Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 299: Chapter 297:”Could you... accompany back home? please?”

”Now, what the hell are you guys doing?” I couldn’t help asking at the sight before me.

”Oh.. you’re back.” Melissa replied as she turned towards me.

”Yea, so, anyone mind telling me what’s happening with all... this?” I pointed dramatically at the whole scene.

”Oh this? We’re taking a break from the academy, it’s been missions and fighting and putting up with bullshit for the past month, so we decided to take a break.” Khalifa.

”And that involves carrying a year’s worth of luggages? How long does your vacation plan on lasting? And why the hell are you guys carrying this shit in the open when you can just stuff them into your storage devices?” I asked, stunned at how their heads worked in situations like these.

”Well for starters, it should be a week or two at most, and these things barely cover it.” Kaila.

”Secondly, how are people supposed to know that we’re taking a vacation if we don’t make dramatic exits?” Melissa.

...

...

”You know what? I give up. I’m just disappointed it wasn’t what I thought it was.” I waved them off.

”And what did you think was happening?”

”I thought you guys finally decided to move out.” I shrugged.

””””BASTARD!!!””””

”And you! Why the hell are you packed up? You arrived here the same time I did.” I turned towards Cara who also had her bags packed.

”Ummm...”

”She’s coming with me.” Melissa answered in her stead.

”Hmm? Anything wrong?”

”Not really. I just thought it’d be nice if me, her and mom all sit and have a conversation about.. well, everything.”

”Ahh... I see.”

”And the demon is packed as well because?”

”I thought mom would like to know what happened.”

”Oh, I already told her.”

”And?”

”Bloodbath.”

”Haaa... thought so. Anyway, she and Lucien are coming with us, it’ll be good to get out for once.”

Listening to her words, I decided to turn to someone else,

”Do I even want to know where you are going?”

”Bastard! What’s that supposed to mean?” Khalifa flared.

”I mean, I’m sure you’re either going to an exhibitionist contest, or some other troublesome function, so...”

”Dante! I swear to all that’s holy, watch if I don’t cut your head off...”

”You look cute when you’re upset.”

”You’re cute!! Your whole family is cute!!! Your next generation is cute!!!”

”Awww.. thanks.”

”ARRGGGGGGG!!!!!!... let me at him!!!” The violent elf suddenly pulled her massive sword out, ready to pounce.

”Woah!! Alright!! Stop flirting you two.” Kaila.

”I’m not flirting with this bastard!!!”

”Sure you aren’t...”

”Humph!”

I ignored the elves, turning to Mira, when,

”Hey!! Aren’t you atleast going to pretend to want to know where I’m going?” Kaila appeared before me, arms akimbo.

”Just like that exhibitionist, I’m not sure I want to know.”

”Fufufufu... and why’s that?”

”You just seem like the type who’s idea of relaxation is making guys fight over her, just to watch heads roll and still mock the winner by calling his dick tiny and limp, then when he acts out, you’ll just kill him for the fun of it.”

.....

.....

A stunned silence suddenly fell on the entire room the moment I finished speaking.

”Wait....”

”How?”

”Was he...”

The confused voices of Mira, Melissa, and Khalifa made my brow raise.

”Eyy? Don’t tell me she actually did such a thing?”

”Well.....”

”Hah!! I knew it!! A psychopathic crazy woman, that’s what you are! I mean you’re Hot as fuck, but still a psycho.”

”Fufufufu... it’s not my fault if most men just don’t cut it.” The crazy woman didn’t even flinch, merely laughing coyly.

”Whatever floats your boat, you crazy woman.. but, where are you going? Now I’m curious.”

”Wanna know?”

”Yea, sure.”

”What will you trade for it?”

”Forget I asked, you can have a good trip.” Her mouth fell open at my words.

I don’t know what she expected, but I wasn’t one to play games like those, I tire for such chores.

Ignoring the stunned elf, I finally turned toward Mira, about to ask her, when,

”I’m taking this dumbo here to our mother, she needs to be informed that we got an impromptu husband after all.” Kaila’s words made me stop.

”Do you need my company?” I turned sharply, eyes on Khalifa as I asked.

”Humph! Like I’ll ever need that!” She snorted, turning her head, yet the cute smile that appeared on her face said otherwise.

”Hey!! Why are you only asking her?”

”Are you sure?” I asked once more, ignoring Kaila completely.

”Haa.. I am. Don’t worry, mother isn’t the unreasonable matriarch your mind is conjuring up.” Khalifa finally smiled openly as she replied.

”Ehh!? How’d you...”

”I could see the conspiracy theory churning from all the way here..” she had already walked up to me by now, her arms wrapping around my neck as she placed a soft kiss on my lips.

”I’ll be fine. Trust me.”

I looked into her eyes, seeing nothing but surety, I nodded,

”If you say so.”

”You guys know that this is blatant favoritism right?” Kaila.

Once again, I ignored the crazy elf, finally free to ask the last person in the room.

”So, Mira, where are you headed?”

The silent woman finally opened her mouth,

”I’ll be heading back home, mother said I should return.”

”Hmm? Your mother?” Melissa.

”What’s this about?” Kaila.

”Haaa... I think I already know, but I won’t be sure till I reach there.” Mira sighed, a look of annoyance flashing through her eyes.

”Hmm?” My bull shit radar was suddenly tingling, my senses being on high alert, as whenever such a thing happens, it usually means the author is about to pull something stupid.

”Hey, D, can I.... Ask you for something?” I looked at Mira, really looked, and the more I did, the more my Bullshit radar went off the rails.

I knew I shouldn’t have. But then I looked into her eyes.

Damn it...

”Haaa.. what is it Mira?” I caved, unable to bear that look.

”Could you... accompany me back home? Please?”

BEEEP!!

BEEEP!!

I could hear the beeping noises of my radar finally breaking as I just knew, somehow, I had just gotten myself fucked over by that bastard once more..

”Haaaa.... I swear, one of these days, maybe not now, but surely, I’ll make you pay you bastard.”
