My Cards are Infinitely Refreshed

232: [Thunder and Lightning] unleash their power.Chapter 232: Lightning Flash Unleashes Its Power

The Demon-Defeating Dark Hunter’s passive is somewhat similar to Red Blade Maiden’s, gaining Magic Immunity every few tens of seconds.

This is its strongest and unique life-saving skill.

Additionally, its strength lies in early-game laning, where it can suppress the opponent’s energy Recovery and unleash ranged attacks with Quantum Entanglement.

To a certain extent, this ensures its early-game laning advantage, preventing interference.

Shi Li even felt that if this character were taken to the top lane, it would likely become a lane-dominating presence, completely suppressing the opposing top lane character.

In the Feike Alliance, there’s a player named Yu who is famous for playing long-range top laners for pressure.

Taking the Demon-Defeating Dark Hunter to the top lane would truly make you shout, “Don’t eat, don’t eat!”

However, he wasn’t very optimistic about the Wisdom System’s performance in this mode.

Because Wisdom System characters can only regenerate energy when returning to the fountain, eating fruits, or possessing the blue BUFF.

They cannot regenerate energy autonomously at other times.

And while the Demon-Defeating Dark Hunter is a physical damage dealer, 50% of its output relies on activating Echo and Finishing Blow.

These two skills.

Coupled with the fact that, like the Flower Cudgel Leader, its body is frail and its legs are short.

It’s not that these types of characters are weak or unsuitable for play.

Rather, Shi Li felt they didn’t align with his philosophy.

Because these types of characters largely depend on teammates.

After all, the Feike Alliance is a five-person game; one person alone cannot win.

But now it’s the first confrontation in this mode, so the same sentiment applies.

Shi Li wanted to rely on himself more than on teammates.

So his final choice was Lightning Flash.

Lightning Flash, Momentum System [Rhythm]: Lightning Flash permanently increases its attack power by 0.2 points for this game for every target killed. [Fighting Thunder]: Lightning Flash’s next attack can hit an additional time for every 5 attacks. [Flying Stream Flash]: Lightning Flash deals 3 hits of 50% physical attack power Fixed Damage to a target.

[Furious Splitting Flash]: Lightning Flash attacks a target, applying a Stun effect. [Blinding Flash]: Lightning Flash attacks a small area, applying a Blindness effect (Ultimate).

This was the character template he chose, with skill values at max level.

In Shi Li’s eyes, this character perfectly met his requirements.

Firstly, it’s a ranged damage dealer, relying on throwing knives for output.

Secondly, it possesses a very powerful passive Talent in the Mobba mode, with unlimited growth potential.

In Shi Li’s understanding of the Feike Alliance, Junglers or mid laners getting two to three hundred Finishing Blows in a game is a relatively normal and common phenomenon.

300 * 0.2 = 60 attack power.

He looked at the purchasable equipment in the mode description.

60 attack power is equivalent to a fully completed major item.

And it’s unlimited; the longer the confrontation lasts, the more this value increases.

One ideal scenario was for him to bury himself in the jungle, farming monsters, and then emerge with a high attack power bonus to carry the entire game, easily sweeping up.

Additionally, its 3 basic skills were also very practical.

Fighting Thunder is a simple and straightforward damage increase.

And as a Momentum System character, this passive can more effectively help it regenerate energy.

Flying Stream Flash is an active skill that deals damage and comes with Charge; its Fixed Damage can be used against tank characters who buy armor-stacking equipment.

Furious Splitting Flash is a single-target crowd control skill, and most crucially, it’s targeted rather than skillshot-based.

Which is what everyone calls “lock-on.”

Hard crowd control is vital for a Jungler, whether encountering enemies in the jungle or ganking lanes.

Any lock-on hard crowd control skill is invaluable.

As for his chosen ultimate, Blinding Flash, it transforms this skill from single-target control to area-of-effect crowd control.

Wielding two controls, Blindness + Stun, Lightning Flash is extremely powerful for both chasing and self-preservation.

In this regard, it can, to some extent, compensate for its lack of mobility and frail body.

After selecting his character, Shi Li waited patiently.

“Hello.”

The second person to enter also chose to join the blue side.

Shi Li saw that the other person was a human with a round-tipped tentacle growing in the center of his forehead.

“Hello.”

He returned the greeting.

“What mode is this? How do you play?”

“See for yourself.”

Shi Li was too lazy to answer, treating him like a group member who couldn’t use a search engine.

“Oh~~~~”

The person wisely fell silent and then delved into the explanation.

After finishing his query, he chose the Support role.

It seemed this was a player who lacked confidence or preferred to avoid responsibility.

Shi Li said nothing more to the other person, just waited quietly.

After a while, more people entered in succession.

Both the blue side and the red team now had 3 players each.

And on both the blue side and the red team, the mid lane and Jungler positions were taken first.

It’s important to know that some things cannot be understood just by reading the explanation.

The experience that Mobba is a mid-jungle game can only be known by those who have played it before.

Shi Li was not surprised by this.

Since Blue Star has the Feike Alliance, why wouldn’t other civilizations also have the Tiwan Alliance or Sanghe Alliance?

At this moment, in contrast to the somewhat dull atmosphere on the blue side.

The three people on the red team were all quite talkative, so after they had all made their choices, they started chatting amicably.

“By the way, I think our team is very strong.”

This was said by the red team’s top lane.

He arrived last, so with the mid lane and Jungler already taken, he had no choice but to settle for the top lane.

“Play well, we have a great chance of winning.”

The one who chose mid lane already seemed to be acting as a team leader.

“That’s right, later you guys must pay attention to my pings at all times and cooperate well with me.”

The one who chose Jungler had an even more condescending attitude.

To be honest, mid and jungle are noble positions.

They did look down on the top lane position a bit.

“------”

The red top lane player could clearly sense this attitude.

However, for the sake of victory in this confrontation, he chose to swallow his anger.

“But I just don’t know what kind of lineup the other side will choose, aren’t you curious?”

The red Jungler suddenly said.

“Actually, we could send someone to check out their intelligence.”

The red mid lane suggested.

His suggestion was feasible.

Although they could change characters before the confrontation officially began.

But maybe the others wouldn’t change.

Just like them, they had already decided on their chosen characters.

Characters within the same faction can be viewed by each other, so taking advantage of the fact that positions on both sides weren’t full yet, sneaking over to check the enemy’s character information was completely feasible.

After viewing, they could come back and make adjustments based on the actual situation.

“But who will go?”

The red Jungler knew the suggestion was feasible, but he didn’t want to leave.

Because he was worried that if he left, his Jungler position would be taken by someone else.

And the red mid lane naturally had the same thought, so they both turned their gaze to the red top lane.

“I’m not going. If I leave now, I might not even have a top lane position left. You guys can go; I can help you hold the position.”

The red top lane immediately refused.

“How about this, we’ll help you hold your position first, and we’ll definitely give it back to you when you return.”

The red Jungler saw the other party’s firm attitude, so he turned to persuade the red mid lane.

As the one who proposed this, the red mid lane did waver a little.

The ultimate goal of participating in the confrontation was naturally to win.

To win, intelligence was very important.

“Alright then, you two must help me keep an eye on my position. I’ll be back very soon.”

Ultimately, the red mid lane completely wavered.

Just a quick look, it’ll be fine.

With his photographic memory, he could get the information with just one glance.

So he chose to leave his faction and go to the blue side’s faction.

Then he quickly scanned the three characters on the blue side.

First, the Support position.

“Hmm, this character looks a bit ordinary.”

“It’s a protective Support, mainly focused on protecting allies.”

“It doesn’t have much initiation ability, and its own body is relatively frail.”

However, Support characters cannot be viewed in isolation; they need to be paired with the bottom lane character to make a true judgment.

Because the Support character’s biggest task in the early game is to cooperate with the bottom lane character.

Let’s look at the mid lane position.

“This guy’s character is a bit strong.”

“It’s not at all weaker than my mid lane character.”

“I should adjust my character’s skill descriptions slightly based on his character.”

“I happen to have skill descriptions that counter him, so laning will be easy for me.”

This blue mid lane player fully aroused his vigilance.

He quietly made a mental note, considering the opponent the biggest threat on the blue side.

Finally, let’s look at the Jungler position.

“Holy crap!”

He didn’t pay attention at first, but once he did, he was immediately captivated by Lightning Flash’s stats.

Infinitely scaling physical attack power, high burst damage, lock-on single-target crowd control, area-of-effect crowd control.

Excellent, this is absolutely an excellent character!

Originally, the red mid lane player had already felt that their top-mid-jungle setup was very good, certainly not inferior to others.

And just looking at the strength of the blue side’s mid and Support, that was indeed the case.

But in the Jungler position—

It must be admitted, this Lightning Flash is very strong.

Especially the single-target lock-on crowd control, which comes at a small cost and can be used to gank any lane in the early game.

And then it can carry in the late game, so it covers both early and late stages.

“Looking at it this way, it seems their lineup is better—

“A Jungler that is strong in the early, mid, and late game, and adaptable to any team, right?”

Just as the red mid lane was thinking this, a prompt appeared before his eyes again.

“Each faction is divided into five positions: top lane, mid lane, bottom lane, Jungler, and Support.”

“Please choose your position.”

“You can change positions at any time when a position is vacant.”

—”

So his gaze drifted to the vacant top lane position.

This position he had just looked down upon so much.

“Forget it, for the sake of winning, anything goes.”

He gritted his teeth and made a decision.

So he chose the blue top lane position.

That’s right, this guy defected.

At this time, the two people on the opposite side were unaware, still foolishly waiting for their teammate to return.

“Does looking at character information take that long?”

The red Jungler felt something was off.

“Perhaps he’s chatting with the opponents, trying to scout their tactical deployment?”

“How about I go take a look.”

The red top laner thought further than the other party.

So, without waiting for his current teammates to reply, he directly jumped to the blue side.

“Holy crap!”

When he saw Shi Li’s Lightning Flash, his reaction was exactly the same as the red mid laner’s.

But now he should be called the blue top laner.

“Another person has abandoned darkness for light, welcome, welcome.”

At this moment, the blue mid lane spoke.

“------”

The red top lane glanced at the silent guy in the top lane position, seeming to understand something.

“Each faction is divided into five positions: top lane, mid lane, bottom lane, Jungler, and Support.”

“Only the bottom lane position remains.”

“Before the confrontation officially begins, you can apply to your teammates to change positions at any time.”

The reminder made him fully realize.

Bottom lane it is, then.

“Right, right, right, I’ve joined you guys.”

“I have the enemy Jungler’s character information!”

Having made up his mind, he immediately said.

“Oh, we already have the enemy Jungler’s character information.”

“And we also have the enemy top laner’s character information, but it seems useless now.”

“------”

His teammates’ replies left the blue bottom lane feeling a bit sour, and he looked at the blue top lane again.

You, with your thick eyebrows and big eyes, you used up all the proof of your loyalty, didn’t you?

However, at this point, the blue side was fully assembled.

And two of them were clearly coming for Shi Li, which implicitly made him the core of the team.

When the opposing five also gathered, the confrontation quickly began.

Shi Li had already familiarized himself with the map through the early explanation, so he immediately headed to the blue BUFF entrance to stand guard.

“Jungler, I’ve placed a ward at the three wolves entrance for you.”

“Jungler, are you starting with blue? I’ll help you.”

The top lane and bottom lane were very perceptive.

“Thank you.”

Shi Li couldn’t help but feel that his teammates seemed to be pretty good people.

He learned Fighting Thunder at level one, a purely passive skill that consumes no mana.

After clearing the blue BUFF and leveling up to two, he learned the stunning Furious Splitting Flash.

Then he looked at the minion waves; his top lane and mid lane had temporarily gained lane priority and were pushing the minion waves forward.

So he made up his mind.

“Hey, hey, hey? Brother, where are you going?”

The mid laner was farming minions nicely when he suddenly saw that his Jungler’s avatar on the mini-map was not in their own jungle.

In Mobba confrontations, this was a very aggressive move.

Because in the opponent’s jungle, the opponent’s Support path is naturally shorter.

If he didn’t manage to steal the enemy’s monster, it would be equivalent to wasting travel time, a big loss.

If he successfully stole the enemy’s monster, he could also be killed by the opponent, which would also be a big loss.

In that instant, he had already concluded that Shi Li was a Mobba rookie.

Frowning slightly, he switched his camera to Shi Li.

“First Blood!”

As soon as he switched, he saw the kill screen.

The enemy Jungler was currently farming the second set of jungle monsters, the red BUFF, and was at low health.

Shi Li sneaked through the bushes, landed a Stun, and then, with the monster, they flanked and killed the opponent in two or three hits.

“Boss is awesome!”

His mid laner immediately changed his tune.
