Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 265: Chapter 264:As you wish.

”What are you doing?” I asked as I watched Khalifa take off the shirt I’d put on her.

”What? I’m getting ready, we can’t stay here forever, we still have my mission to complete, and it seems they already know we’re here, so it’s best if you expect an army to be waiting for us on the other side of wherever that teleportation takes us.” She explained as she got the shirt off, not bothered at all by the fact that she was only in her underwear, she placed the shirt in her storage device.

”Why are you putting that thing there? It’s mine.”

”Not anymore it’s not. Now quiet.” An armor set immediately materialized over her form.

Calling it armor would be me being generous.

The thing only covered her breasts, arms, and crotch, leaving everything else exposed, her legs had on knee high boots with heels that looked sharp enough to poke a hole through someone.

I stared.

”What? What are you looking at?” She questioned as she tied her white hair into a long ponytail.

”Nothing, just wondering if you’re going to fight or seduce them.”

”You can just say I look good without going around it.”

”And make you decide to add less pieces of armor to whatever this is?”

”Hehehehe... so I do look good. Humph! At least you have good eyes.”

”Yea! I do. And they’re currently very full.” I replied, eyes focused on the generous chests that even armor couldn’t hide.

”BASTARD!!!!! Stop looking!!”

”Then stop wearing things that invite me to look.”

”You know what? How about I just stab you here and be done with it?” Her massive blade appeared in her hand.

”Heh! You need to catch me first!”

I moved.

”GET BACK HERE!!”

”Easy!! Those things might spill out, though I’m not saying I’ll mind, HAHAHAHAHAH!!!”

”DANTE!!!!!!!!”

.......

....

”You ready?” Khalifa asked as we stood before a circular teleportation platform.

The entire mansion had already been emptied out by me earlier, so now, it was just us.

”Heh! Just let me have my way and all this charade will end, they won’t know what hit them.”

”Nope! You’re following my lead.”

”The last time I did that you got stabbed. How will I face Kaila if such a thing happens again?”

”Hehehe. But you won’t let it happen again right? Besides, I’ve learnt my lesson no?”

”Haa... your beliefs will get you killed Khali.”

”Nope! They won’t!”

”And why do you think that?.”

”Hehehehe... because you’re here aren’t you? No matter how dumb they are, how naive they are, you’re still willing to let me try, no? So I’m assured, let me have my dumb beliefs, and if they save you, then I’m accomplished, but if In the end I turn out to be wrong? I’ll still be safe either way, so it’s a win-win.”

”So you’re basically being dumb on the chance that you believe you have the luxury?”

”Exactly... hehehe.. now let’s go, I’ve got some scores to settle with these bitches.”

She laughed as she got onto the platform.

I sighed, shook my head, then followed right behind her.

The moment we got on, the machine activated, and with a flash of light, we disappeared.

......

Light flashed and we reappeared within an underground space, a row of soldiers already waiting for us.

”My, my, my... to think it was merely two kids running wild within my territory.” A confident masculine voice sounded from our front as a figure stepped forth.

It was a demon in pitch black armor, nothing of him could be seen except the two slitted green eyes within his helmet.

(???)

”Hehehe.. you must be the one they call Dante.” The man looked at me, voice sounding like scrapping metal.

”I don’t think I know you, demon, yet somehow, everyone seems to know me, I wonder why?” My cold indifferent voice replied.

”Hisss hisss... worry not boy! The answers will show themselves soon, but for now, I need you to come with us.”

”And if I say no?”

”Then things will get very ugly, fast!”

”Heh! Is that so? Then allow me to see just how ugly you are.”

The moment the words left my lips, my wings spread out, as I took Khalifa into my arms, blasting straight through the roof.

”CHASE THEM!!!!” The armored man’s angry bellow sounded from down below.

CRASSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!

Both mine and Khalifa’s bodies crashed through the roof of what was a mansion more than twice the size of the previous Arghat city.

I looked down and my eyes narrowed.

Soldiers.

That was all I could see.

A sea of figures in armor had surrounded the entire building, and right at the lead of it all, were three figures,

One was the armored man from earlier that had just arrived.

The other two were different.

They didn’t look like the snake demons I’d been coming across all this while as their skin was red.

Not the raging red of the asura demons I’d been acquainted with, but a dark, crimson red.

Their eyes were red, lips, hair, horns. Everything. Red.

A suffocating stench of blood wafted through the air just from their mere standing there.

Even if I didn’t know anything about demons, I knew who our target was, and what type of demon it was,

”Blood demons.”

”Heh! It seems the Duke can’t wait anymore.”

Khalifa sneered as she looked around.

”Dante Von Draken.” My eyes sharpened the moment I heard that form of address.

I looked down, one of the two red skinned demons was the one addressing me.

”I am Cruor Balor, the grand elder of the Balor family, my lord sent me here not to fight, but to merely extend an invitation.”

”Pfft...” that wasn’t even me, it was Khalifa that couldn’t hold it in, and I didn’t blame her.

”I know your race is worthless and foolish, but who sends an invitation with a sea of armored men accompanying them?” I asked incredulously.

”Pardon my lord, he’s merely taking precautions, since it seems you have developed quite the worrying habit of turning cities into ash.” The demon spoke up.

”Heh!”

”Now, we merely wish to have a word, so if you will...”

”Stop!” I shut him down.

”Just stop. Your pathetic attempt at diplomacy is laughable.”

”Want to talk? Fine. Let’s talk.” I looked down, eyes passing through the gathered demons below.

”Give me the head of your young master, and I shall take my leave.”

......

.....

A heavy silence immediately fell upon the area.

”YOU DARE!!!!!!” The second red skinned demon roared, about to move when an extended arm stopped him.

”Dante Von Draken, some jokes can’t be made lightly. You should watch your words.” The first red skinned demon uttered coldly.

”I am already being merciful, demon filth. If it were up to me, this entire realm would be nothing but ashes and blood, but I have decided to give you a way out. Hand over your foolish heir, or suffer at my hands.”

”Haaa.. it seems it must come to violence after all.”

”Heh! So you’re ready to discard this facade and show your true face? Good!” I slowly descended, placing Khalifa beside me.

”Do not say I didn’t warn you. I have given you a chance, you refused to take it, that is on you.”

”Arrogant human whelp! I shall have your head and feed your carcass to the dogs.” The demon’s form started changing.

”But not before I make you watch as I strip the dignity from that foolish elf, I have heard of the exquisite taste of abadonian women, and I shall have my own!”

My expression immediately went cold.

Again!

Again!

Why? Just why were these wretched creatures unable to keep their lustful gazes away?

”I shall have your eyes, your tongue, your death... shall be slow and painful.” It wasn’t a threat, it was a promise.

”Kekekekekeke... Human whelp! Come! I shall deliver your beaten and Bloodied form to the lord, personally!”

”Khali....”

”I’ll be fine... heh! I guess it’s time I finally get a good workout!”

I nodded, wings spreading out as I got ready to deliver some punishment.

”Only those that are guilty, Dante!”

”...please.”

I froze, a complicated expression appearing on my face, before I sighed, ”as you wish.”

BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!
