Pillar of Yita

The two consecutive failures clearly dealt a significant blow to the prestige of this faction, allowing the side of Pudra to find an opportunity to rise. The current activities of the Dragon Worship Sect appear to be somewhat fragmented, with one faction still stubbornly planning to revive the glory of the Dragon Witch.

Meanwhile, the other faction is carrying out their so-called ’grand plan’ in the Southern Region.

So, by simply ending the actions of the Dragon Worship Sect in Idus, can he really stop the overall plan of the Dragon Worship Sect? At least in the plan at Nikopolas, there are still traces to be found—whereas the other side, he is not so sure about.

He actually had the Colin Ishurian Navy intervene, which might have just helped Pudra in striking the Resurrection Faction a little. What happens afterward might not develop in the direction he anticipated.

After all, the two sides of the Dragon Worship Sect have not yet reached a completely opposing situation, as can be seen from the collaboration between Fanric’s sides.

After he figured out these things, everything became much clearer to Fang Hong, and this clarity allowed him to calm down—at least it seems that the Dragon Worship Sect is not really a seamless ’egg,’ and the internal divisions suddenly presented him with so many opportunities.

He might not have analyzed so much without the conversation between Pudra and Rolin.

The Dragon Worship Sect originally seemed mysterious and unfathomable to him, but once this veil of mystery was lifted, it was actually not that significant behind it. Although these cultists and the Dark Saints behind them still seem to be a force he cannot oppose at the moment.

But at least there is a limit, like seeing this BOSS as ?? Level before, and now seeing it as a Level 50 World Leader. A Level 50 World Leader, though distant, is not insurmountable.

He mentioned this matter to R.

R: ’After thinking for so long, you only came up with this little bit of your stuff, and I wasted my hint.’

Fang Hong was momentarily confused: ’Teacher, you thought of this a long time ago!?’

R: ’Of course not.’

’Ah?’

R sent a distressed emoji: ’Who’s investigating the Dragon Worship Sect? Me or you? Analysis must be based on information; without intelligence, how can you expect me to analyze it?’

’But you? You have the information, and I made you understand the principle of seeing the essence of the problem, yet it took you so long to have an epiphany. Isn’t this just foolishness?’

Fang Hong was stunned, somewhat dumbfounded.

R looked at him and finally commented: ’But earlier, that battle wasn’t half bad.’

Fang Hong was momentarily taken aback. After all, in his impression, this was the first time R had directly praised him.

’But you’re still far from it,’ R replied again: ’Understanding the previous mistakes is certainly good, but for you, it still hasn’t settled the essential issues, such as what is the ’grand plan’ of the Dragon Worship Sect in the south?’

’Also, the key to your involvement in the series of plans of the Dragon Worship Sect, what role did you and the Lady Elf play in that, and what was their real purpose, you’re still not clear, are you?’

Fang Hong could only nod.

Indeed, the fundamental conflict between the Seven Seas Travel Group and the Dragon Worship Sect is actually rooted in the murder of Miss Atira’s younger brother. To this day, they haven’t got any leads on that case, just being passively drawn into it and accidentally exposed to some of the Dragon Worship Sect’s secrets.

Why did the other side hire the same people that Hilveld had employed; what did Miss Atira’s brother experience before his death, what adventures went on at the Traveler’s Rest, and where did the Starlight of the adventurer go?

None of this is known.

Behind it all, there are even legends about the spires and secrets of portals to the Third World mixed in, making it all the more perplexing.

This is also the reason for his previous hesitations—of course, he could simply solve the problem—but the problem is, if he misses this opportunity. Next time, when he wants to get as close to the truth behind the Dragon Worship Sect, who knows when that will be again.

After all, now he still holds critical clues related to the series of plans of the Dragon Worship Sect, and from Mazak and that old gentleman, he learned many old secrets which are not always easy to come by.

You never know what you missed.

It’s just that R saw his expression and said: ’Seems like you thought of a foolish way.’

’But then what is a good way, teacher?’ Fang Hong couldn’t help but ask.

’The principle is simple, since you are sure it’s the doing of the Dragon Worship Sect, then why bother with so much? As long as there’s no more Dragon Worship Sect in this world, does it matter who killed that Elf lady’s brother?’

Fang Hong sweated madly, this was too simplistic and brutal. Although the logic was correct, wasn’t the real issue that he didn’t have the strength right now?

He shook his head: ’But I worry that just eliminating them simply is not addressing the root of the problem.’

’Is addressing the root your turn now?’

’But...’

’Alright,’ R sent a yawning emoji: ’I want to sleep, seeing you dumb like this, I guess there will be no results next. As for what you want to do, just handle it in your own way, why care about my views?’

He paused, then added: ’But just one thing.’

Fang Hong: ’?’

R: ’Next time you look for me, don’t do it in the middle of the night. If you’re not sleeping—why should others not sleep either?’

He swore softly, and his avatar went dim.

Fang Hong couldn’t help but wipe his face, then looked at the system time—it was exactly two thirty in the morning, only then did he realize he might have been a bit too outrageous.

He lifted his head, only to look towards the girl searching for crystals not far away—the other side clearly had some connection with the Dragon Witch disaster a hundred years ago. In her earlier unintentional words, she revealed an important piece of information.

He still remembered clearly—when he described those black crystals, namely Dragon’s Scale, the girl said herself that he didn’t need to comfort her.

So, the origin of the other side was obviously a bit suspicious.

The Dragon Witch disaster a century ago is obviously a hurdle that the Dragon Worship Sect cannot bypass, as long as the struggle between Pudra and ’that person’ hasn’t concluded, they will certainly continue to entangle with this matter.

And at this moment, the lead that he and the Seven Seas Travel Group hold could very well be key to their victory.
