Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You

Vol 9. Chapter 64: Ahhh, My Babies — You’re All Soft, Sweet Little Cakes

After thinking it over again and again, Noa ultimately decided to go out in her natural state and give up those “external powers.”

She did care about her figure—of course she did—but not to the extent that she needed to rely on chest pads to hide it.

Besides, her personality was straightforward and clean.

If she could already say with certainty that the people she was going out with were close friends, then there was even less reason to worry about such things.

As for clothes, in the end, that decision was naturally left to her experienced mother.

Rosvisser put together an outfit for her eldest daughter that matched Noa’s usual style while still being suitable for going out with friends.

The overall color scheme remained black.

A short cropped vest layered over a pure white athletic top revealed her clearly defined abdominal lines.

She still wore shorts on the bottom, but Rosvisser put real thought into the shoes this time.

She chose a pair of black-and-white high-top canvas sneakers, which not only matched the coordinated outfits worn by mother and daughter, but also visually refined Noa’s leg and calf proportions.

As for her hair, it was simply left loose and natural.

In addition, Rosvisser added a few accessories.

Sunglasses clipped to the collar, along with a necklace and a chain at the waist.

Overall, she looked exactly like that icy, cool beauty type—very much in the same vein as Rosvisser back then.

“Mm… that should do it.”

Rosvisser adjusted Noa’s collar one last time, then led her in front of the mirror.

“Your strongest advantage is your height—more specifically, your waist and legs. As long as you highlight those, it’s enough. How is it? Satisfied?”

Looking at her reflection—bright, polished, yet still unmistakably herself—Noa’s eyes lit up.

“I am, I am! Thank you, Mom!”

Rosvisser smiled warmly.

Noa was happy—and so was she.

After all, Noa was usually extremely independent. There were very few areas in daily life where her family could really help her.

So being able to teach her how to dress, how to highlight her strengths, made Rosvisser genuinely glad.

In a family, the most important thing was participation.

“Wow—big sis looks so cool!”

At that moment, Moon had also finished changing.

She had been admiring a newly bought dress, but the instant she saw Noa’s transformation, her sister-adoration instinct seized control completely.

She hurried over and clung tightly to Noa’s arm, the little tuft of hair on her head bouncing excitedly.

At the same time, Aurora, Muse, and Xiaoxue had all changed into their outing clothes as well.

Each girl had her own distinct charm.

Aside from Moon’s sweet-girl style, Aurora wore a cotton dress with white knee-high socks. The snug fit at the chest gave her just the right amount of softness, creating a fresh, energetic look.

Muse was still young, so her outfit was simple, though it was obvious she was imitating Aurora’s style.

Xiaoxue, because of her reserved personality, chose muted colors—mostly brown tones—quiet and understated.

Noa smiled gently and indulgently, then pinched Moon’s cheek.

“Then let’s get ready to go.”

“Okay~”

Rosvisser led the girls downstairs.

When they reached the dining hall, their father looked at his beautifully dressed daughters and felt deeply gratified.

And along with that warmth came a quiet sense of awe.

Time really did pass too quickly.

The days when Moon rode on his shoulders playing “dragon knight” felt like they were just yesterday.

And yet, in the blink of an eye, they were nearly grown.

“Time spares neither people… nor dragons,” he sighed.

“Dad, hurry and eat! After that we’re going to Sky City!”

Xiaoxue sat beside him, picking up her utensils and urging him on.

Leon came back to himself and smiled.

“Alright.”

Half an hour later, after breakfast, the family set off for Sky City.

…

…

At the entrance to Sky City, a silver dragon descended slowly.

Its massive wings lowered, and Aurora, Muse, and Xiaoxue slid down one after another, landing steadily on the ground.

Before Rosvisser had even transformed back into human form, another figure came crashing down from the sky in a hurried, unsteady descent.

The eagle failed its soft landing and ended up scrambling upright after hitting the ground.

“At least it didn’t fall too badly. Everyone’s fine.”

Noa was the first to jump down from the eagle’s back. She turned and helped Xiaoxue down.

Leon followed last.

After landing, Leon walked over to the exhausted eagle.

Its eyes were already spinning.

“Sigh. You’re not very bright—and yet you keep trying so hard even though you clearly can’t fly faster than her.”

Eagle: @A@

Rosvisser folded her arms and strolled over, teasing with a smile,

“A master like you gets a mount like that. If you had wings, you’d probably be even worse—competing with me all day over who flies faster.”

Leon pouted but didn’t argue.

Because she wasn’t wrong.

“Still,” Rosvisser added, “Noa and the others are growing up. Your eagle can almost carry three people now, can’t it?”

Leon nodded, gently smoothing the eagle’s feathers.

“Do you remember how Noa and I first built trust with it?”

“I do. I was pregnant with Muse back then,” Rosvisser said. “It sneaked into Silver Dragon territory to steal fish and got caught by Xiaoxue and Noa.”

“In the end, we realized it was only taking the risk because its mate was pregnant.”

“Right. I recently sent their family quite a lot of food,” Leon said. “I saw that their chicks have grown up too, so I was thinking of discussing it with the eagle—seeing if one of its children could come live with Noa for a while and build some rapport with me.”

On the continent, taming intelligent dangerous creatures as mounts was nothing unusual.

But most such taming was done by force.

Leon had also subdued the eagle that way in the beginning.

Yet over the years, he had treated the eagle’s family like friends—caring for them sincerely.

Back when its mate was pregnant, Leon had even traveled far to deliver Jade Dew Dragon Fruit.

So when the eagle later described those ten-plus days living with Noa to its offspring, it could speak fondly of it for quite a while.

Of course, that “fondness” wasn’t because Leon had mastered the language of six-scaled dragon eagles.

It was communicated through rather abstract body language.

After all, that was what Leon was best at.

Rosvisser naturally approved of his idea.

“No problem. It’ll also make it easier for Noa to carry out missions before her full dragon awakening.”

At the mention of that, Leon let out a heavy sigh.

“Honestly… I never expected this.”

Rosvisser raised an eyebrow.

“Expected what?”

“That one day, ‘not being able to fly’ would become a shared weakness between Noa and me.”

Rosvisser blinked.

“It sounds a bit sentimental, but somehow I hear a hint of relief in it—like you’re finally happy someone understands your pain.”

Leon laughed sheepishly and scratched his head.

Rosvisser snorted and lightly punched his chest.

“Noa will fly sooner or later. But you, my dear husband—you will never—ever—fly.”

Leon instantly switched into battle mode.

“So what if you can fly?!”

“Sorry, being able to fly really is amazing~”

Leon: [O?`д?O]!!

Queen: (#^.^#)~~
