Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 64: Chapter 63:Old faithful..

Following a brilliant flash of light, I found myself once again within a mossy and damp cavern..

The air was stale, the smell hit me like a gut punch, a pungent odor of refuse mixed with something worse..

Honestly, the very ambiance of this place was doing more damage to me than anything had ever tried to do since this test began...

Fwoooosh!!!!

Fwooosh!!!

Five brilliant light flashes and some dramatic wind movements later and my next opponents appeared before me..

”Of course it had to be more goblins”

.....

I looked at the five menacing goblins that’d spawned before me...

Boss grade monsters, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they were mutated too..

I had no doubt they had perfect mutations as well since the aura they gave off wasn’t something a goblin, no matter how juiced up should have..

”Heh.. tower, is this your way of trying to stall me? Tut..tut.. a bit too naive if you believe goblins can derail me”

I couldn’t help finding it funny, if you’d wanted to stop me, you’d have brought something badder or maybe the rules prevent anything higher rank in lower floors?

Who cares, it was time to be done with this nuisance..

”Heheh, he seems bored” Clarissa laughed gently, watching Dante’s expression as he stared at the spawned goblins with clear disinterest..

”Well, he’s been looking forward to these trials all week, it’s only natural to be disappointed when the hype doesn’t pay off” Raven shook her head helplessly...

Here others were, cracking their heads, pushing themselves, yet Dante wasn’t satisfied, even after the tower showed special consideration and spawned mutated creatures...

”Those ”prodigies” would probably cry tears of blood should they ever see his reaction” Clarissa was tearing up..

Raven just shook her head lightly, knowing fully well that these were not the tests to truly push Dante, ”those are for later”...

********

”Woah!!! Those are mutated monsters”

”He has to stop for a moment now right?”

”The second place is already on the 7th floor, he’ll definitely catch up while that guy deals with those goblins”

The audience was going crazy.

It wasn’t everyday you see mutated creatures, yet the trial tower just spawned five, and not just normal monsters, Boss grad monsters..

Mutated boss grade monsters..

”I knew it, all that was just a fluke, he will probably have to show his true strength now”

Someone from the crowd spoke up..

...

.....

”Wait, what’s he doing?”

A confused voice drew everyone’s attention to the screen...

*******

The goblins before me were supposed to be strong..

But that’s if they were put against normal e-rank warriors..

I was anything but normal..

”Using that on these small fries feels like too much of an overkill.. guess I’ll just use this instead..”

Saying so, I activated the use of a talent that had taken the backseat during my recent encounter..

surged within me..

I could feel the raw primal energy coursing through my veins, strengthening my body, making me into something more, definitely the work of the ability Divine musculature....

The atmosphere trembled softly, a heavy aura drifting out of me, the passive titan’s authority, making it self known..

The ability instantly stacking unto the already active Tyrant’s gravity well..

I could see the goblins twitch, their ugly faces turning a shade paler in fear, their trembling bodies giving away all they felt at moment..

The talent had taken a back seat during my encounter with the Wyvern only because it was a bit weaker and I couldn’t really get past the Wyvern’s defense with pure physicality..

Like I said, my stats should theoretically make me as strong as an SSS-rank, but realistically? Battles aren’t won with just raw numbers, the Wyvern was proof..

Nevertheless, before I digress, though the talent had been of minimal usage back then, it was in no way a useless talent..

Just like right now, instead of spending my Chaos energy, like a mad man, why not use this talent instead and go on a rampage..

I smile as the thought settled in my head..

”Okay, let’s get things started.”

I closed the palm of my hand into a fist..

The air exploded with an audible boom! Just from the mere act of me clenching my fists..

And then I used an ability from this talent that gave my monstrous strength attribute the chance to become an absolute disgusting beast..

Kinetic Overload:

The user’s blows release shockwaves of compressed force, capable of:

• cracking the ground

• sending enemies flying

• damaging multiple targets with a single strike..

.....

The goblins seemed to have felt the danger as their faces twitched violently, they snapped out of their dazed states, weapons drawn, spells beginning to be cast..

Outside, the entire audience stood in silence , both this present and those watching from their homes..

The topic of the gathering already clear..

I didn’t bother with any of that, I simply closed my fist, took a stance and then punched forward, the air stilled for a moment , almost as if reality was taking its time trying to catch up and then all shit went to hell...

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM.....

A concussive shockwave exploded from the impact of my fist with the air...

The entire cavern exploded into a shower debris of dust and marble.

A cloud of dust rising dramatically...

A few moments later, the dust cleared and then the aftermath of that single punch was made evident...

The entire place looked like it’d been run through by a mad truck..

A crater more than fifty meters wide stood like a gaping wound on the ground, ancient trees having been uprooted and sent to whatever tree heaven existed out there..

As for the goblins... well, what goblins??

In the middle of all that carnage, as casually as you could possibly get..

So there I stood, arm still stretched out in a punching motion, expression utterly bored and unimpressed.

I’d expected this outcome, I hadn’t even used my full strength just to mitigate it, yet...

”Sigh... well, unto the next I guess” moping around wouldn’t do me any good, so might as well run wild a bit..

....

Outside the trial tower..

The entire crowd watched as the dust cleared and his figure finally appeared..

Dante Draven, he stood there unharmed, his snowy white hair blowing wildly in the winds, a bored expression on his face as his eyes stayed forward, his current appearance instantly sent any woman within the vicinity into emergency bathroom breaks... again..

His body still stuck at the posture he cut in that punching motion

The whole place had gone dead silent the moment the dust fully cleared...

The moment they saw the outcome of one punch from Dante..

The moment they saw what a single punch had done to multiple BOSS graded MUTATED monsters, they stopped to process the whole absurdity of the situation for a bit..

And when the processing had finished, the atmosphere exploded...

WOOOOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!********

A/N: not feeling quite okay...
