Warhammer Divine Throne

In the height of summer, Count Glamorgan, at the top of the Dawn Mage Tower, in the private area of Female Member Jialan Veronica, the master bedroom.

The newly installed air conditioner blows bursts of cold air inside the room. On the soft large bed, a pair of lovers are embracing in sleep. Outside, the sun is bright; inside, there’s a bizarre scent.

The esteemed Count softly gasped twice. He closed his eyes but felt a brush of hair sweeping across his face.

It feels ticklish.

Laine tried to dodge, but the warm and soft jade-like figure lying on his chest clung to him tightly.

”Alright, dear, don’t tease~” Laine had no choice but to open his eyes.

Veronica was lying on top of him. The Jialan Witch’s sweet, heart-shaped face was filled with happiness and suspicious blush. Her slender jade hand grasped a strand of her hair, sweeping the black-brown strands over Laine’s face.

”Don’t tease~” Laine reached out again, the Count easily caught the Jialan Witch’s wrist. Veronica offered no resistance; instead, the Jialan Witch rested against Laine’s chest, her voice dreamy: ”Dear, thank you... ”

”There’s no need for thanks between us, Veronica. This is what you deserve.” A gentle warmth spread between them, Laine hugged Veronica tightly, they exchanged smiles, and Veronica closed her eyes, kissing him.

Three minutes later, Veronica gasped and pushed Laine away: ”Time to get up, Laine. Catherine has already prepared the hot water. Take a bath before you head back to the castle.”

Laine nodded, he indeed should get up. The Count turned over and got up. He noticed Veronica still lingered in bed, so he smiled and said: ”Not going to join me for a bath?”

”A bath together? Oh, my goodness, I don’t want a bath to last two hours. The most I can do is hold onto the railing while you have your way.” Veronica rubbed her waist discontentedly: ”Don’t mention it. My waist is still sore, and my legs have no strength. I’m going to sleep a bit more.”

Laine was dressing, and he affectionately stroked Veronica’s cheek.

Last night, Veronica gave it her all. She and Laine kept up their battle until dawn. Laine is no longer who he once was; the Jialan Witch was crushed, conceding defeat utterly.

Laine understood Veronica’s intentions. As she said, Veronica knew her current relationship with Laine placed her at a disadvantage, and she had no cards left to play. To express her love, she needed to do this.

After finishing at dawn yesterday, they cuddled and talked for a long time. Veronica even couldn’t help but cry. Owning a luxurious wizard tower of her own is every witch’s dream, and with Laine’s help, Veronica achieved this dream at the age of twenty-nine. She has completely outpaced everyone else. Among all the Female Members Jialan, she is the first to have built her own wizard tower before the age of thirty.

”I still miss the you from last night.” Laine turned over and got up, smiling as he spoke. The morning Veronica had fully recovered her usual sharpness and shrewdness, the woman who cried last night seemed like a dream, only Laine knows that such a witch truly existed.

”Hmph~” Veronica blushed, seemingly recalling her loss of control. She was merciless with her words: ”My Great Knight, you actually have this kind of hobby? Then I think you might as well find your Princess Jialan, she would definitely be willing to cry for you!”

”Hahaha~ Even at this point, you still won’t give up mocking Teresa. Veronica, is it truly that kind of endless enmity between you and Teresa?” Laine said, helplessly.

Veronica adjusted her dress and settled comfortably on the bed. Hearing Laine’s question made her a bit dazed. After thinking for a while, the Jialan Witch suddenly sneered, ”It does seem like you said. Whether in spells, wizard towers, or over men, I have defeated her. It seems I don’t need to bother with her anymore, but after hearing your question, I think I still need to keep entangled with her.”

”That’s just your jealousy at work, dear.” Laine was about to go to the bathroom but turned back after hearing this: ”Veronica, show me.”

The Jialan Witch glared at Laine, seeing his resolute attitude, then somewhat shyly pulled up her dress. On her alabaster, fine-jade-like belly, the Spirit Rune Imprint Laine left is still operating.

The silver sharp sword heart pattern continually stores Laine’s spiritual energy, and notably, its wings have fully spread. When Laine’s fingers gently touched the Spirit Rune, it immediately glimmered in response.

”Dear, what’s wrong?” Veronica’s face was a bit red.

”Completed. My Spirit Rune Imprint has penetrated your body and soul.” Laine’s fingers brushed over the beautiful pattern: ”This means you can master higher-level magic without fearing Chaos Corruption, and it also means...”

”Also means I’ve become your possession, haven’t I?” Veronica glared at Laine: ”Tell me, dear, how many women have this now?”

”Just a few days ago, I completed Ollica’s imprint. Now there are three.” Laine prefers to speak the truth; Veronica is a clever woman, and he wouldn’t lie.
