Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 318: Chapter 316:”BRING ON THE NEXT CHALLENGE!!!”

I could feel the incredulous stare of the three women behind my back but I wasn’t in the mood to care.

My unflinching stare settled on the spot the army of demons had been wiped out without so much as another noise being made.

The roaring crowd had faded. All that remained was..

”Demons...” I growled under my breath.

What? You thought little Lucien was enough to stop my distaste of this wretched race? When even a demon herself had condemned their nature?

”Heh!” Clarissa’s subtle laugh broke the tense silence between us.

”Hahahahahahahaha... Dante. My sweet Dante! It seems you’re very excited!! I love it!”

”PAKU!!!!” She yelled.

”BRING FORTH THE ARMADA!!!”

At the sound of her words, the entire coliseum began trembling violently.

”Wait!! Is the lady serious???”

”The armada?? This soon????”

”Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit!!! My first day here and I get to see the legendary armada???”

The crowd lost it at the mention of the word ARMADA.

”My lady! What level shall we bring forth?”

”Hehehe... let’s start slow. My Dante here looks very excited!!!” I could feel her excitement even from over here.

”alright! Mira. Claire. Let’s give the man some space. It seems we aren’t needed here.”

Before the other two women could reply, she grabbed them and teleported away, leaving only me standing within the arena.

I remained silent as I waited.

I could feel a potent surge of demonic energy roiling through the entire place as the trembling intensified.

”LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!!”

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

”THERE HAVE BEEN A CHANGE OF PLANS!! THE LADY HAS CALLED FORTH... THE ARMADA!!!!!!!”

”ARMADA!!”

”ARMADA!!”

”ARMADA!!”

I could feel my blood slowly picking up pace.

My rage and distaste turning into a visible excitement.

The crowd’s roaring cheers and energy were infectious.

RUUUUUMBBBBLEEEEEEEEEE....

The entire coliseum shook violently as a structure rose from beneath the floor.

It stood at over 50-foot high, and almost just as wide.

It was a pitch black gate with the crimson depiction of a demonic shattered skull on it.

The words.

”ARMADA.” Written in devilish crimson strokes right beneath the skull.

”LEVEL 1!!!”

The little chipmunk announcer roared in a voice too loud to belong to something that tiny.

”LEVEL 1!!!”

The crowd roared back in excitement..

A crazed and manic smile had already appeared on my face as I could feel my own excitement peaking.

Gone was the earlier rage at discovering demons were trying to ruin my vacation.

And now, all that remained was pure excitement for whatever was about to come out of those gates.

”RELEASE THE ARMADA!!!!!!”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH

BOOOOOM!!!

The gates slammed open as en even more nasty wave of corrupted mana surged through them.

The entire coliseum glowed a golden light as the audience was swiftly covered. Just in time for a heavy presence to fall upon the entire place.

I looked up.

Hundreds.

Maybe a few thousand.

The arena’s space seemed to have been expanded by some space artifact, but I couldn’t care less at this moment, because right before me was an army of thousands of demons.

Each one S-rank and above.

The number that had transcended mortality reaching a staggering hundred.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

The ferocious roar of the horde of demons sent visible shockwaves rolling through the entire atmosphere.

BANG!!!

A massive demon planted his sword into the ground as it looked at me.

”A single human dares challenge my armada? It seems we’re being looked down upon.” It grinned viciously. Picking up its sword, it pointed it at me.

”My brave warriors!!! Tear him apart!!!”

ROOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

The horde of demons roared as they charged at me.

Some already appearing right before me, distance meaning nothing before them.

”DIEEEE!!!!”

More than a dozen law comprehension stage demons struck at me.

The entire arena erupting in a deafening explosion as the runes flowed brighter. Killing off the momentum before it could damage the structures.

ROOOOOOARRRRRRR!!!

The demons didn’t relent.

They didn’t care to know what had become of me after that attack.

BOOOM!!

BOOOM!!!

BOOOM!!!!

A volley of devastating attacks rained down on the spot I had been attacked as..

WOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH

A massive blade cleaved through the skies of the arena.

CRAAAACCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

A massive trench that stretched pfor kilometers within the expanded space, split the entire arena in half.

”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Foolish human! Dare to challenge my armada on your lonesome? You’re too naive!!” The large demon laughed, taking in the beauty in the damage he just caused.

”What!?”

”Is that it??”

”All that bravado and he gets one shotted??”

BOOOOOO!!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

A wave of booing noises exploded from the audience as they made their dislike for the short battle evident, yet before they could continue,

”Heh!” A scoff silenced them all.

Swooosh!!

In collective synchronization. Every eye turned towards the sky. Locking onto my figure.

I floated calmly within the skies, wings flapping gently behind me, as my gaze locked onto the gloating demons.

I raised a finger, pointing it at the sky,

”Absolute series...”

The word suddenly went quiet.

”He.. he’s saying those words again..”

”What’s he about to do now?”

”There’s no way he wipes out an armada with a single move right? He can’t be that ridiculous, RIGHT!!?”

The crowd held their breath. Waiting.

ROOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRR!!!!

”KILL HIM!!!” The demons on the other hand, weren’t so subtle.

They charged into the air.

Others threw volleys of projectile attacks at me.

While some outright tried to use their laws and affect my movements, but it was all..

”Futile..” I smirked. And then,

”Breath Of The End...”

The moment the words left my mouth, the temperature spiked.

The air warped.

The horizon shimmered.

Crimson heat haze spread through the arena until the entire world looked submerged beneath molten glass.

There were no flames.

Just spontaneous combustion from the overwhelming rise in temperatures.

The charging horde. The ones that had already appeared within striking distance of me, arms prepped for the attack, burst into crimson ashes instantly.

The attacks thrown at me. None could reach. They each collapsed into particles that drifted with the wind.

POOF!!

POOF!!

POOF!!

The entire armada down below.

Be they S-rank or Law comprehension stage demons.

None were spared.

They all combusted into crimson ashes as the temperatures soared to impossible degrees.

Even the runes protecting the arena had begun combusting and repairing themselves. But even then, they couldn’t repair themselves fast enough.

”EVERYONE!! RUNNNN!!!” Nobody knew who gave the order, but the entire audience soon distanced themselves from the coliseum as the whole thing seemed one moment away from combusting into ashes as well.

”Im... impossible..” the large demon stuttered with wide open eyes as his form slowly disintegrated into crimson ashes, his last words being,

”Monster... just.. what are you?...”

.....

.....

Silence returned to the barely standing arena as the temperatures finally died down, returning to normal.

WOOSH!!

Mira, Clarissa and Claire, were the first to appear within the skies. Their shocked expressions clear on their beautiful faces as they surveyed the pile of crimson ashes the wind was struggling to blow away.

Woosh!

Woosh!

Woosh!

One by one, the crowd returned. Their shock not any lesser than that of the women.

But then...

”Ab-so-lute.”

A quiet voice began.

”Ab-so-lute.”

Another joined in.

”Ab-so-lute.”

Then another..

”Ab-so-lute.”

And another.

Until eventually...

”ABSOLUTE!!!”

”ABSOLUTE!!!”

”ABSOLUTE!!!

The crowd erupted in a maddening cheer.

Their voices shaking the skies as their excitement was made manifest.

My crazed grin widened even further as I closed my eyes. Spread my arms wide.

”Ahhh.... Yes! This. This is it. This is the feeling.”

I snapped my head towards the fur ball that had appeared a distance away..

”Fur ball!!! BRING ON THE NEXT CHALLENGE!!”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
