The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1697: Chapter 690: Self-Deception

”Why... why are you taking off my pants?”

”Nonsense, you’re sitting on a wet floor, how can I clean it up if it’s not taken off first?”

”Then why are you unbuttoning my shirt?”

”If it’s not taken off, what if the shirt gets dirty later?”

”...”

Qu Peining always felt something was off, but Zhou Wang spoke with such conviction, she was left speechless.

Their conversations were deliberately hushed, yet the movements between them were fiercely intense in silence.

Swish swish!

After some handling, the well-tailored fitted women’s blazer and straight-leg pants were casually hung on a nearby clothes rack by Zhou Wang.

Qu Peining felt she had strength but couldn’t exert it; in a daze, she ended up in her current appearance—

The hem of the pure white dress shirt was loose, dropping just enough to cover a small portion of her upper thighs, leading down to two smooth, straight, tightly joined long legs.

Qu Peining’s skin wasn’t particularly fair; among the women around Zhou Wang, she ranked near the bottom, completely different from the cold, pale skin like moonlight of the older female student.

But she had some resemblance to Miao Ying, with a slightly darker wheat color, marked by the signs of UV exposure.

Miao Ying’s skin tone was likely more influenced by genetics, while Qu Peining’s was altered due to her training experiences over time.

However, Qu Peining’s leg shape was one of the most beautiful Zhou Wang had ever seen.

Long, firm, upright like a white poplar, with a distinct beauty given by strength, revealed a sculptural beauty when her legs were stretched out.

Zhou Wang’s gaze was intense, and Qu Peining sensed his almost tangible sight, feeling terribly embarrassed.

Because she was tall, the length of the white shirt seemed insufficient, forcing her to bend slightly to avoid revealing innerwear. But with this, she faced another issue, the moon behind couldn’t be fully concealed.

As Qu Peining was still anxiously tugging at the shirt hem, seeking a suitable angle, she saw Zhou Wang had already rubbed a circle of hand soap in his palm, expertly making it foam, then squatted down.

”What... what are you doing?”

Startled, Qu Peining immediately tried to retreat backwards.

Yet she forgot this was a cramped bathroom space, moving just one step back meant her lower back was against the sink, roughly pulling the distance from five centimeters to ten centimeters... better than nothing.

Zhou Wang slightly moved, realizing Qu Peining still wanted to flee, suddenly he spoke coldly, ”Don’t move... I said I’m just helping you clean. Why can’t you tell good from bad?”

I can’t tell?

Qu Peining was fuming, heart flooding with a sour sense of grievance.

Yes, it’s me who can’t tell good from bad, leading to being bullied by you to this stage, shamelessly staying to be your bodyguard, I don’t even know what I’m seeking...

Qu Peining’s sight suddenly became blurry, experiencing a bitterness belonging uniquely to love.

But before her emotions could further ferment, Zhou Wang’s foam-covered hand already touched her.

Qu Peining yelped, immediately recoiling as if ”scalded.”

Zhou Wang’s palm temperature was frighteningly high.

Yet soon, Qu Peining calmed down.

Because she realized Zhou Wang seemed not to be lying... he was indeed just honestly helping clean the skin surface of her legs, with a focused expression showing no signs of disrespect.

In fact, Zhou Wang’s hand avoided the shirt hem, intentionally steering clear of areas that shouldn’t be touched, appearing quite proper.

So is it that I overthought?

Qu Peining was uncertain, though inevitably when a man’s large hand brushed her legs, her heart stirred with some peculiar emotions, she realized they were within acceptable range, not as awkward as imagined.

At least compared to her previous experiences, this was utterly normal.

”Why don’t you sit down? That way, I can’t exert force well, and you might be uncomfortable standing too.”

At this moment, Zhou Wang suddenly looked up and suggested.

Qu Peining briefly hesitated, then blinked, first adjusting her expression, also holding back tears almost shed, before saying ”hmm,” and sat on the toilet guided by Zhou Wang.

The bathroom was clean, with the air scented by mint incense. A disposable film covered the high-end ceramic toilet of unknown brand, so Qu Peining sat down without much resistance, indeed feeling much more relaxed.

...Tsk, how easy to deceive!

While Zhou Wang continued to apply foam for Qu Peining expressionlessly, he silently mused internally.

Due to sitting, Qu Peining’s legs appeared longer, importantly everything became faintly discernible.

Zhou Wang glanced, initially confirming it was pure cotton white, inexplicably wanting to laugh... only kids wear this kind of clothing.

Zhou Wang hadn’t seen such simple innerwear for a very long time.

However, being a person who preferred gradual progression, he continued to act seriously, even after just a glance managing his gaze well, diligently continuing to help clean Qu Peining.

Zhou Wang was far more meticulous than when washing hands and feet himself, while Qu Peining undoubtedly felt his ”sincerity,” gradually not being so tense.
