excellent caeli inheritances.

Tianming’s current best caeli were from the Blood Abyss Wargod, but their upper limit was the Three Sovereign’s Mysterium strength. None were from a sovereign who had broken past the Stellaminoris stage.

“Look at the big picture. You’re now a lion among sheep. How could you remain as fierce as before? It’s when you reach the plains filled with lions that your fighting spirit will roar once more!” Wudi seriously said.

“Godfather, you’re just making me more excited for Infinitum Bodhimanda. That’s a sixth-level world!” Tianming’s mind still couldn’t grasp the concept of its size. He wanted to see it with his own eyes..com

“According to the star map, are the nova sources densely packed up ahead?”

“Yes, it’s the core region of the Infinitum Mundus! It’s an area the size of a star cluster, but filled with over twenty thousand nova sources, which makes the density twenty times that of an ordinary cluster! Apart from Infinitum Bodhimanda, there’s another ten fifth-level nova sources and thirty-eight fourth-level nova sources.”

It was the highest stage of the mundus.

“Is it almost time for our parting?” Wudi was emotional.

“Yes. Ji Ji’s already picked an empty area filled with shattered stars and spatial flows. It’s a good hiding place. We’ll reach there in a month and settle the sun before I leave. With the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, I’ll reach Infinitum Bodhimanda in another half a year.” That was already fast. Distances in the astralscape were very different from distances on continents or a world’s borders. If there were no obstructions, astralships could endlessly accelerate. The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb would be able to hit a top speed of a hundred times what it could above land.

“A travel time of half a year is acceptable. Also, we can meet anytime in the wondersky realm,” Wudi said.

“The wondersky realm really is useful.” Tianming had too many attachments, and he would be able to see anyone from the sun anytime.

“Go, leave the sun to me. Godfather will support you from behind and protect your dynasty. Everyone here’s waiting for you to bring an even greater fortune back and change their lives! When they get stronger, so will you.” Wudi patted him on the shoulder.

“Yes!”

They were standing on the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, which was ahead of the sun. The dense field of stars ahead was already visible. Tianming had already been waiting for too long and was raring to go. He was a man of action and these two years of idleness were unacceptable.

......

A month passed and the sun entered a chaotic region of darkness located at the fringes of the mundus’ core region. If the core region was a stage, this area was the shadow cast by that stage where no one would look; it was the safest place.

The sun ground to a halt. For those on it that had been used to its movement, it felt unnatural. The cloaking formation would permanently be on from now on.

“The Flameyellow Imperial Star’s cloaking formation will definitely be trustworthy!” Tianming could leave without worries. How else would this ancient star keep itself safe now that it had entered a den of lions?

Tianming wouldn’t abandon the sun even though he had chosen to go to Infinitum Bodhimanda to surpass himself and resolve Li Muyang’s eighth life’s regrets. He also knew the sun’s potential was even higher than that of Infinitum Bodhimanda.

“When the imperial star regains its former glory, it and my Tianming Dynasty will be the foundation from which I overlook the astralscape!” Going to Infinitum Bodhimanda was also for the sun’s sake, as seeking out ownerless nova sources to claim would take a ridiculous amount of time to help them ascend.
