Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 314: Chapter 312:The church of Ataraxia

The morning rays of the sun bathed my face in warmth.

My eyes opened slowly as they adjusted to the brightness filtering into the room.

”Mmm..”I shifted. Feeling a weight pressed on my chest, a smile unconsciously appeared on my face.

Looking down at the head of white hair resting peacefully on top of me, I refrained from any other sudden movements.

Placing a hand on her hair, I relaxed back into the bed, caressing the soft white hair tenderly as I let the late morning draw on.

.....

.....

”Mmmm..” a soft groan snapped me out of my thoughts as Mira’s body stirred.

”Mmm..” a soft moan leaving her lips as her eyes fluttered open.

The haze and confusion within them clearing after a few moment of silence.

”You... you’re an animal..” she grated quietly.

”Good morning to you too.”I replied, placing a kiss on her head.

Slowly, she tried to get up. Placing her hands on my body as she finally sat up.

”Nnnggg..” another moan escaped her. She looked down, at our still connected form.

”Why...?”

”I like sleeping like this. Especially after such a workout.” I grinned. Hands behind my head, as I enjoined the excellent view of her body bathed in the ethereal glow of the sun.

”Ughh...” she stretched, her chest becoming even more pronounced from the movement.

”Everything hurts. Damn you Dante. Look at my body.” She remarked. Pointing at all the hickeys I had planted the night before.

”You wanted to be claimed properly. And that’s what I did. You’re welcome.”

”You’re very despicable, you know that right?” She leveled me a deadpan stare.

”I’m despicably handsome. Yes.”

”Haaa...” she sighed.

A lewd and wet plop sounding out as she finally got up.

”I’m taking a bath..”

”I’m coming with you.”

”No! Don’t you dare come near me. I’m hardly capable of walking right now. You stay right there.”

”Nope. I’m coming.”

”Dante!”

”Hahahaha..”

”Put me down! Dante! Fuck!”

”Hahahahahahahahahahahaha....”

.....

.....

”So. You two, anything fun happen last night?” Clarissa asked in a teasing tone as she focused a hawk like gaze on me and mira.

”This is already past noon. How have you two not had anything to eat yet?” I asked, neck deep inside my food.

”We were waiting for you two lovebirds.”

”Or you were waiting to just gossip.”

”The two can be one and the same no? Fufufu..”

”Haaa...” Mira sighed.

”Aunt Clarissa, you shouldn’t be weird like this. It’s too early for your perverted mind to start wandering.”

”It’s not wandering though. I heard everything..”

Mira froze. A blush creeping up her cheeks.

”Fufufufu.. my cute niece. Who knew you could make such noises.”

”Shut up...”

”And you. Dante.”

”Hmm?”

”When am I getting my turn?”

I paused.

”Your turn?”

”Of course. I mean, you aren’t planning on just stopping with Mira right? Raven told me you got her daughter too. So it’s only fair if you take both me and Mira right? Hell, I might even toss in Clair as a bonus.”

”Hey!! Do not involve me in your perverted plans.” Mira’s mother flared.

”Boo! You’re no fun. So, what about it?” Sticking her tongue out at her sister, she turned towards me once more.

”Hmmmm?”

”You’re not actually considering it are you?” Mira’s dumbfounded voice sounded right next to me.

”I mean, it’s Clarissa we’re taking about. In case you don’t know, she’s hot as fuck.”

”That’s my aunt.”

”Doesn’t stop her from being hot.”

”Are you really saying this to me after what just happened last night?”

”You want more?”

”What? Are you trying to kill me?”

”Hahahahahahahaha!!!”

”Hey! Answer me already.” Clarissa spawned behind me. Wrapping her arms around my neck as she pressed her chest against my back.

”Imagine taking both me and Mira at the same time. Fufufufu...”

”It is an enticing offer. But I’ll have to check my schedule.”

”Schedule?”

”Yea. For when I’m free to get my heart ripped out of my chest violently. Because that’s probably what’s going to happen. Well, that and getting my blood sucked dry.”

”Fufufufu... but that’s all part of the excitement isn’t it? I mean, you aren’t scared of a little dying right?”

”Hahahaha! You’re right. It might be a little fun. Just getting to see how aunt v and Dakota react. They’ll be murderous and beautiful.. ahh..”

”Fufufufu.. someone’s getting excited..”

...

...

Claire and Mira just stared at the shameless duo that were flirting without any care in the world.

”This... is the man you chose?” Claire asked. Dumbfounded.

”Haaa... this is the man I chose.” Mira sighed. Exhausted.

”Sorry for your loss, daughter of mine.” Claire leveled a sympathetic look at her daughter.

”It’s fine. I already knew he was scumbag from the start. I’ll survive.” Mira shook her head.

.....

”So. What do you ladies like to do for fun around here. I’m supposed to be on vacation, so let’s vacate.”

””No!”” Mira and her mother exclaimed in fright.

”Fufufufufu.. did someone say fun?” Clarissa laughed, her teasing voice sounding from behind me.

I could see both Mira and her mother shaking their heads furiously. Giving me not so subtle signals to decline.

Yet the more they acted like this, the more curious I became about just why they were acting like that.

So.

”Yea. What do you do for fun?”

””Fuck!””

”Fufufufufu... you’re going to love it. Everyone. Move out.”

Not even giving us time to prepare. Clarissa brought out a device from her storage space, activating it.

Beep.

”Take us to the Pit of Doom.”

”Pit of doom? What the fuck is that?”

”You fool! You’ve doomed us all.” Mira’s mother glared death holes at me. Yet before I could say another word,

Beep!

”Request acknowledged.”

”Teleportation to the Pit of Doom in progress..”

”Initiating in 5... 4... 3...”

”Fufufufu... Dante. You’re going to love this.”

”... 2... 1...”

The moment the countdown clocked zero. My vision flashed white, and when I opened my eyes, I was no longer sitting in Mira’s dining room.

”Welcome. Dante. To the pit of doom.”

.....

.....

Central continent.

Church of Ataraxia.

Unlike one would think, the church of Ataraxia, despite being one of the more powerful forces on the continent, didn’t hold as much sway over the people.

While there were those that gravitated towards worship of higher powers, most focused on acquiring said powers for themselves.

But the Church, being a foundational establishment of the seraphs and goddess, was a force to be reckoned with.

Within the opulent halls of a cathedral, a man could be seen on his knees, eyes closed in prayers with his hands clasped in front of him. Before him, the magnificent statue of a beautiful woman with her eyes blindfolded. A justice scale in one hand and a sword in the other.

”Your eminence..” a voice came from behind him. Breaking the silent ambience of the place.

”Roderick. To what end do you disturb my devotion.” The man’s voice came out calm and authoritative.

”Preparations are complete.” At those words, the man’s eyes finally opened, a pair white irises with his pupils the shape of justice scales.

”We’re ready for the Abyss..”

A silence fell upon the space before the man’s voice replied,

”Summon Kael and Joshua. It is finally time we make that heretic pay.”
